Under the Roccian Sun. (Saint)

[Sonorc Optimus]

"My gods, this land is awesome!" Sonorc said, as he enjoyed the warmth of the sun beating down on him. Of course, to the young people, this heat could be unbearable.
Sonorc and Kain were walking in the land of the sand, Roccia, looking for new members of the Sonorc's Rebel, (Or Saints, like anyone would choose that). They already gathered some members, and now going for a new member, in this land of Roccia.
"Come on Kain, keep up! Let's find this new guy!"

[Kain Angelo]

Kain was surprised with how much energy Sonorc had, at some points Sonorc could outrun Kain!
"I'm... working... on it...." Kain gasped for air as he struggled to follow behind Sonorc. They were approaching the location where he had scanned for a valuable members of the Saints (Yes, Saints, not Sonorc's Rebels!) "We... should be nearly our target..."

[Sonorc Optimus]

"Aww, I like this place. The heat is doing wonders for my body." Sonorc said, as looked around, "Now, this new guy, I heard some rumors about him, so we might need to be on guard with him." He looked at the abandon building that used to be a trading post. "You want to go in first, slowpoke?"

[Kain Angelo]

"I wouldn't have come this far if I thought that his aggression could not be contained..." Kain said confidently, "Just watch, Sonorc, as I recruit a new member without a single swing of my sword."

Kain stepped into the abandoned trading post, looking around for his target.

[Bartholomew]

Bart sat in the back of the barren room, wearing a tattered cape around his body, but his massive black steel sword poked through the cape, and pointed it at Kain. "Are you one of those needed someone or something destroyed?" Bart asked, as his monstrous eyes stared at him, "Or are you a travelers lost in this desert?"

[Kain Angelo]

Kain turned towards Bart, attempting to make eye contact so he could copy his memories and powers, "I suppose I am one of those people who want something destroyed... You know of Duo, do you not?"

[Bartholomew]

"Heh, Duo and his Golden army?" Bart said as he grinned, "Sorry kid, but I'm not one for protecting the world, not anymore. I had that job, and I got booted and almost killed for doing the good job." His sword was still pointed at him, "So, I won't take your job."

[Kain Angelo]

Kain met eye contact, and in mere seconds he had copied his powers and individual memories for his own use. Kain smiled while shaking his head, "Bartholomew, I don't think you understand the gravity of the situation... within the next year Duo would have taken over everything and have killed anyone in his way. Now are you saying there is no one you love?" Kain questioned as he took a step towards him, "No one you wish to protect?"

[Bartholomew]

"No, I lost everything and anything I cared about long ago." Bart said, "I am just trying to survive, just being the trimmer of this world." He just started at Kain, and said, "I am a free man now, if there is a job that I don't want to do, I am not doing it."

[Sonorc Optimus]

Sonorc was listening though the door, and tried to think of a plan. He snapped his fingers, then he kicked the door. There was a loud crack sound, but it was from Sonorc's foot. "OWWW" He said as he grabbed his foot, and then he opened the door. He looked at Kain, then at Bart.
"Excuse me, I am a humble pilgrim, along with this fine gentleman. He though doesn't seem as relible as you. Can I pay you to escort me though his dangerous desert?" He asked, rubbing his sore foot.

[Kain Angelo]

"Eh...?" Kain questioned, glancing back at Sonorc, "What are you....?" He stopped speaking, catching onto the fact that Sonorc was up to something.

He simply tried his best to look insulted at Sonorc's statement, it came out looking rather odd, rarely did Kain show such an emotion as 'insulted', "I am not only clearly insulted, but also very angered! You can't just back out of the deal!"

[Sonorc Optimus]

"I pay for a job well done, and honestly, you came here for your own personal greed. Maybe if he accepts the job, you could tag along and see how a professional does a bodyguard job. Damn Whippersnapper." Sonorc shouted at Kain, then he looked back at Bart, "So how about it? I will pay a good deal of coin to you, for a good job. You seem 10 times stronger, than this guy."

[Kain Angelo]

"What!?" Kain laughed, "That man can't be stronger than myself, I am the most power person in the WORLD!"

'This is so stupid. There better be a point to this, Sonorc...' Kain's thoughts echoed into Sonorc's head as Kain became more irritated with this plan.

[Bartholomew]

Bart sighed, and put his hand on his hat, thinking that they were up to something, but he need, "Fine, Old man. I'll guard you, up until Stagerila. It will be 1,500 coin" He said as he stared at Sonorc, "Half up front, half when we get there."
Sonorc smiled and said, "Of course." Sonorc pulls out a bag with a letter K on it, "750 coin on the dot."
Bart stood up, and picked up his sword, and he and Sonorc walked outside.
"Come on Kain." Sonorc said.

[Kain Angelo]

'I'm wondering if Sonorc's plan was to dislodge me as leader...' Kain thought to himself as he reluctantly followed them. He wondered how the other Saints would react when they see what is going on.

"Coming..." Kain said with a deep sigh.
