All of a sudden, just then, there came a loud noise. It sounded like someone shouting. Someone who had stumbled and was about to fall.
"Whoa! Wh-woah-woah-woahwoaaaaaaaaaaaaaah!"
It was cut off and replaceced by a loud CRASH to their left. A yound man with spiky blonde hair wearing a red coat had faceplanted into the crater just next to them, and he looked up with a sheepish expression.
"Aw, man! I just have the worst luck.... hey! Volkmar! Is that you?"

"I don't care, just don't get in my way. I have a goal, and I must complete." He said before a red ball fell in front of him. "Oh, it's you! The Ghost Moon warrior." Volk said, completely forgetting his name.

"Vash!" He sprung to his feet, then swept a bow to Yuna. "My fair lady, it's wonderful to meet such a beautiful young woman as yourself. Truly, it would be my honor to escort you to wherever it is that you're going."

The last part slipped out by accident, the tone bittersweet. She'd left that title in Spira; and while she was glad to be rid of it, she sometimes missed it. Old habits died hard, she supposed.

She laughed. "You? Maybe. Him?" She shook her head. "He's harmless."
In a way, he reminds me of Gippal. Which might lead to questions as to whether or not he's really harmless at all...

"Another... world?" she asked, surprised. Deciding to keep with her story rather than doing the suspicious thing and change to a new one, still not knowing anything about these people, she shook her head. "There are other worlds?"
