Ayalan looked across now- it seems the guards were quite hampered for now by their dull senses.
He looked over at the others, and covered his head with a hoodie from a cape- one very similar to Roxa Sairen's. He then looked to the others.
"Welcome to the party," he nodded to Ingway, Volk, and Vincent. "So now we've gotten closer and past the guards here, but there IS only one entrance by what I see. But that'd be too obvious." He looked over to Ingway and Vincent in particular, "You two probably would be better tacticians than I- tell me what you find to be the best entry point."

Between the lightning fast movements and the added effect of the fog, the pair of abyssal brutes that patrolled the front entrance to the temple failed to see any of the four as they slipped past their route.
While the gapping entrance to the temple indeed stood as the most likely path of entrance, it was because it was the only way into the temple. Between years of degradation and landslides from the mountains it was affixed to the temple had only its front arch intact. With no gate or obstacle to prevent their entrance a clear torch-lit path almost beckoned the adventures further inside it. A greeting chamber was foremost in their sights, with a set of iron double doors at the opposite end of the arch, and a rounded corridor to the left and right of the large greeting room.
As the party planned their next course of action, the dark behemoths stood still in the center of the courtyard. Their tendrils swept through the air with interest. The fog that had permeated the area from Ingway's cloak had a most unique odour to it. Of course the brutes had not the minds to figure out what exactly had just happened, but it was out of the ordinary. As they each opened their small mouths they let out a low heavy sound. It was too relaxed to be a roar, too songlike to be a dull moan. Whatever it was it rang far through the area, passing the adventures without effect.

Volkmar was leaning against the rocks, when he heard the callings of the beast. "Whatever you guys are thinking about doing, better think it quick. Something just happened with those things." He said as he watched the courtyard while still being hidden.

I perused our surrounding inquisitively, trying to see if anything jumped out at me as an alternate entrance. The problem wasn't so much a path way, but one that all four of us could use. Thinking about using my glyphs to dig a path into the well fortified Temple, I quickly dismissed the idea, thinking that the bright glow from my sigils, even through the mist, would give away our positions.
It was unfortunate, but the more I thought about possible strategies, be they distractions, assassination tactics, or other methods of entry, the more it seemed like the main entrance was the only reasonable way through, given what we know about the creatures standing guard...which was nothing.
Always willing to hear a second opinion though, I I turn to my slick-haired cohort, hoping to pick his brain for options. "Honestly, sneaking through that main door seems like the only viable option, given what we know, but maybe I'm just a little too focused on my staple tactics. What do you think we should do, partner?" I question, facing Vincent.
