Brea was wandering down the Pneum trail casually thinking to himself and what was going on with his life, he had heard of the many ambushes that occured on the trail but he was not one to come unprepared, he had readied himself before setting off, excercising both his body and mind to prevent either a muscle cramp or misjudgement if he was ambushed.
He was lightly treading down the trail when some bushes to his right rustled slightly, reacting quickly, Brea drew his sword and turned to face the bush with his weapon at the ready to fight off any attackers, but instead a small fox lept from the shrubbery and stared at Brea, cocking it's head to the side and gazing into his eyes wondering on it's fate
"Oh..." Brea muttered lowering his blade ever so slightly so as not to startle the creature before he heard footsteps behind him, his reactions were quick and swift, he gave a quick spin and brought his sword up yet again before he heard someone else drop onto the trail behind him then another rustling as a third figure lept from the bushes, Brea growled silently to himself before the fox changed form into yet another assassin, all were wielding cutlasses "Well..." Brea muttered "Quite the predicament..."

On his long journey of "what the hell is this land of Allorum" Ganondorf had found himself venturing deep into Ariadelvento, taking note that this half of the world seemed to be a little more...'chaotic' than the other, for lack of a better word. One country seemed peaceful but the moment you stepped into the borders of another (Ketulunanox seemed to be a prime example coming to his mind) suddenly everyone wanted you dead for petty reasons like them disliking the colour of buttons your shirt sported.
Somehow he'd managed to appear not too far away from Brea's ambush and watching the strange man become quickly outnumbered seemed to put a smile on his face.
'Man, he is so screwed Unfortunate for a fool. Perhaps I'll stick around to watch how he handles himself in this--should he show potential I may just lend a hand...' he thought to himself, keeping his distance and backing up to hide in amongst some trees to watch what he hoped was going to be a great spectacle unfold.

Trudging heavily along the winding and treacherous Ariadelvento trail, I put my hand up to cover my face against the cutting winds, squinting to try and see the pathway before me. As my weighty steel boots slam once more against the dirt beneath, leaving another well indented pattern of my footwear, my vision picks up an interesting scene, as a young man becomes surrounded by several cloaked figures, weapons brandished in his direction.
Partially obscured in the blowing cloud of dust, I grip the hilt of my sword and begin to sprint towards the cloaked assailants, eventually breaking into a full charge, before leaping into the air, and descending upon the cutlass-wielding aggressor.
With a quick motion, I draw my blade and slash down at him with a brutal intensity, him noticing me with just enough time to raises his sword to parry. Clashing with him, my heavy stroke cleaves through his light blade and continues through his right shoulder, eventually parting him with his sword wielding arm, as he hops away from me, gripping at his bloody stump in pain.
"Well, this seems a bit more even now, doesn't it?" I say as I pick up the man's severed arm, smear some blood on my free hand, and then throw the limb off to the side. "You think you got at least one of them, kid?" I ask the young-looking blonde, while focusing my attention towards the other cloaked figures.

Brea smiled as someone else entered the fray, easily cleaving off the limb of one of his attackers "I think I should be able to" he replied to the figure before turning to the assailant who had earlier appeared to him as some sort of fox. Lunging forwards with his blade, Brea thrust his weapon towards his opponent but they swung their own cutlass across it parrying the strike, Brea made his next move swift quickly stepping to the opposite side to the attackers blade before striking the back of his knee with a well placed kick.
The figure dropped onto their knees with a small grunt and pierced it's cutlass into the ground to try and get some leverage behind him and get back onto his feet but before this was possible Brea kicked the weapon away and swiftly... Mercilessly, brought his katana down onto the man's neck, the cut was clean and effortlessly sliced through the spinal collumn before out the other side of his neck, the head tumbled off the shoulders and Brea let out a deep sigh.

As the blonde-kid dealt with the one opponent, I hold my position as the last uninjured assailant slowly paces closer towards me while twirling his cutlass with pointless and flashy flourishes. Letting him get close, he finally takes a quick step towards me and thrusts his blade into my shoulder.
Reacting with only a small facial tick, I quickly grab his hand as it still grips his sword, and hammer the hilt of my blade against his elbow, almost effortlessly breaking it. Letting go, I swiftly grip the cloaked figure by his throat and hoist him off the ground, as his legs kick in an effort to escape from my massive hand around his throat. Pointing my blade towards the man's face, I see a quick look of panic in his eyes before I skewer him through his torso and wring the man dry of any blood in his body, absorbing it into my blade before giving my sword a flick and tossing his dried out corpse off to the side.
Sheathing my blade, I run my finger across the wound on my shoulder muttering, "Hmmm, a little deeper then I thought it would be," before absorbing the blood on my hand and completely heal the wound. Turning towards the young-looking kid, I motion my head towards the last assassin as he tries to crawl away and ask, "So, whaddya wanna do with the last one?"

"Well now, if you were to ask me..." A harsh, yet effeminate voice spoke from on top one of the trees that speckled the sides of the pathway. From no more than a few feet away from the skirmish A.B.A. dropped from the tree, the massive Paracelsus in her right hand. "I'd say it'd do to find out if there are any more like these few around here, and finished them off in one fatal swipe. No sense leaving them a chance to prey on any others."
Her eyes glanced over to the crawling assassin, and with an indifferent glare in her eyes she cast Paracelsus out at him. The key-shaped blade landed just a few inches from him, its eyes moving to stare at him with a look of wide-eyed haunting.
"Stay still till they decide how to deal with you. Your life may count on it." She cast him an intense look before she looked back to Brea and Grey, her lips curled in a bemused smirk.

Glancing towards the owner of the harshly effeminate voice, I stab my blade into the ground, and fold my arms as I look her over, my face bearing it's common grimace. Swatting some of the dust out from my silvery beard, I turn back towards the assassin and begin to trudge my way towards him, stopping to dip my hand in a small pool of blood that followed behind the one-armed assailant.
Stopping in front of the assassin as he stares at into the eyes of the large key, I grip the back of his cloak, hurl him in front of the strange girl, and then walk back towards my sword.
"I personally don't give a s*** about any guild or anything along those lines. I saw the kid outnumbered, and figured he could use a hand, nothing more, nothing less," I grumble as I arrive back at my blade and sheath it. "I've got bigger fish to fry, so unless either of you've got something of actual importance for me, then I'm outta here," I say with a tone of apathy as I glance back towards the blonde kid and the strange girl.

Ganondorf remained hidden, having watched the two men take on the assassins. He grinned at the final one being made to suffer like he was, perhaps these were people he should get to know. The one seemed to have quite the mouth on him, though Ganondorf was unsure if a man like that could even be of much use to him.
Nevertheless he stepped out from his hiding place and slowly approached the group, hands calmly at his sides and unarmed as he said, "For a man who acts like he couldn't give a damn about anything other than himself, your actions sure speak a lot louder helping a random stranger out in a time of need. It's admirable and pitiful at the same time," he spoke bluntly, then turning his glance towards Brea, "I have to say the young man possesses a lot of talent, dealing with his assailants as effectively as he did. True power never fails to reveal itself, afterall."
He wasn't sure on A.B.A. yet. He shot a look towards her but wasn't sure what he should or could say to someone who'd been around just about as long as he had been.

"If you find pity in helping a person in need, then you're heart is as dark as your skin," I scoff at the heavily armoured man as he approaches from his hiding place. "Let me guess..." I say as I pull my sword from it's sheath and thrust it into the ground. "You're a man of power. One who holds reign over the lives of others as if there were his to own. You do what you think needs be done to better your own existence, using those you rule over to get there, be it at the cost of their lives or not. Am I right, or are you just an asshole?" I mock with a curt tone as my grimacing glare remains focused on the dark-skinned man.

Hmm, so the observer comes out too...interesting. A.B.A. looked from man to man, gauging her opinion of each before her. Well, all but the remaining ambusher at least. She knew just what to think of him and his dirty crew.
Business of a sort had brought her to Ariadelvento. The same business had brought her to the knife's edge of a half dozen of the same thugs with the same tricks. Before she had killed the last one, she had managed to get the location of one of their stakeouts. He had been too strong to give any information on their hideout, but not enough to lead her to the very ambushers she had just seen defeated.
This time, the one that remained looked much weaker.
"Our newest addition holds truth in his words. You helped that man in distress, and you killed without hesitation. If your scope of aid lies only in what you see in front of you, then you are very naive." She stared down Grey with an equally stern glare. "Or perhaps you are just as bad as you claim our newcomer to be." A.B.A. seized the frightened ambusher by his cloak as she reeled Paracelsus back into her grasp.
"Regardless, I have business with this one and his gang. If you have a taste for vengeance or simple do-goodery you're welcome to join me. I promise once there, you'll find much for your senses to deem...objectionable." She had laid in wait in hopes of following the gang back to their hideout, but it seemed fortune had given her a better choice. Allies were always appreciated, and powerful allies were something she always sought a more...permanent relationship with.

Ganondorf chuckled and shook his head.
"Idiot. You don't know if he was even in need, you showed up before his battle even began. Not to mention your ability to assume exactly what a person is in their entirety--and be wrong, further--is uncanny," he said, folding his arms and then turning his gaze to A.B.A., "at least someone here understands this. What kind of 'business' do you have with this gang, girl?"

A.B.A. shot Ganondorf a curious glance as she placed a hand on her hip. "You're free to join if you'd like, but my motives are my own. I need only your skill, not your questions. Unless, that sword on your back is just for show?"
Hoisting the captive ganger to her eye level she drew her gaze upon him, and she could feel him quake in her grasp. "I believe you have something I want boy, so why don't we find somewhere more private to talk?" Turning her back on the trio of warriors she slipped past a pair of trees as she gave a quick wave of her hand back to them and the words, "I won't be long.".

"Don't question my scope of aid, you self-rightious b****. I've got motives, and they're none of your f****** business!" I bark, raising my tone from it's common grumbling. "And as for you..." I begin as I turn my attention back to the bulky, armour-clad man, "Save your insults for someone who cares. I just call 'em like I see 'em. Be glad though that you aren't who I thought you are, or we'd have a conflict worthy of some actual attention," I remark having dropped my tone back to normal, and sheathing my blade.
Turning away from the the strange girl and her new dark-skinned "friend," I begin to make my way down the trial and away from small congregation, slowing just as I past the blonde kid to whisper, "Watch your ass kid," before I continue on from this brief distraction and on towards my original destination.

Ganondorf merely raised an eyebrow at A.B.A. before she disappeared with the gang member. He hated the idea of having to leech on to someone else but if anything he figured he could find her helpful, maybe she knew a thing or two about what he was looking for. If not, maybe she could lead him in the right direction...
He remained quiet as Grey kept shooting his mouth off, crossing his arms and keeping his eyes on the man as he marched past arrogantly. He made sure to make a mental note of the man appearance-wise. If he ever ran into him again in the future, especially when he had his presumed army together, he'd have to see how mouthy the man was then. 'Cause no one threatens Ganondorf biznitches! *gangsta-arm-flinging*

A.B.A. paid only a passing heed to Grey's cross retort as she dragged the ganger behind the trees. First him, then she'd deal with the old warrior and the rest of them. In a single smooth motion she threw the man down and brought a transfigured set of long knives upon his throat. The fine edge drew only a hint of blood that beaded down his neck.
"Your base. Where do I find it?" She asked calmly, letting her blades add the threatening factor...for now. The man looked at her with wide eyed fear, sputtering incoherently as the words caught in his throat.
"Does your mouth not work? I'd be happy to open a fresh path for your words to get out." Sterner than before she pushed the blades against his neck for just a moment. "Where is it?!"
"L-l-l-lower ban..."
"What? Speak up!"
"The lower banks!" He cried, his desperation to save his skin had finally overcome his shock. "Beyond the grove just a mile south of here. There's a small embankment that leads to the river. Now please let me live. Please!"
"Of course." A.B.A. looked vaguely in the direction he indicated as she sliced her blades into him. His death was instantaneous. Slowly she pulled the key free from her forehead and eyeing it for a brief moment she let it slide into the ganger's head. A soft light seemed to creep from the wound where the key was placed. When it faded, she pulled it free and placed it back inside her. Moving to her feet she muttered, "I need you alive after all." as her body shifted to match his appearance.
"Hmm, he was telling the truth. Pitiful cur had no loyalty even in the end." Letting herself shift back she emerged from the bushes, her clothes and face stained in the man's blood. "Are any of you wishing to join me?"
