Lamuria chuckled. "How's that?"

"Fist fighting? It's wonderful. An excellent way to blow off steam, a lot easier than challenging someone to a duel too. This way you don't kill them.... Most of the time."

He nodded. "I've always disliked violence myself, at least violence for it's own sake. It is a discordant melody that only becomes sweet when placed with the harmony of justice."

Scott shrugged. "I make a living off of violence, it's also how I managed to survive where I grew up. Don't get me wrong, I'm quite the peaceful guy. Sometimes I just need to let myself go and blow off some steam."

He nodded once again. "Maybe someone will come along and allow you to relieve some of that stress."

"It's not so much a matter of stress as it is the knowledge I won't be going home soon... Or ever again for all I know. So I'm wound up kind of tight right now. I believe that's understandable"

"Ahhhh, you miss Earth. Never fear; I'm sure there's a way to return you, especially since there is definitely a way for you to come here. While the Prophet may be gone, there are many others well-versed in the ways of the worlds who shall soon find the way to return you to yours." He patted Scott on the back.

Scott nodded and smiled. "I'm going to take your word for it..." He took another shot then put the glass down softly. "I want to explore this world a little bit more, I don't get many chances to enter a new world"

The swordsman heard talk of fighting and became instantly interested. Perhaps an opportunity to test his skills would arise... however, as the subject turned to fist fighting, he became somewhat put off. He followed the way of the sword and had little interest bare-handed brawling. However, there was still the possibility that he could find someone to test his strength against... "..." Laying low for a bit, the swordsman watched as a mysterious figure cut in and started mingling with the foreign mercenary from before. The two of them talked about royalty, fighting, traveling and such. The swordsman hoped they might act on their ideas to start some sort of brawl, but it quickly became apparent that they were mostly just chatting. "...Well, so much for that." Keeping his arms crossed for a while, he turned and looked back over at Aeyara, who appeared disconnected from the others. She still seemed a bit intoxicated from what he could see. "...You should be more careful. You could've gotten hurt back there." He spoke with a straight face and a level voice. Aeyara probably a bit too drunk to appreciate the advice, but the swordsman figured it was worth addressing, regardless.

Scott breathed out heavily again and then finally said "Let's do some brawling...." Turning around, he tapped a man on the shoulder and said "You've got 5 seconds until I fight you, prepare yourself..." Scott took a few steps back and raised his fists, looking at the man he said "Ready?" The man nodded and they both grinned. Moving in closer to the man, Scott threw a fake jab. As the man turned to block the jab, Scott leaned back on one leg and kicked the man square in the middle of the chest sending him sprawling, causing him to fly out a window.

Aeyara blinked when Rutger spoke to her, returning from her own little world in her head where she was plotting how to seduce him. Not that she really needed a plan, she had just been bored out of her mind listening to Scott talk to Lamuria (who looked kind of cute, too...) "Hm? Oh, well I didn't think he was really gonna hurt me, " A liiiittle bit of a lie, "but I'm glad you were there to help." she smiled at him in a way she hoped passed as cute rather than drunk. She took another drink from the bottle and watched as Scott started fighting some random guy before turning back to Rutger again. "Soooo..... Where are you from?" A bit of a dumb question, but at least she wasn't drunk enough to stupidly ask why he was there. She was pretty sure he was there for a fight.

The swordsman watched indifferently as the foreign mercenary assaulted the nearby bystander. Though he said nothing, the swordsman's eyes sized up the soldier's style. The man was strong, certainly, and had quick reflexes, but his moves lacked refinement and grace. However, the swordsman hardly expected to find finesse in a tavern brawl. While he appreciated a good duel, the swordsman was starting to see the prospect of a bar fight as little more than a joke. "...I should have anticipated as much." After murmuring to himself, the swordsman turned back to face Aeyara. He observed that she was continuing to drink and was now starting to ask questions. He glanced over at her for a moment without saying anything. "..." He took a second to size her up. She was good-looking, he noted, but she also tended to be talkative. She didn't seem violent, but she did appear to possess a good deal of stubbornness. Of course, she seemed to enjoy a drink; it was possible that she was engaging him in conversation with the hopes that he'd buy her next round. Still, for the time being, he'd indulge her. "...I simply did what I had to." When Aeyara inquired about his origins, the swordsman's features hardened. He did not want to arbitrarily discuss his past at the present. He decided to brush off the question with an evasive answer. "...I am a traveler from far away. I've been on a long journey, but it is far from over. That is all you need to know." The swordsman's demeanor seemed to grow cold at the end of his answer, and his words seemed deliberately vague. However, he did not seem to be acting combative; he was simply avoiding the subject. Not wanting to be scrutinized, the swordsman directed the flow of conversation back towards Aeyara instead. "...Though I suspect you have had your own fair share of adventures, yourself. I have met very few women with the forwardness to steal from a soldier in the public view." The swordsman stood with his arms crossed. He spoke with a level voice and did not smile, but something about his demeanor suggested that he was teasing her, albeit subtly.

Aey pouted when he said stealing. "I wasn't stealing... I mean, sure I took it but it's a dangerous weapon and I didn't want him killing people... But I wasn't stealing..." she said before finishing another drink. She'd lost count at this point but for once decided to not have another... yet. She needed to not get any drunker yet.

Navarre watched as Rutger talked to the woman that stole a gun, and took a sip from his water bottle. He walked up to listen into this conversation, hopefully that he didn't get attack by anyone else who were extremely drunk.

The swordsman brushed a strand of hair out if his face and looked over at Aeyara. He briefly contemplated pointing out the contradiction of her claim, but he decided it would be more trouble than it was worth. It wasn't like those drinks were going to make her any more coherent, after all. "..." He lowered his head and rested a hand on the hilt of his Killing Edge, as if making sure it were still there. Having it within his grasp appeared to make the swordsman become calmer. "...It's not my concern... as long as you don't take anything of mine." The swordsman straightened up and crossed his arms. Now that things had settled down, he had a few other questions of his own. "...Though I don't think you've told me who you are." Perhaps it had been because of all the tension earlier, but the swordsman couldn't recall hearing any sort of introduction. He figured it was best to know who exactly he was dealing with in this situation.
