Yeligar stood there, and knocked on door. He had some boxes in his arm. He lost his cloak in the war, and hadn't have the time to get a new one. He was keeping his promise to visit her once in a while, and he figure that it was around the time that he could visit her. He cleared his throat and stood there, waiting for the door to open.

The door opened, revealing a short woman with curling brown hair--Mel--looking up curiously at Yeligar.
"...You're Vincent's friend, right?" she spoke, head tilting to the side, "I'm sorry, he's not in right now."

"Hello Mel." He said, with a big smile, "I was actually here for Jasmine, but how are you? it feels like forever since I visited you, and so I thought since I was heading towards Ingis, why don't I visit you."

Mel didn't say anything else right away. She smiled, holding open the door for Yeligar to step in and she immediately pointed begrudgingly out past the kitchen to the back door.
"She's out there," she simply said, closing the door and heading out towards the living room, "it's nice of you to come."
Jasmine was sitting outside, in a more full garden than when her father had first bought the place. She wore a light turquoise-coloured dress, her hair was longer and had a lovely curl to it, and she relaxed against the large tree in the back yard studying a small book.

Yeligar smiled and then handed her one of the wooden boxes that he had, and gave it to her. "I thought you would like a bottle of some Roccia wine, for you and Mr. Loque. If you don't like it, I can get you something else that you like." He walked towards the back, and said, "And what will you be reading, Ms. Loque?"

Mel had politely accepted the wine, saying she'd let Vincent know about it when he got home before she'd left to stash it away.
Jasmine looked up at Yeligar, half-surprised that he'd shown up as she hadn't seen him in months.
"Mr. Maelstrom, I'm studying alchemical theory. Not anything too different from normal, I guess. How have you been?" she spoke, closing the book she read and getting to her feet to greet him.

"I have been great, I haven't felt better." He said as he scratched his back of his head. His shirt revealed that he was a bit thinner than last time. "How have you been, it must have been like 3 months since I have seen you last time."

Jasmine really didn't notice if Yeligar was any thinner or not, she never checked out old men she'd always seen him garbed fully in armor and a cape so it was really hard for her to tell. She took his word for him feeling great, though. She'd give him the benefit of the doubt as things had been...very peaceful since Trucido's downfall. It was wonderful, if not an odd feeling to get used to.
"I haven't been too bad, I guess. As you can see, Papa's still seeing that girl," Jasmine gave the house a disapproving glance before politely smiling back at Yeligar, "it's still a little hard getting used to not having to jump into action, hiding or grabbing a weapon when you hear an odd noise in the night, though. The Sumata is gone, now it's just a stray animal clawing at the windows or climbing the roofs now and then. Ignis is full of hardened and belligerent people though, so Papa always insists that I stay indoors at night anyway."

"Ingis isn't all that bad in the smaller villages, like in Lancof." He said to her, "Well, I am glad that we don't have to hop into war. It is these times of peace that I have always fought for." He looked at the rabbitapple tree, and notice that the apples were about to produce the apples. "Man, it looks like I should have waited before coming over, so I could have some apples. Oh yea, I got you these earring." He said as he pulled out a small pouch, and handed it to her.

Jasmine chuckled slightly and then blinked curiously at the pouch that Yeligar handed her. She smiled as she said, "You really didn't have to, though I thank you."
Opening the pouch, she pulled out a couple of golden-hooped earrings, glittering with stones down the sides.
"They really are very lovely, I thank you for them, Mr. Maelstrom. If there's anything I can do for you, you let me know. Did you want a drink or anything? We could go sit in the living room for awhile."

"I would love a seat." Yeligar said as he looked at the garden, "So, do you attend to the garden, or does Ms. Hatt have the green thumb."

Jasmine had lead Yeligar to the living room and then immediately stepped into the kitchen right beside it to prepare a fresh pot of tea.
"We both end up doing our part in it. The flowers that stand taller, stronger, and are far more vibrant are mine," she said with a grimace, carefully placing the pot, some cups with cream and sugar on a tray and bringing it out to the table.
Pouring them a couple of cups of tea she continued, "We spend the same amount of time out there, though." Jasmine glanced over to the garden to see that Melanie had taken off outside to the garden. That meant Jasmine was going to stay inside for the rest of the afternoon.

"Ah... So, the tension between you and Ms. Hatt haven't been resolved." He said, as he picked up his cup and blow on it, making it cooler to drink.

Jasmine brought her own cup to her lips and shrugged. "I don't know what you're talking about," she answered sweetly, suddenly raising an eyebrow as she spied Melanie taking a suspicious step towards her Santo-Lucian Hibiscuses. Those were Jasmine's favourites and required a great amount of light and warmth to thrive--it wouldn't surprise her if the woman, how immature she was, was out there trying to poison them. She shook her head and decided she'd have to investigate it later. "I'm surprised at just how much the military keeps busy despite the absence of the Sumata," she quickly changed the subject, resting her cup back on the saucer after a quick sip, "Papa's coming and going a lot, he always seems to have something to do. Right now he's supposed to be inspecting something at the border of Ketulunanox."

"Oh, really?" He asked her as he took another sip of his tea. "Do you know why he is inspecting the border?"
