(My first official thread as Jasmine Loque, hope I do her original player proud. Here I go.)
When Jasmine had found Andy she knew her return home would spark some interesting comments from her father, some she could deal but what she couldn't deal with is the thought of her father and Andy going into a shouting match. The last time they met they nearly got into a brawl, and that was only a year ago! She shuddered at the thought of what could happen now...
...so she would forgive herself later when she saw that the house was empty, her father was out, as was Melanie. It was just her and Andy now...she tried her hardest to ignore that tingling rush she got at the mere thought of it.
"Well...we're here," she announced, pushing open the door to the small kitchen. "Looks like Papa's not here...he must be out or something."
She moved to the far end of the kitchen and -anxiously- awaited for Andy to step in.
"Come on in, you don't need to stand there you know..."

Andy wouldn't be able to get used to this place, it wasn't like Hala's house. Which had grown to know as familiar ground. It was obvious Vincent had different tastes that Hala did, or maybe this was Jasmine's own style? Hard to tell who influenced what, he couldn't imagine Vincent getting much say in decor...
"Alright, thanks," he said, stepping into the kitchen and trying to familiarize himself with new surroundings. He walked to the kitchen counter and looked at the stuff on it. Picking up a teapot he recognized as Hala's and looked at it fondly.
"I thought this was destroyed with the fire..."

Jasmine couldn't help but find it fascinating about how moved about the kitchen, looking at everyone with the curiosity and innocence of a small child. It was a little cute in several ways than one. When he found the teapot she was a little surprised he remembered it, but I suppose since Hala used it a lot that he would remember it.
"It was," she answered Andy, walking to look at the teapot. "This is Papa's. He saw this pot at the market and remembered how much mother loved it..."
Memories of her mother flowed strong in her mind as each word slipped out, she found herself leaning against Andy's masculine arms.

Andy shuddered a bit as he felt her lean against him, but he didn't push away or react in a way that would push her away from him. Instead he stayed there, pretending to look at the teapot as he was actually trying to settle rising thoughts in his head.
When we last saw each other it was almost a year ago...I never let her leave my thoughts for a year. Seems she has too...but now what. When we said our goodbyes, we were no longer friends...we still can't be simply friends anymore. Not after what was said and done.
He looked at the top of her head, seeing past her bangs to look at her face. It brought a little clarity to his thoughts, pushed away some of the doubts and perplexing things that roamed freely in his head. He set the tea pot down on the counter and wrapped his arms around her, mostly out of his own need to find comfort in the craziness of his mind. But he figured she would need his comfort just as much.

For Jasmine memories of her mother were soon overlapped by the sudden swoop she felt in her stomach, the feeling of Andy's arms wrapping around her was new and exciting at the same time. It wasn't just a hug of friendship, it felt more to Jasmine than any of the previous hugs have ever been. To her it was almost an award, for waiting for him for so long.
The year was hard to endure, her new friends had to leave taking away the man she had grown to love. Left with only a feeble promise from a god promising a return, but never saying to her when. Soon before she knew it a whole year went by her eyes, things changed, people changed, but still Andy had yet to return. But she waited...and even did more than wait.
She didn't say this to Andy, but there was another more personal reason for her actions against Ardeo. Because that evil thing of a man had intended on ruining something far greater than just her home: he had threatened Andy's legacy. The legacy he and the other Heroes from Earth had left behind, a free world...a world that was begged for since Trucido made himself known. She would never let some two-bit scumbag take away what they worked so hard for...what Andy nearly gave his life for.
"I'm glad you're here..." she whispered to him, even though he wouldn't fully understand the specific emotions behind the phrase...she needed to convey them to him.

Andy's inner battle with his feelings were thrown a monkey wrench with what Jasmine said, it may have been a simple phrase but the meaning he got from it made him nervous. He broke the hug and smiled weakly at her.
"Y-Yeah, I'm glad I'm here too..."
