Volkmar had return to Ingis after his fight with Vash. His aura had calm down, but he still was in his temper wasn't any better. He had came back to retrieve some of his lost items that he had forgotten when Sayara took him away from here. He really didn't care if he met his future pain in his ass, Incendia, he wasn't here to meet her.
