"My name..." Ave hissed from seemingly nowhere "IS AVE!" suddenly a hand reaches out from Aku's own shadow and gripped his ankle "Desugurippu!" he growled, his voice seeming to be from everywhere and nowhere. At first the magic did nothing but then suddenly the hand started pulling Aku's ankle in to his own shadow, slowly but surely, eventually if he managed to fully submerge him, his shadow would dissapear due to Aku not being there to cast it, but he would fade alongside it "Say hi to those bastard bandits for me!" he hissed as Aku slowly sank down.

"Ah!" He yelled as he was being pulled down into the shadows, a brief moment of panic taking over him as he sank deeper and deeper, until he started to glow, his entire body illuminating in a soft glow. "Let. Me. GO!"
He burst with energy, the wave of energy hopefully being enough to knock away Ave's grip.

Ave chuckled before releasing Aku's ankle and fading once more in to the darkness "Know this, the only reason I released you..." there was a slight pause, suddenly the shadows all around stretched outwards, forming a large black circle around Aku. Ave loomed out of the circle so he was stood in front of his opponent, blue eyes gleaming in the darkness "Is so that I can play with you some more!" the circle erupted upwards, a large dark sphere that suddenly engulfed the pair of them in darkness, literally no light at all pierced the bubble "Tell me something..." Ave hissed, his voice echoing throughout the sphere "Are you scared of the dark?"

Normally, anyone in this position would be freaked out, but luckily for Aku he remained calm and collected.
"Relax... your vision is only limited by the boundaries in your mind, I must focus."
He closed his eyes, remaining focused as he waited for Ave to make his move.

"What's this?" Ave asked with a sadistic chuckle "He's not scared yet?" Ave decided it was time to work his magic, with a swift movement of his hand, the oxygen inside of the bubble started to thin out "I must thank my brother for this little ability of mine, he has a remarkable ability for controlling air pressure" suddenly the air returned "Personally I think it's boring, I prefer psychological warfare, scaring the opponent to the point they actually want you to kill them" suddenly his blue eyes started to glow a few meters from Aku's face, then another pair just next to them, and another pair next to them. So on and so forth until he was completely surrounded by glowing blue eyes.

He lost air for a moment, and as soon as it came back he soon realized what his plan was... but sadly for Ave, he waited to long, Aku opened his eyes, they were filled with power and determination.
He rushed forward into the darkness, his body beginning to glow with power as he swung his blade forward, he power cutting through the darkness as he hoped to hit Ave.

Two of the pairs of eyes suddenly disappeared upon contact with Aku's blade, then as light flooded into the now cracked bubble, a hand reached out from the darkness and touched Aku's light bathed shoulder. Just behind the hand Ave's face leaned in to Aku's ear "You missed" he whispered with a chuckle before imbuing his free hand with dark magic and lunging towards his opponents back.

He turned quickly, getting a slash mark on his shoulder but still being able to swing his sword at the now exposed Ave. It had been his plan to lure him out, but sadly he hadn't expected him to be that fast.

Ave's eyes widened as he raised a hand up and grabbed hold of the blade, grunting in pain as the blade cut through his glove and in to his hand, dropping on to one knee he looked up at his opponent, a sickening smile spread across his face "Get..." he growled "Off... My...PROPERTY" with that he built a large amount of pressure between the two of them before releasing it all in one massive blast, aiming to throw his opponent out of the bubble.

"N-" he didn't get to finish his sentence, the air blasted him out of the bubble, throwing him into one of the trees.
"Ah..." he groaned in pain, pulling himself to his feet. Glancing down at his blade to see there was some blood on it, "So the devil can bleed..."
This was something of a renewed confidence as Aku prepared for the next attack.

Ave almost casually stepped out of the bubble as he looked up at his opponent "I'm going to enlighten you" he said with that same smile "You've proved an effective enough opponent" he stood still for a moment and then unzipped the long black overcoat revealing what was normally white leather armor underneath, instead however the armor was covered in black tribal shapes "Whilst I am a near physical embodiment of my rage placed inside my brothers body, I am something more. Because of my nature I am considered by many to be a demon, a shadow demon if you will" He pointed to his eyes "I can remember every and any shadow techniques that have been thrown at me in the past, the most prominent being used by the glowing eyed freak Angelus whilst we were part of the saints and my transportation via shadows by the self-proclaimed 'Knight of Night' I am a sponge my dear friend" he spread his arms out "NOW SUFFER MY WRATH!" suddenly he threw his arms wide, two large wispy black orbs appearing in his hands, pressing them both together the orbs doubled in size in to one massive orb, instead of speaking in a foreign language, he spoke in the common tongue "RAGE EMBODIMENT!" Suddenly the orb flew forwards, leaving a massive cut through the earth in it's wake.

He flipped out of the way, but barely, the orb was to fast to combat... and this battle wasn't going his way.
"I think it's time to retreat..." He yelled back to his ally before turning back to Ave, "We'll fight again sometime, Eli..."
He said 'Eli' again, he didn't know why, but it just came out. And with that he leaped out of the way, landing on a tree branch before leaping out of sight.

Ave forced his arms out wide again and the orb dispersed "My name..." he panted "Is Ave! Won't that go through your skull?!" he suddenly dropped on to one knee before growling slightly to himself, a growl that swiftly turned in to a laugh "Sorry brother, you're going to feel gods awful!" he laughed to himself before letting himself fall in to the back of his mind.
His head was pounding, like the hammer of a god was being continuously slamming against his temples "Gah!" he gasped gripping his head whilst the pain subsided slightly, looking at the massive groove cut in to the earth in front of him he guessed that Ave must have gone all out to force that guy to... Wait, where was his opponent? He glanced around, he couldn't see a body and Ave wouldn't have just left if he was still here. He must have retreated "I guess I should get back to the others..." he growled, forcing himself to his feet and looking down at his body, his white armor looked as it always did, white and nothing more.

Amadeus heard Aku running away, and sighed, "Looks like Aku is bailing. Sorry, but this is the end of Act One." He said as he glanced at Malice. "Sonic Blast!" He clapped his hands and a giant sound wave surround and erupted from his hands. With all of the leaves covering everyone vision, he slid into his own shadow, and caught up to Aku.
