Gensayce smiled slightly before gently touching his hand to Kara's cheek, the only problem was the cold of his touch.
In the real world out of Kara's dream Gensayce had gently moved Kara's head with his gauntlets still on so as to make sure that she was asleep comfortably, he decided that despite the news he would rather not wake her, taking off his helmet, cuirass and gauntlets and sat with his back against the couch she was laid on and watched as the fire flickered a reflection against his cuirass on the floor. He rubbed the back of his neck and felt glad for the simple thin shirt he had on along with his greaves and boots.

Kara shivered at the cold touch of his hand and when her eyes reopened she wasn't sitting with him in the dream anymore. She was sitting with him on the couch of the northern tower's bedchamber. It took her a moment to realize everything had been a dream, then another full minute to recognize his arms around her. "Gensayce? It's...it's really you! But...it was a dream! Or am I still dreaming?" The confusion was eminent on her face.

Gensayce simply held her a little tighter in an effort to relax her slightly "It's really me" he whispered to her smiling at the expression on her face "I've got some good news for you actually!" he added nuzzling against her neck with a big grin spreading from ear to ear.

She pinched her arm lightly and when she felt the sting her expression burst into an ecstatic smile. "Better then you being here? I don't think so!" Kara rested a hand on his neck and turned her head to kiss him. "What could possibly be better then this?"

He smiled before moving his face to the side of hers and whispered directly into her ear "How about knowing that you're going to be Queen of Ghiaccio very very soon..?" as he said it his smile grew even larger, he leaned back slightly to see the expression on her face, placing one hand against her cheek he couldn't help but chuckle slightly.

First the whispering made her shiver with delight, then when the words he was saying registered she looked at him with a joking smile. "Queen? Really? Is that some sort of modern world joke you're playing on me?" It was obvious she didn't believe him.

"Yes I'm just joking" Gensayce said, leading her on to believe that it was all just a hoax but he couldn't help but smile and laugh before kissing her "Of course I'm telling the truth! I decided to give the news myself than letting some random messenger have all the fun of watching your expression when you found out!"

This was way too good to be true. Maybe she was still dreaming? She looked away from him slowly with a look of suspicion and pinched herself again. Same small sting. "This...this is real...I'm going to be queen..." Kara jumped up and let out a loud and full of excitement shriek. "How? Where? When? Why???"

Gensayce couldn't help but raucously laugh, grabbing his sides as she jumped up. Trying to compose himself he wiped a tear away from the corner of his eye "Ahhh, I have no idea" he took in a deep breath and let out an equally deep sigh "All I was told is that you're to be Queen, I'm guessing you get to choose when you have the coronation and such" he shrugged lightly

She gave him a large smile. "Well I'm glad you're getting a good laugh from this! But there's so much work to do now...I can't believe this is happening! Who told you this news?" Her curiosity was peaked about how this all came about. Finally though, things were taking a turn for the better. She had a wonderful man to love her, and now she was gaining back a small part of her family's legacy.
