Volkmar didn't notice the paper on his forehead, only the damn soldiers, and Xiza. However, his vision was being obscured by a barrier trap on him, and as he shouted profanities he was sealed up with along his enormous dark aura.

"Roxa!" Alessia screamed as the seals vanished and Ave dashed towards Shade. She knew Roxa was in pain, unable to stop the demon from doing as he wished. So even despite that she rushed to try and stop Ave from going any farther.
"Ave, please!" She yelled, "Let him go!"

Ave simply laughed at the girls request "Oh really, that was rich, tell me another one." he said wiping a tear from his eye before placing a hand on her shoulder and forcing her out of the way "But please, at least wait until I have ripped this guys arms off, you can tell me all of the jokes you wish once I've done this one simple task"
Ave had practically no care or concern for Alessia's well-being right now, although he would not admit it, he knew that if he caused her too much harm, he'd just be provoking his brother back into control. And he didn't want that.

Multiple pillars of light slammed into Ave's hands and feet, preventing an attack on the Shade -indirectly- and pinning Ave in his place.
"Simple creature of darkness." the woman remarked, her eyes turning to Juno. "You...helped them...Juno why did you help them, they're our enemy."

Ave tutted "N'awww...." he muttered with disappointment "No fair..." he didn't even bother to struggle against the magic, instead deciding to wait it out. Looking up at the Shade he just kept grinning at his ideal opponent manically, as if trying to psychically tell him just how much pain he planned to put him through. After he had played his games with The Shade he turned his gaze to this woman's conversation with the girl who'd helped break him out of the cave "She was a big help to us!" he chipped in "Really, we couldn't have got this far without her!"

The Shade was nearly laughing, Ave was falling RIGHT for his trap.
"Exactly...she is a traitor. She had a chance to get the crystal, but didn't..." he said, "But I do."
He held up the crystal to her, bowing, "All for you, milady."

"Oh, that's weak!" Ave yelled shaking his head before laughing at the Shade "Really, that is super, super weak, I expected more from you. At least get her to undo me from this little mouse-trap she has here and let me rip your arms off. You know what, for being so weak, I'm going to rip your legs off too.. And then maybe swap them around, how would you like to walk around on your hands and punch people with your feet?" he was shaking his head again "So weak..."

Amadeus tightened his fist in his pocket as he heard Shade called Juno a traitor. He was smarter than to blurt out accusations in front of Claire, and get forced out of the guild.
"How did you get the crystal?" He asked The Shade.

"W-WHAT!?" Aku burst out, "Juno can't be a traitor, she's so sweet, she wouldn't do that to us!" He yelled while squirming, "Who are you!? I don't know you!"
He yelled at armor, "And your armor is scaring me! A-a-and I don't like scary things! SOMEBODY HELP ME!"

Ave gave a slight cough "Your group pet is having a fit..." he pointed out, nodding his head in Aku's direction "You might just want to check he's still breathing, or something... Hell, or don't! Either way's fine by me!" he shrugged and continued his relaxed stance. Allowing the enemy to continue their boring drivel, much to this Rage Demons distaste.

"I got the crystal the same way they were going to, only when they got here we had a...miscommunication, and a battle ensued. A magical trap got the Heroes trapped, but Juno here undid the seal for them." The Shade explained.

Vash looked downwards, shaking his head, cross held by the straps binding the cloth in one hand, the other holding his gun, ready to shoot, but not actively aiming. He looked back up at them.
He'd have to tread cautiously. All it would take would be for one to have heard the wrong stories, for one to recognize the vast energy that was coming from him...
He couldn't dwell on that now; better for him to be unbound now, and able to protect the others, than safe for himself, and helpless.
He noticed Kurai bind Volk's abilities, and nodded slightly toward the Ariadelventoan Knight, in thanks.

Juno's eyes widened in horror of the words the Shade was saying.
"It's not like...I mean I...Claire not all of these people are purposely in my way, I'm just...I'm trust trying to make sure someone is safe!"

Volkmar started to hit the barrier with his weapon, but with no result, his rage started to build up. He heard a crack coming from a barrier.
You hear that? Your rage is going to break the barrier from your enemies, and then you will be able to kill them! The voice said in his head.
Volkmar rage started to flare up, and cracked the barrier.
Sayara just watched both of the scary group, and Volkmar in extreme rage. "Vash, I am scared..." She said to Vash, as she squeezed his hand.
