A Sorta Fairytale (Plot Thread 3.3)

[Seth Dezari]

Seth had been acting very different since they made it to the cave, as Eli was struggling to answer the questions he wasn't impatient or angry. Instead he did something quite shocking, he walked up and patted Eli's shoulder saying.

"You'll get it one day."

[Kurai Horo]

Kurai nodded at Seth "He's sort of right anyway, there's few advantages to fighting in a place like this... I suppose the only one even I can see is that large groups of enemies would be channelled into a tighter space and make it more difficult to fight without them hitting one... Another..." his voice trailed off as he noted the size of their group in comparison to the space they have inside the cave.

He suddenly became very conscious of how cramped the cave was...

[King Roxa Hiaten]

Roxa noted the Lunar Knights point as he also became aware that this could possibly be an ambush, he edged closer to Alessia, ready to protect her if any attacks came their way. A steady breeze flowed from the inside of the cave towards them, letting the group hear any possible echoing footsteps ahead before the enemy heard their's.

[Vash, the Angel's Moon]

Vash also turned to Eli.

"Cave fighting's also difficult 'cause it gets difficult to move around in a fight. There's also the problem with navigation - and, for someone like me, who uses a ranged weapon, getting an accurate sight is difficult." He smiled. "However, everything that applies to you also applies to your enemy - and there's lots've places to set up ambushes on both sides. If you use the tactics of a situation to work for you, instead of against, they're not disadvantages."

He turned to Kurai. "Am I right?"

[Yeligar Maelstrom]

"You also need to know what kind of magic is good for caves." Yeligar said as he listened in, "I know you aren't a spell caster, but there are some magic spells that you need to be careful of and watch out for." He looked though the cave, and had a fun memory when Vincent and him stole some important ores from the Mines of Chalybs.
"Miss Juno, do you know how much farther til the crystal?"

[Kurai Horo]

Kurai nodded "All are valid points, you need to know your enemies strengths and their weaknesses!" he tapped his headband "I have a little bit of a cheat for that part, bu you also need to know your allies strengths and weaknesses. Per example, Vash is a superb long range fighter whereas I excell at a closer distance with alot of my stronger moves requiring physical contact!" He patted Vash on the shoulder "So he could cover me so I can get closer or I can hold back an enemy so he can fall back!" He was speaking with a sense of over the top educational zeal.

[Juno Runè]

"Oh hold your horses!" she yelled back, letting out a huff of frustration. "Men..."

She felt along the ice wall and found an indentation, where a new block of ice was created to act as a cover. She took out her knife and popped the block off, reaching her hand inside she found a switch and pulled on it. The wall began to shift and move, revealing a rather spacious temple room. With the ceiling about as tall as the huge ice wall they walked into, very roomy.

"See? I told you, leave to-" she stopped and let out of a short scream once she saw inside the temple.

[Everto Ferox: the Shade]

The Shade sat inside the temple, in his hand tossing about the crystal they were looking for, looking rather bored. Once the walls opened he continued his bored position and shook his head at them.

"What took you all so long?" he said with a chuckle.

[Kouji - Hikari no Shiro Okami]

"WHo the hell are you supposed to be?" Kouji asked sharply, immediately going on the defensive.

Weird guys in black armor with masks and dark chuckles were never a good sign. Ever.

[King Roxa Hiaten]

Roxa lept to the front of the group, both swords drawn and his cloak tossed to the floor "Finally!" he yelled with a grin on his face "I've been looking to settle a score with you! "Somebody ran away before we could finish our last fight and now it's time we got back to business!" He was eager to fight this guy again, the fight had been exhilarating, exciting, a feeling he hadn't felt in combat since he had been in the Saints.

[Everto Ferox: the Shade]

The Shade continued to toss the crystal about before the last throw, when he caught it, he held on it tight. Slipping it in his pouch.

"...Naaaaaah," he said, "Normally I'd love to Roxa, but I got priorities to deal with..."

As he stood up he tapped the spot on his full face mask where his chin would be.

"But...I would be persuaded...if you do one thing-" then suddenly, the sound of a sonic boom echoed and the Shade rushed past them all. His voice leaving an echo: "Catch me!"

[Volkmar Gamlxltoe]

"GODS DAMMIT!" Volkmar shouted as Shade rush past them. "BASTARD!" He started to give chase after him, with his aura flaring up, and his swords out.

[Alessia]

Alessia was as surprised as everyone else when they saw Shade waiting with the crystal, even more surprised when he took off with it.

She frowned, she was exactly the fastest person ever, but nevertheless she gave chase to Shade.

[Kouji - Hikari no Shiro Okami]

"Dammit," he muttered, standing at the ready, but not chasing after the black-armored boy. "There's gotta be a trick to this...."

He wished he could still get by on speed alone; he'd been the fastest of the Warriors, but that power was gone, now.

[King Roxa Hiaten]

Roxa rushed after the Shade, using his air pressure to propel himself to the front of the group... Right behind the Shade "I'm gonna' settle this once and for all!" he yelled after him as he powered forwards, both swords held out behind him as he slowly started to gain ground on his shadowy opponent.
