Twilight Night *Volk, Incendia, Tidus, Yuna*

[Yuna Kaname]

Yuna watched, surprised, as the arc hit Vash, toppling him over.

"Volk!" she cried. "What did you do that for!?"

[Tidus]

Tidus had nearly jumped when he heard that voice, familiar yet he was hoping she was still on Gaia and away from him. As he walked closer he saw his fears had been confirmed, he heard her yelling and found himself fighting back anger as he spoke.


"Volk's scared of Lady Incendia of course," Tidus spoke, "Rightfully so, but of course, too scared to say hello to a friend whose been gone for a year."

[Yuna Kaname]

That voice... she'd know it anywhere. Her eyes wandered to the top of the hill, where she saw him, and her heart hurt because of everything that had happened between them. She'd jumped in after him, but maybe she shouldn't have... at lseast now, she knew he wasn't crazy.

But then... when had she started thinking of him as crazy? When he had waltzed into her life, on Spira, she had taken every word he'd said as truth. Because Jecht had said the same things, and ecause... she really did believe him.

"Tidus...." sshe said.

[Incendia Presul]

Presul watched Volk and the others; Tidus and the woman who was with Volk knew each other, but WHO WAS SHE AND WHY WAS VOLK WITH HER?!
"What the hell is going on here!?" she yelled

[Volkmar Gamlxltoe]

"Oh boy." Volkmar said as he heard a 'lovely' tone of voice. "Hello, Incenda... Nothing is really going on here."

[Tidus]

"I wouldn't worry about her being interested in Volkmar or anything, her boyfriend would be awfully upset and she wouldn't dare do so." he spat, the venom in his voice nearly reaching a high poisonous level. He did turn to Volk though and his animosity for Yuna faded.

"Hey buddy, been a long time. How are you holding up?"

[Yuna Kaname]

She winced like she'd been slapped, which, in a way, she had. She looked away.

"I'm sorry..."

[Volkmar Gamlxltoe]

"Meh, You are talking to Volkmar Gamlxltoe here." He said as he pointed to his chest. A distinct scar could been seen from the opening in his shirt. "I have never been better."

[Tidus]

"Still fighting huh," Tidus said, looking over at Yuna. "Why is she here?"

[Volkmar Gamlxltoe]

"Ah, she is from your planet." He said as he glanced at her. "I could ask you the same thing, couldn't I? I thought that one woman died, and was unable to make portals."

[Tidus]

"Profeta..." Tidus whispered to himself, "I wondered that myself. But when I saw the portal I was so excited to come back...to leave Gaia... that I didn't think much of it."

It was in this thought that another thing came up, he had to test something. He held out his arm, his fingers curved in an oval shape. Then a flash of light appeared and Tidus's Brotherhood was in his hands.

"I knew it..." Tidus whispered, he still had some of the powers of Profeta's chosen. As he was thinking about Profeta and the Heroes he realized something. "Do you think the other heroes could have returned? Kouji? Kouchi? Andy?"

[Incendia Presul]

"It's possible..." Presul said, though she did not know most of those people anyway.
"I think the better question than who returned is why they are returning. Or how." she added.

[Volkmar Gamlxltoe]

"Meh, I don't want to question it." Volkmar said as he turned around, and streaked his hand though his hair. "Well, nice meeting y'all, but I believe it is time for me to leave."

[Yuna Kaname]

She watched them, talking; Tidus, asking about her; talking to the new woman and Volkmar, and he didn't even look at her, talked around her as if she weren't standing there, right beside them, listening.

A few years ago, she couldn't remember exactly how many, but at least four, she wouldn't have said anything, just understood his feelings and quietly disappeared.

But... she had changed in those however many years it had been. She was no longer Yuna, Braska's Daughter, High Summoner of Spira; she was Yuna Kaname, independent, stronger, a Sphere Hunter and SeeD; that Yuna was made of sterner stuff.

"Tidus..." she said. "I'm right here. The least you could do is look at me; ask me what I'm doing here. I also have a name, you know; you used to remember it."

[Tidus]

"Volk wait, come on man, take me with you." he said as Volk was preparing to leave. "I came back here just to fight alongside you and get stronger, I've even got stronger when I was in Spira, wait till I show you how strong I got, it-"

Then he stopped when he heard Yuna speak, he couldn't help though but picture the Yuna who loved him. But the harshness of reality took away that image.

"...Your name? No...it's not Yuna. It's Yuna Kaname, the Yuna I protected is gone. She went away a long time ago. Maybe it's my fault, that she did go away, maybe she just changed and I was still shocked. But eh, what does it matter." He stood strong and tall against her. "I don't know why you're here, but if you think I am coming back to Gaia then you are sorely mistaken."

He looked around at the plains of Crepusculum and breathed in the air. "I've finally broken free of the hold you've had on me. And I ain't going back."
