Tidus struggled against his bonds and forgot something, a year of being away from Allorum would do that, he summoned Brotherhood and the blade immediately sliced away the bonds. He landed on the ground but Cyrus was already out of the cave, he ran to Yuna and cut the bonds holding her.
"Come on we gotta move!" he said, running out of the cave quickly as he saw Cyrus drag her out of the cave.

– The Threat of KnowledgeCyrus looked up at the falling Volkmar Gamlxltoe...and smiled, keeping Incendia tight in his grip he moved around his slash and appeared behind him. He had dropped Incendia for a second, raising his hand up...and making a clenching motion. Incendia was lifted off the ground, a tight invisible force around her throat. "I wouldn't step closer...I may just apply more pressure than I should and snap her neck." he taunted, keeping his distance from Volkmar and the others. |

Tidus hesitated that second, her smile was meant to reassure him but it only sent a blast of sorrow. Nonetheless he nodded and they moved forward, just in time to see Volkmar and behind Cyrus hold Incendia in some sort of magical choke hold.

Volkmar growled as he looked at the old man. He put his sword in front of Yuna's guns. "What the hell do you want, ya old bastard?" He growled at him as he gave him a glare.

Cyrus continued to wear his smile, "I know a lot of things...I know that your home Ketulunanox was named after my home, our true home, Ketuluna. I know you are the Black Moon warrior, one of the few and only Lunar Knights remaining and one of great potential...if you weren't held back by weakness."
He gestured to Incendia still caught in his grip.
"I've done my research on you Gamlxltoe, and our leader has made it very clear that no Lunar Knights must interfere with her plan. And after I heard of you...you became on top of my list."

"... And you think I will help you out now?" He said as he looked at him, "This isn't helping me helping you." He lowered his sword from Yuna's guns, and pointed it at him, "And why do I even care to help you?"

"But Mr. Gamlxltoe, what I need from you is so simple..." he said using his free hand as energy built up in it. "I need you...
...to die."
Before he could fire his energy blast a bright blue Blitzball bounced off the cave walls and smacked into the hand that was casting the choking magic. Freeing Incendia from his grasp, Cyrus's eyes widened and he fired off a bright blue energy spell at Volkmar before leaping back.

Volkmar ran right at Cyrus as the Blitzball destroy the magic used for choking Incendia, and swung his triangular sword, to block from the energy spell, and then swung his black sword right at his chest.

Incendia stumbled a few steps after she was released from the magic, a bit dizzy.
"Okay, now I'm going to kill him!" she yelled as she drew her swords.

Cyrus lifted his hand and a black blade appeared, blocking Volkmar's slice.
"It's cretins like her and your traveling friends that will be the death of you," he said, charging another spell and pressing it against Volk's chest before firing.

The magic hit into his chest plate and sent him back. He looked at the chestplate, and noticed it was still intact, "I am too stubborn to die. You however, look like Death is just has been itching to get his hands on YOU!" He said, as he swung his sword, and produced a large black energy arc.
