A moment's encounter -Andy, Rutger, Amphion-

[Andy Jammer]

"How the hell should I know?" Andy asked, looking at the creature. "I've never seen this thing before."

He frowned as he looked around, "I just thought it was some territorial animal but...now I'm not so sure."

[Amphion]

"I believe that beast was infected with something for the other creatures following it didn't display this power," He held up the goo once more, "The question is that is this thing a natural symbiotic creature, or could it be a man made... a chance to study this is necessary."

He closed his eyes in thought before looking back at the two, "It seems I am in need of some type of escort to the nearest city. If it's possible I'd like to request the aid of you two."

Although Amphion had his magic fighting alone was not his strength, but having two sword man, one clearly powerful in strength why the other was extremely swift in his strike, if he had their protection he had no doubts they would make it to the city without harm.

[Rutger]

The swordsman stood still for a while, pausing in quiet contemplation. He considered the situation carefully.



"...It would seem that we do not know much about this beast. You wish to find out more... and you request the aid of my sword?"

The swordsman looked over at the sage. He had met Andy and Amphion under unusual circumstances... but at the present, he saw no reason to continue distrusting them. After all, they had seen through combat together, and they were clearly quite powerful in their respective disciplines. Perhaps, if he traveled with them, the swordsman might come closer to finding the true strength he needed to acquire vengeance.

"...Very well. I shall lend you my blade."







"My name is Rutger. I am a swordsman... and I will accompany you for the time being."

The swordsman half-ceremoniously crossed himself with his Killing Edge in a sort of wanderer's salute, then glanced over to Andy Jammer. The swordsman wondered if the warrior would staying with them as well...

[Andy Jammer]

Andy paused to think about how far the capital was and how long it'd take, he looked to Amphion and nodded. "Yeah I can take you there."

He turned to Rutger and nodded, "Rutger huh, have to say your skills with a blade alone are good. You and I totally have to have a match sometime."

[Rutger]

The swordsman nodded quietly. So, Andy was with them as well. it looked as though they would be staying together as a group for at least a while longer.

The swordsman turned to face at Andy Jammer.



"...You are strong. But it seems our views are different."

He solemnly held up his Killing Edge sideways, allowing Andy to see its full length.



"...My sword is for killing people. It is rare that I draw it with the intention of playing around."

The swordsman then lowered his Killing Edge and shook his head. While he didn't normally fight recreationally, the swordsman realized that Andy was powerful, and if crossing blades with him meant that the swordsman could become stronger as well... a spar might not be out of the question.



"However... we shall have to see."

The swordsman nodded and turned to look at Amphion.



"...Well, then. It seems we shall both be accompanying you."

[Amphion]

Amphion nodded thankfully at the two swordsmen, "I believe the nearest city is this way?" Amphion asked pointing north, it was a pretty long walk if he remembered correctly but nothing the three of them couldn't handle.

He nodded to himself as if he had just confirmed the directions, taking a step ahead he started toward the capitol of Crepusculum.

[Rutger]

The swordsman looked around. So, it was settled, then; this was their next course of action.

"...Very well. Let us move, then."

Wasting little time, the swordsman stepped forward and followed Amphion in the direction of their destination.
