A small city next to Shimmering Lake, and the bell tower rang 8 times. The town was bare, except for some people running in the street to get into a building.

One of the even fewer people who were not in a huge rush to get inside for the night was a very heavily-built, tanned man walking along a dirt road this cool evening. His cape kept him fairly warm as he looked around this crazy new land--this one was called 'Crepusculum'. He already enjoyed it, it was a place right in between the land of the dark and the land of light, a place where one thing could be another and you'd never know until it was too late.
It almost felt like home, this one. He chuckled to himself as he continued his leisurely stroll, taking in the sights and smells of the lake. In the distance he could make out a small grave by a road that ended abruptly, leading to empty space. Really, this was boring.
Ganondorf's eyes scanned a man ahead, unsure of what he was up to but willing to find out.
"Good evening," he started off simply, speaking out to him.

Volkmar had defeated a dark knight, and so he took his new helmet to use as a substitute for his missing hat. He had been traveling around with a woman named Yuna, and his fellow Moon warrior, Vash. When he heard the man talking to him, and he turned around, "Hello..."

Ganondorf stopped something like five feet away from the strange man, eying him suspiciously. The...helmet on this man's head definitely was something gaudy and hilarious-looking.
"Dear hunter sir--I presume you are a hunter what with the bear trap attached to your head that is--I'm looking for someone like a scholar, someone who is well-versed in information regarding the supernatural, the divine, and such mechanisms that can connect one to them," he spoke slowly but respectfully enough, "I know that may be a little overwhelming, though I hope you're willing to help."

"Do I look like a freakin' guide?" Volkmar asked the man, "Sorry, but you are looking at the wrong man." He then turned around, and checked the visor, I can't wait until I find my hat...

Ganondorf chuckled.
"Not at all. You look more like an inept hunter, which is why I asked if you could direct me to someone who actually does have some intelligence," he spoke superciliously, crossing his large arms over his chest and awaiting a more cooperative answer.

"Now why would I do that? I wouldn't want that more intelligence person to deal with a weak person who smells bad, is lost, and would forget anything anyone tells him. Sorry, I just have a policy that I can not deal with the weak." He said, as he turned his back on him.

"Says the fool who not only reeks of pond scum but has an issue with correct wording, 'Sir More Intelligence Person'," Ganondorf merely scoffed, "do you always make such baseless and brainless assumptions about someone who stops to ask you a simple question? I said nothing about being lost but rather asked if you knew someone with a certain expertise that I am requiring help from--clearly though you have the intelligence of a sack of stones so I can't see you associating with anything that wasn't a farm animal that was bludgeoned in the head beforehand."
He tilted his head to the side as he then added, "Not to mention your futile attempts to try to tell me I'm weak just so I'll fight you and prove otherwise is a very primitive thing for you to do and I've actually got work to do rather than deal with commoners. At least it makes sense now why you wear such a gaudy bear trap on your head."
Because really, to be an asshole to someone who asked if you knew of a person who was smart was really...well, that was it. It was fairly easy enough to get under Ganondorf's skin but not when he was clearly dealing with a moron - he saved his energy for someone worth it, usually.

"I don't want to fight you, like I said, I don't deal with anyone who is weak. So, you can go on shouting what you want because I am going to listen to you." Volk said to him, " I cannot waste my time with asses on such high thrones, who are just really full of crap. I have more important things to do, then to sit here and listen to an oaf."

As aforementioned, Ganondorf couldn't be bothered to waste his time with morons, especially ones who not only didn't know the difference between shouting and talking (which Ganondorf was doing), but ones who especially acted like an obtrusive douche-canoe for no reason whatsoever.
So basically, before Volkmar could carry on too long with being a blockhead, Ganondorf turned on his heel and left. He'd find someone who wasn't stupid to answer his one freaking question.
((exit: Ganondorf))

Volkmar looked around after the oaf left. Volkmar couldn't waste his time on someone that was weak. He was on a mission on his own, and if they couldn't help him, then he didn't need to interact with them. Volk walked though the city, but there was no one there to talk. "WHERE IS THERE SOMEONE STRONG ENOUGH TO TRAIN WITH!?" He shouted, then a black aura appeared around him and explode into a frightening image of darkness.

Andy was walking by at that time, having just left the Profetain Keep he was trying to find his way back to Hala's grave when he saw this massive black aura shoot out.
"What the hell?" he asked himself, walking over to where the aura was.

Volkmar was pissed, all of the guards were in hiding, and no one had the gut to challange him. "IS THERE NO ONE STRONG IN CREPUSCULUM?!" He shouted, "COME ON OUT, YOU COWARDS!!"

Andy stood from the ledge where this strange knight was yelling and screaming at challengers, he seemed familiar. Ah well, it's been awhile since he had a brawl.
"Hey you!" Andy called out, deciding to use his cleaver sword. "I'll take ya on!"

"Oh? Finally!" Volkmar shouted, as he turned to the odd looking kid. "Now, let's try to make this last as long as we can." He then swung his sword at him, making an arc out of lunar energy coming straight towards him.
