With a cautious, yet enthused step, I breech the walls of my portal, my foot pressing through first, only to find itself tapping blindly against the lush and verdant greenery of grass. Pausing for a moment, I pull my foot back and poke my head through to look around at my destination, giving for a small sigh.
"Well this is getting beyond ridiculous..." I remark as I gander at the surrounding flora and fauna of a small lake, before finally just stepping through. "It's still not the right location. Potentially it's this foreign world that's throwing me off, as I've never had such trouble pinpointing my proper exit before."
Giving my hands a quick flourish, I summon up my crystal ball, and, using a item I choose to "borrow" from my good friend Kaku, focus my energies through the affect so as to scry his location, but receive nothing beyond obfuscated and vague imagery from my glass sphere.
Placing my fingers to my brow, I breath a melodramatic sigh, before trying to refocus myself. "Well, it would appear that traveling by portal to my friend shall be of little success here. Perhaps getting accustomed to this realm for a bit will help me better orient my magics to their proper end," I monologue to my self, as I close my portal and give my cape a swift sweep to the side before turning around and preparing to explore the new and enigmatic land, for which seems have to attracted my long time friend and, inevitably, myslef as well.

Caramel was wandering around nearby, when she spotted what appeared to be another anthropomorphic being gazing into a crystal ball. She watched him for a few moments, finding it rather strange. Not only to see another anthro in Allorum, but to see one with Mageian looking attire, and a crystal ball at that. This would definitely require some further investigating.
Never being one for sublimity, she said a quiet chant in elvish, and morphed into the form of a regular household cat. With that, she scurried out in front of Wolfgang, and tilted her head to see how he'd react to her presence.

Taking not but a few steps into the new realm, I find myself confronted by a familiar inquisitive presence, that being of a small cat. Looking at the diminutive feline, it's hard to tell if the creature is domesticated or not. Provided that the small animal is, it could potentially lead me back to it's home, one most likely filled with this worlds native inhabitants who could help me gain my bearings, provided my potentially foreign appearance doesn't dissuade them somehow.
Seeing nothing of more help at the moment, I quickly imbue myself with a spell, allowing me to speak to the small creature, and present myself with a courteous bow and humble introduction, hoping that such pleasantries would gain me favour from the small mammal, along with its assistance.

Caramel couldn't help laughing at the spell he cast. "Save your energy." She stated, before morphing back into her regular form. "I belong to no one." She stepped closer to him, and slunk around him, to get a better look at him. "You know, anthros are exceedingly rare in this realm...." She began. "Where are you from anyway?"

I pause for a second, confused by the animal sudden transformation into a fellow anthropomorphic creature, and can only follow her movements with my eyes as she meanders around me, in her cat-like inquisitive nature.
Paying attention to her words, I find the comment regarding our kind being obscure in this realm rather odd, giving it the comments person of origin. Clearing my throat, I adjust the collar of my garbs and turn directly to the female creature and state, "I'm not from this realm, and I think I'll keep the specifics till I get a better sense of who you are, not that I mean anything offensive by it."
Taking a few steps back from the girl, I give her a clear once over, before continuing, "So, I've already introduced myself, albeit under false pretences, so would you not think it fair that I might learn your name?"

Caramel rolled her eyes. "Fine then, Mr. Suspicious. I'm Caramel. Caramel Rokkakyu. I'm not from this realm either." She looked back at him. She'd been revealing that fact to nearly everyone in Allorum she met, it was no secret by now. "You ever heard of Mageia?" She questioned, still trying to piece things together with this unknown person of her kind.

"Wait I minute...That can't be right, can it?" I ponder to myself as the petite girl introduces herself to me, finding it hard to believe that raggedly dressed female in front of me could, in any way hold relation to my somber friend, but such pontifications would have to wait till later.
Breaking away from my tangental thoughts, I come to focus on the fact that apparently this Caramel and I herald from the same world, and feel my heart give a small leap of joy within my chest. With unbridled enthusiasm, I lean closer to the small Rokkakyu and respond, "Absolutely! it's where I, myself, just came from! Amusingly enough, I believe that I might be looking for a relative of yours, one by the name of Kaku Rokkakyu. Would I be right in assuming that you two hold some relation?"

"Hah! I knew it!" She cried. In reality she hadn't really pieced it together, but she knew something was up. Secretly, she was also happy to see another Mageian here besides her family and best friend, but she wasn't about to state this.
"Oh, you're looking for Kaku?" She questioned. "What do you want with him? That little cousin of mine acts like my grandpa!" She then blinked, and grinned, in a somewhat mischievous manner. "Is he in trouble?" She asked eagerly, for some reason hoping this was the answer.

I couldn't help but give my eyebrow an inquisitive raise as Caramel continued to confuse me with...well, pretty much everything. Giving my head a slight shake, I try to put all that behind me and focus on what mattered, and that was tracking down Kaku.
"No, no, not at all," I reply with several waves of my hand. "I'm simply just wanting to see an old friend again, and am currently having some...er, difficulties navigating within this realm. But it really was a stroke of luck finding you, and, having done so, could you possibly lead me to him?" I request, hoping that my wishes would not fall on deaf ears.

"Yeah, its a common thing with other realms." She stated. "You can't create portals unless you know where you are and where you're going. You have to get familiar with your surroundings."
She eyed him, seemingly unamused, and began walking. "He's actually around here somewhere..." She said.

"Trust me, Miss Caramel, I'm quite well versed in the inner working of portals and their use," I remark with a slight sneer of confidence as I sweep my bangs out of my eyes with a flourished flick.
"But that aside, it would be wonderful to see Kaku again after all this time. I've got quite a bit of catching up to do, evidently," I talk to myself, eyeing Caramel as I follow behind her; questions running back and forth within my mind about my friend's short-statured relative, along with a plethora of other subject to catch up on.

After about 15 minutes of walking, Caramel came to a clearing, where various spellbooks and bottles of strange looking liquids surrounded the area. In this middle of this array, stood Kaku holding a vile of green liquid, while studying a spellbook diligently.
"HEY TIGHTASS!" Caramel yelled, causing Kaku to jump and nearly drop the vile he was holding. His ears had gone back, his glasses were now crooked, and he growled as he turned around to face Caramel, his fur stood on end, and his tail was puffed up twice its normal size. "Bloody hell!" He hissed at her, straightening his glasses. "I gave you very specific instructions not to disturb me and I'm greeted in a disrespectful, juvenile manner! Can't you follow such simple instructions? Good Lord, the moment I'm through with you, you bloody well won't be able to-" He stopped, spotting the other person who accompanied her.
"My apologies... I wasn't aware of our guest." He bowed in an elegant manner to Wolfgang. Although they were in the middle of a forest, Kaku spoke as though he were at home.
