The swordsman glanced over at Amphion upon hearing his words. Judging from what the sage has said, it seemed as though his were no ordinary confrontation. Given that the situation could change at any moment, the swordsman knew he would have to act cautiously. "...You know this person?" The swordsman kept a tight grip on his Killing Edge and fixed his gaze back upon the stranger. There was tension in the air, he could feel it. Out of the corner of his eye, he could see Amphion discreetly preparing something, which seemed to be yet another sign of an impending conflict. If things turned violent, the swordsman would have to act quickly.

"I...have no idea who he is." Andy answered as this person pointed at him, like Rutger, he could feel the tension in the air only build with each passing second.
"Who are you and what do you want?" he asked.

(Playing: Mysterious Figure - Yoko Shimomura (Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep)The cloaked figure lowered his hand down, then his other hand reached for something behind his back and pulled out a blade. He put himself in a fighting stance and without a warning charged at Andy, as he ran to him a small line of energy followed him as well, as if it was ghostly.

"Not much of a talker I see," Amphion quickly slipped out one of his book and raised his hand, "Not another step!" Amphion activated his blizzard spell and suddenly a barrier ice was placed between the group and Vengeance hoping to buy some time.
Sadly with the lack of information about any of his attacks Amphion had to make to with what little he had. "Spread out, I don't want us all getting hit with one attack. Considering how he charged us he must be very skilled with the blade so approach with caution and don't forget he has control over that goo!"
Taking a couple steps back Amphion pulled out a light green book and absorbed power from it causing the magic 'barrier' to go around his two allies, the power would be broken after a certain amount of hits (or a really powerful one) or if Amphion was attacked directly which would cause him to directly lose hold of the magic.

The swordsman saw the stranger draw out his weapon, and he knew they had a fight on their hands. Raising his Killing Edge, the swordsman braced himself to engage their attacker. - [The Prince's Despair]"...!" The swordsman, however, was not the target; the stranger rushed at Andy instead. He heard Amphion yell, and the swordsman was struck by how quickly the sage had assessed the situation and communicated this information - he made a note of the sage's advice and resolved to act cautiously. Feeling magic in the air, the swordsman looked around and realized that Amphion had enchanted Andy and himself with magic barriers, which gave them a bit more breathing room in the midst of the encounter. "...Thanks." After thanking the sage, the swordsman turned back to face their opponent. The swordsman decided against rushing blindly at the stranger; the group was not fully aware of their opponent's capabilities, and there was a possibility that acting too hastily could interfere with his teammates' attacks. Instead, he gripped his Killing Edge and circled around the stranger. The swordsman placed himself in a strategic position and prepared for his next action.

Andy yelled out and raised his blade to protect himself, but Amphion's ice wall held that up for him. Taking the moment to hear the strategist's plan, he ran around the side of the wall and launched an attack.
"Getsuga Tenshou!"

Amphion's mind was racing, this was the moment to keep the tide of battle to ever turning against them. Reaching for another book he pulled it out and began to draw power from it, and out from his fingertips fire began to fly out creating a massive vortex that raised itself over the ice wall and slamming down behind it with such fierce power the the ice wall broke into small glass like pieces that clattered against the pavement. Amphion was hopeful that with this magic and Andy's Getsuga he would be able to win the fight before it started.

The swordsman saw Andy launch his attack and Amphion prepare his spell. With their two-pronged attack, they should have a powerful offense. However, the swordsman was concerned that Amphion might leave himself open while casting his spell, and so the he moved to protect the sage. "..." The swordsman stood between Amphion and the shadow. He raised his Killing Edge defensively and prepared to intercept any attack heading his way.

The cloaked figure stopped at the ice wall, seeing Andy out of the corner of his eye and a powerful force slam against the wall he smirked...before leaping high into the air. Above Andy's Getsuga and above Amphion's attack, once he reached the peak of his jump he began to crash down. Once he got close to the ground his fist slammed into the ground and black tentacles shot out like arrows at Andy, Amphion and Rutger.

"Gah!" Amphion growled out at the fact that their shots seemed to do nothing to halt the man's advance, actually it seemed to speed it up. Without any time to use another spell he leaped to his side attempting to dodge the tentacles, he managed to dodge most of it but because of the force of the attack he was sent backwards into one of the buildings, causing the barrier spells to flash between useless and super powerful, it was as if it was going to implode.

The swordsman saw the figure leap to incredible heights. This stranger... the swordsman could clearly see that he possessed incredible power. "...Here he comes." Seeing the figure come back down to the ground, the swordsman raised his Killing Edge and moved to defend Amphion. He'd have to time this just right... "...!" Using his Killing Edge, he cut down three of the tentacles in one fell stroke. The fourth one caught him in the shoulder, and he stumbled backwards slightly, but he cut that one down on the upswing. "...Close one." For the most part, he seemed to have defended Amphion from the attack. Still, the swordsman remained in a defensive position in case the stranger had another trick up his sleeve...

"Oh shi-" Andy yelped as black tentacles launched out at them, he lifted his sword as a shield but the force of the blow sent him rolling backwards. He slammed against one of the building walls and grimaced as his back met stone.
"Damn...ow..." he growled, slowly standing back up. Growling at the attacker he noticed Amphion was hit too, the swordsman Rutger though, damn he took the attacks and backed them off easy.
Shit, he's got some skills... Andy thought before getting his game face back on, while the figure was getting up he rushed at him. Charged Getsuga Tenshou, but didn't fire it, instead he held it in his blade and struck at the attacker.

The attacker noted that Rutger was still standing from his attack and made to attack him next, however the Andy's shadow made him alert the teen was attacking him from the side. He also didn't see the Getsuga Tenshou charged on his blade, cause when he used his blade to block it the force sent him flying. Skidding against the ground it shot pieces of the stone walkway in the air and sent a cloud of dust as well. Obscuring him as he slid to a stop in the ground.

The swordsman saw the stranger lock onto him; in response, the swordsman raised his Killing Edge and braced himself. If they were going to clash, then the swordsman resolved to counter him as deftly as possible. "..." Then the figure clouded the air with dust, and the swordsman briefly raised his arm to shield his eyes. This change in conditions made things more difficult... though Amphion, who did not rely on sight, was probably unaffected by the change. The swordsman glanced back at the sage. "...Stay close to me." The swordsman remained vigilant, preparing to defend against an attack from any angle; he couldn't allow their opponent to get the other hand. At the moment, it was all a matter of reaction...

Amphion shook his head as he regained his senses, quickly stabilizing the barriers he got up and stood behind Rutger. Sniffing the air he could tell there was a mass amount of smoke in the air, "How troublesome, let me take care of that." He waved his hand and the wind picked up stirring up a rather massive storm that threatened to blow all four of them off their feat, thankfully Amphion knew exactly where Vengeance was and directed it to him why picking up sharp objects making the magic even more deadly.
