The Other Guys (Plot Thread 2.4)

[Kurai Horo]

Kurai followed suit, his book held in one hand and the other plunged in to his pocket "Hmm..." he mused "Just when you think things were getting interesting" he looked across at Kevin before smiling and waving the book at him "They just killed off one of the most anticipated fight scenes in the whole book!" he chuckled to himself before continuing with his reading. As he walked he held the book down low, near his waist and stared down at it, yet somehow he still never walked in to anything or anyone.

[Kevin Uruhane]

"Oh that book," Kevin smirked, "You know, 500 years ago there was a similar novel where the only difference was the female lead was actually the fiancee of the villain. Oh and writing style of course but that was 500 years ago."

[Kurai Horo]

"You don't say..." he muttered to himself as he was drawn in to the book once more "See, this book is too addictive, if I keep reading it and I eventually finish it, I fear I will have too much time on my hands to do actual work..." he said with a sigh before clapping the book closed and placing it in his bag "So Kevin, tell me of these heroes, we all know the story of the Sumata, but what brings them together now? And why the rush to find them?"

[Kevin Uruhane]

"Now isn't that a good question," Kevin remarked, "That's what troubles me...not only the Heroes have gathered, I heard there were some other Heroes...Heroes who weren't supposed to be coming back here just yet."

Kevin of course was referring to the Earth Heroes, Andy, Kouji, etc.

[Kurai Horo]

Kurai looked upwards, towards the sky "It's her fault" he muttered, barely audiable "The moon, the forces of Ketalunanox are growing in strength..." he looked acros at Kevin "Normally the Lunar Knights are a secretive group when it comes to our operations, and you are one of the few we happily serve alongside" his gaze moved onwards to the route they were taking "But tonight, tonight the Lunar Knights are going to need all the help they can get..."

[Kevin Uruhane]

Kevin didn't catch what he muttered, probably something he wouldn't understand, when he heard Kurai talking about Lunar Knights protocol he laughed.

"Oh man, I can't wait for you to meet Volkmar Gamlxltoe then..." he said, pointing to the gate. "lets get a move on, we got people to find."

[Kurai Horo]

Kurai chuckled "I've only really heard rumours about Volkmar, never met him in person, but I agree we should really get a move on" Plunging both hands in his pockets he powered on forwards towards the Wharf's in the hopes of finding both the Heroes and the Lunar Knights.
