Monthu was already on his feet, stretching, he was incredibly cautious when it came to warming up. He'd strained a muscle in the field once and it had served as a strong reminder to always take the utmost caution before he set off. Clipping the well to his belt, he nodded across at Bast with a smile on his face.
"Indeed! May as well get this over with!"

"Where did Ra want us to plant the thing again?" she asked, surveying the area. It was dark as only the late-night hours could be; the nearly-full moon was covered by dark clouds, but her eyes still picked up the faintest amounts of light.

Monthu closed his eyes in thought. "About... 20 paces South of the village... It's a popular fishing spot which is why it was best to wait until cover of night." He opened his eyes again as he looked across at Bast with a small smile. "Let's get moving!"
With that, he set off at a small jog, swiftly sliding over the edge of the roof, he gripped onto the edge, and let himself drop to the next story, before eventually making it down to ground level. Crouching in the encroaching darkness, he waited for his partner.

She dropped silently to the ground next to him, a thud that should've been clearly audible making no noise as her feet lightly touched earth. She tapped him on the shoulder to let him know she was here; with the darkness, she didn't even have to concentrate to be invisible. She'd slid the dress off to reveal (or not, as the case may be) a formfitting leather catsuit she favored for her shadier work, making her almost unseeable in the pitch-black of night.

Monthu suddenly had an air of professionalism about him. As soon as Bast tapped him on the shoulder, he gave a short curt nod and sprinted off like a released spring, barely traceable with the human eye. The clothing he'd been wearing was placed in a heap where he had been stood, and he was wearing combat boots, cargo pants and a leather shirt with an ops vest over that. When he'd changed or where he'd got the new outfit from was an utter mystery.
Moving in complete silence, he made his way towards the well site.

Bast was his even-darker shadow, her own air undetectable because she simply wasn't there anymore, as far as the outside observer could tell. She swarmed across the night, following Monthu to the designated spot, deserted, now, in the dark of night.
Too easy, she thought with a mixture of pleasure and wariness.

Monthu skidded to a halt.
Unclipping the well from his belt, he tossed it over to Bast, having developed a sort of sixth sense for her presence, whilst he pulled out a few components from his Ops Waistcoat. Clipping the materials together, he soon had a fully-functional bow, although it wasn't as powerful or effective as his proper bow that he'd left with the others, it would serve for the purpose of protecting the well site whilst they set it up.
Nocking an arrow, he turned his head to Bast and gave her a quick nod.
"Do it. I've got you covered." he whispered.

She began the process of setting the well, every nerve on high alert. Finally, after a period that seemed like hours but was probably only minutes, she stepped back and set the charge.
"Step back," she whispered, tugging him gently backward as she counted off the timer in her mind.

Monthu nodded, slackening the tautness of the bowstring and moving away from the site of the well, keeping his eyes on it as particles of light started to gather around the machine. He couldn't help but be somewhat intrigued by the power of mana, if anything he was a little jealous, despite the proximity to the mana well, he was yet to have developed his abilities any further.
"Any second now..." he whispered, now a safe distance away.

The pillar of light burst to the sky, tinted blue with the power of the mana flow, briefly illuminating Bast and stinging her eyes before dying down simply to 'intense' rather than 'blinding'. She felt the energy tingling across her skin, looked at Monthu.
"Well. No way Ra and Set missed that," she said brightly. "Let's scram before the villagers come out to see what's going on, shall we?"
The power of mana was amazing, to be sure. To think... so much light from... nothing. Just pure energy...

"Shi." Monthu said with a nod, lapsing into his national tongue, before giving his head a small shake with a chuckle. "I mean, Yes." He looked across at Bast and gave a nod before moving away from the light of the mana well and making his way towards the darkness...

She nodded back, moving out of the light and into invisibility once more, leading the way away from their victory...

Ra watched as the pillar shined, and he grinned, "Took them long enough, but at least there was no attacks." Ra said as he made the portal. He was about to walk through when something caught his eye. It was a ship with lights pointing towards the pillar. Ra stopped and turned to the ship, and looked at man on deck pointing. It was that blasted man who they fought in Alberisato.
"Damn, they followed us here... Set, fire your bazooka at them, we cannot let them catch us." Ra said.
Set nodded, and fired the bazooka right at the ship.

Yeligar was looking on the deck at the pillar. "Looks like we made it just in time... What the?!" Yeligar said as he saw the mana blast heading right towards him. Yeligar pulled out his lance, and the 5 blades hovered in front to make a sheild and took the blow. The shot disburse, and Yeligar ran to the front of the ship, then using his guard training, and wind powers, he jumped high into the air, and landed right in front of Ra.
"Ra, in the name of Allorum, I order you to stop this!" Yeligar stated to him, pointing his lance at him.

Ra stared at man, then he just laughed at him. "You really think you have any authority over me? I have heard about you, Yeligar Maelstrom. The former head of the Crepusculum Military, until you were M.I.A. then you were believed to be dead. You know run a militia to help protect the planet." Ra stated as he pulled out his sword, and smack the lance away from him.
"You still think that just because that you said stop that I would? I have a mission to complete and I will not have you stop me!" He then started to fight against Yeligar in a fencing manor.
