The Warlord and the Enemy part 2 *Yeligar/Isis*

[Yeligar Maelstrom]

Yeligar sat behind the helm of the ship, sailing it southeast towards Unda.
Right after the attack in Roccia.
Yeligar and the rest of the heroes got to the battle right as the recon team left. As Yeligar looked at the pillar, he saw Ramirez along some Chalybs soldiers riding behind him.
"They got away, didn't they?" Ramirez asked,
"Yes." Yeligar said unpleased.
"Well, at least I figured out their next place to strike, and luckily we should be able to be there before they are ready to set the next siphon."
"How?"
"It takes them 2 days so set up a siphon, so that the mana has time to spread out from the initial siphon, or else it won't jumpstart. We will head back to our ship and head towards Unda."
So, Yeligar was behind the helm to let the captain sleep for a while. He was preoccupied with sailing that he didn't hear Isis walk in.

[Isis]

Isis was bored in her room, so she walked up to see how Yeligar was doing. When she first walk in, she saw the plate of food with everything on it she deliver that morning was still there.
"Yeligar, maybe you should eat something." She said, nervously.

[Yeligar Maelstrom]

"No no, we need to beat them to Unda, so we can stop them." Yeligar said as he steer the boat into a large wave. "I can eat when we get there. Why are you up here? I thought you were going to lay down because you were getting seasick?"

[Isis]

"I'm fine now, and I wanted to talk to you." Isis said as she sat on the seat near Yeligar looking towards the stern of the ship. " I never got a chance to thank you for saving me." She closed her eyes and took the deep breath of the salty air.

[Yeligar Maelstrom]

"Oh that... That was nothing but a simple gesture in the way of the gentlemen's code. One must help out a woman in need." Yeligar said, "I protect people as a living and try to save them in any way possible."

[Isis]

"Still, you risked your life for me the enemy, and you healed me and helped me." She said, slightly blushing, "I don't have my memories back, but still, You are the nicest guy I have probably run into. Your wife must be proud to have you."

[Yeligar Maelstrom]

"I don't have a wife..." Yeligar said, "Like I said, it is my job. I always wanted to protect people from chaos, and even with an enemy, I always try to subdue them. I know that killing them is an option, but I will only do that in the most extreme situation." He smiled thinking of his job and duty. "You don't seem like the enemy type."
