Name: Daisuke Takemitsu
Description: Tall and sort of lanky, but well muscled. Almost a middle ground between giant and skinny.
Age: 18
Personality: Very relaxed, very kind, and very down to earth. Has a big Guardian complex, wishing to protect anyone and everyone he sees being bullied or antagonized. Some of the only times he is angry is when someone is bothering his friends. Will go berserk if someone he cares about is in great danger. Other that, he can be very fun loving. Has grown colder over the years however, as his life of fighting in the arena has dulled his heart.
Place of Origin/Home: Believes he was born in Chalybs, but dragged to Roccia at a young age. Now living in Silicis City.
Alignment: Neutral
Occupation: Hard to tell, with everything he does... Mercenary/Gladiator, Geomancer and Bard are probably the best to describe him. Born with Tarran's crest on the back of his hand, although he has no idea what it means.
Equipment: Always carries a stringed instrument of some sort.

Weapons: Two bamboo shinai, and occasionally his instrument.
Combat: Extremely skilled at direct combat from growing up fighting. Very unpredictable with his attacks, and often fights dirty. Adept at all forms of weaponry, although he prefers long-swords. Also very skilled at using terrain to his advantage; from knowing where to go and coming up with unpredictable attacks to literally using the earth as a weapon, forming new equipment and controlling the earth/rocks.
Magic: Geomancy and Golemancy. Casts spells through arm/hand movement and signs. With Geomancy he can temper with/control any earth-like material (dirt, rock, sand, etc), as long as it has not been too altered by man. In other words, weapons and personal possessions are off limits. Golemancy in terms of forming various beings made of rock and controlling them. Follow all orders, although sometimes too specifically.
Flaws: Heavy drinking habits due to his lifestyle. Sometimes too justified for his own good. Very stubborn about practically everything. His own Guardian complex can sometimes cause him to get in trouble or annoy his friends.
History: Born in Roccia, Daisuke's parents (with a baby Daisuke in tow) were kicked out after a scam they tried to pull in Silicis. They moved to Chalybs to lay low and raise Daisuke, despite him being born with Tarran's crest (which they often tried to cover up). In Chalybs, Daisuke became very close friends with Rin Tezuka, whom he believed needed his protection (she really didn't most of the time).
After Eight years of peaceful life, Daisuke's parents thought it was time to sneak back into Roccia with new names; and Daisuke temporarily became Takemitsu. From that point on, Daisuke was trained as a gladiator and was forced to be a part of Roccia's dangerous bloodsports in order to earn money for his family. He quickly became very skilled, and dominated the arena alongside his Father; at the price of becoming very cold and almost emotionless.
After eight more years, Daisuke decided that he had enough of his parents greed, and challenged his Father to a duel. After being nearly killed, his Father disowned him, and he was tossed out on the streets. Daisuke adopted Takemitsu as his last name (having forgotten his original last name) and became Daisuke once more, filled with a determination to self-preserve. He continued fighting, this time to earn money for himself.
Two years later, at the age of eighteen, Daisuke now lives a comfortable life, living in the barracks of the Silicis arena and earning a large sum of fight money everyday. He is determined to earn enough to visit Chalybs and see Rin again. To this day he has no knowledge of the world around him, or of the meaning of the crest on his hand.
