Rin... We must be going soon. Please wake up. Vash will be leaving soon...
Ryn's voice echoed in my head. I grumble, stirring in my sleep a little, before fluttering my eyes open. "Geuh...?" I question. I was familiar with where I was. But next to me was Aya. And draped around me was his cape. I give Aya my lifeless morning gaze. And I open my mouth to speak, but just sigh. That was too much work. "How long.. was I out?"

Aya's folded arms and propped up leg insinuated it had been awhile, but his smile down at her was that of not caring- "I'd say about a few weeks. But it's fine; I managed to keep all the threats away."
He smirked and then nodded down to her, his eyes looked a bit tired, "I don't suppose you remember what we were up to, would you?" He grinned and knelt down beside her to see if she needed anything.
To be honest, he had started to get bouts of sleepiness himself, the job was a lot of tension and stress at times.

"Weeks, huh? That's unfortunate... But it explains why I'm hungry." Yep. I believed him. It didn't matter to me whether it had been an hour or two weeks. "I was going to find a place for my painting... For everyone to see..." I nod, remembering for once.

Aya smiled and laughed- "Better than years or decades, no?" He seemed to smile at Rin, and sighed.
"Well should we get something to eat and then decide? Or vis a vis?" He stood up, watching her and closing his eyes soon thereafter, stepping around her as he readjusted his shirt; it had been a long night.
Actually, Aya's eyes were faded from a yellow to a more blue color- it was very faint to most people however; he turned around, and put a hand behind her to help her up since she still seemed dazed.

"Thank you." I calmly say in response to him helping. I usually would have said nothing. "...I think I want a donut." And I won't flip out this time. The first was almost embarassing... "While we walk, we can figure it out... I don't know where I want it." As I stood, the cape that had been draped over me that night flutters softly to the ground. "Oh. Hey. Your cape-thingy fell..."

Aya smiled at her with a hm-hm, as he blinked for a bit, "A ...dough...nut. I've never heard of them."
To put it simply, Aya's diet was mostly consisting of nothing with a side of survival instincts. He wasn't picky.
"Well then why don't we walk then-" before the cape had fully fallen, he swiped it up and around Rin's shoulders, closing his eyes, "and figure out what to do with this while we're at it. Would you like it tied?"
Aya's cape, it was aged, but still whole- he had a few things he always wore; his cape, his leather armor, his circlet- it was a trademark.
But he seemed more than happy to part with it, as he awaited her response.

"...I think I do. This thing is pretty comfortable... A nice heaviness... Would you mind tying it? I can't hold it up myself, you know..."
I take a step forward, making sure I was balanced enough to walk. My head pulsed a bit, but that was just me waking up. "Okay... There's this inn... They have donuts. Just follow me..."

"I thought you'd never ask," Aya smirked and twisted the cape into a snug knot, enough for her to slip on and off with ease, as he stood back after her stumble.
"...I have to admit, I think it looks better on you than it ever did on me," he nodded wholeheartedly, and turned back around; he let Rin take the lead, and followed her steps, making sure the town was in top shape all around as he did so.
Dual tasking- the more tasks, the better.
Though he had to ask, "..What in the many Gods' names is a donut??"

"...Aya. A donut is pure art. It's sweet sugar and dough in one delicious treat..." I could feel the energy building already. "It's a universal symbol of peace! Of Art! Of taste! Donuts could very well be the key to world peace!" While I never really laughed, I felt like I should have. So that sounded like a crazy girl preaching that donuts were some all-powerful entity.

Aya tilted his head for a moment as he rubbed the back of his own head..."..I still don't know what it is or what it tastes like..if you named most Allorum animals I'm sure I could tell you how they are.."
He nervously chuckled and had his hand behind his head, "I'll be willing to try one with you then! As...long as you are considering their taste...I guess I can see how a food culminates peace..."
Albeit in actuality, Aya pondered and looked confused- he didn't know what bread was beyond a normal loaf let alone different flavors, seasons, toppings, styles of cooking..he was a simple man when it came to food, as he followed Rin's lead- "At least make sure you're scouting areas..my interior decorating is about as reliable as my knowledge of donuts.."

"...I don't know where I want this painting." I comment. "I don't know of anywhere I want this that the public can see it..." I look around me with annoyance. "None of it fits the moon... It's all just... gray."
