The heroes were station at the town where the Mana pillar was out. Yeligar was in the hut with Ramirez, Isis, and Ma'at. Yeligar was watching as Ramirez and Isis were working on the machine. They were making notes of how the machine looks like before they took it apart. Yeligar looked over at Ma'at, then back at Isis, and Ramirez.
"Anything yet?" Yeligar asked.

Ramirez looked behind him at Yeligar. "Nothing yet. There are 2 knobs to set this what appears to be like a timer. Other than that, it seems pretty standard ." Ramirez said as he looked around, "It doesn't seem like a bomb, or a standard one..."

Gensayce had his spear slung behind his neck, his arms wrapped around it almost as if he were tied to the weapon to constrain him. He stood silently with his eyes closed, simply listening to the others speak, this was their domain and not his, he had little to no clue as to how these wells worked. It would be best for him to simply stand back and let everyone else take care of these things.

Isis was writing on some papers about the device, looking at the spiked bottom, and the smooth machine. The only thing truly odd was at the top there were grooves on it, making perfect lines.
"Hey, Ramirez, what do you think these grooves do?" She asked as she looked at the more closely.

Ma'at looked over, ever since the encounter, it seemed she could not talk as much, slowly walking over to the others and feeling the device, shaking her head, thinking it over.
She felt a finger along the grooves, following it along, as she coughed a bit, and then turned back to sit down at a table- she wanted to do more but sadly she felt she was only good as a fighter; even then, she wasn't all herself.
Ma'at sat back near Yeligar and gave him a soundless sigh.

"I don't know, but I will see if I can open it up." Ramirez said as he took a hammer and a fine point chisel an placed it were the lines cross each others. He tapped it once, but it didn't open. He hit it harder, but it still didn't open. He did it a third time, and this time there was a click, making the machine open. Inside there was a bowl with a glowing white liquid, and a sigil on the bottom.
"Aha! So there was a mana storing sigil!" Ramirez said, then when he grabbed the flaps, then felt a groove. He looked at it and saw markings on it.
"Huh? What is this?" Ramirez said, as he started to draw it what he saw on the flaps on to pieces of papers.

"What is this glowing bowl right here?" Isis asked as she pointed to the glowing bowl. When she did, the liquid started to ripple, then there was a shock and Isis jerked back. She then started to look at her finger.

"It appears to be mana. Something to use as a catalyst." Ramirez said as he started to draw and try to link the sigil on the flaps up. When he was done, it didn't look right.
"It's too cluttered..." Ramirez said, "They way they overlap each other is too chaotic... Beside with the mana, it should have already activate it... Wait."

"What if these are branches off of the Sigil to make a Sigil array?" Ramirez said, as he drew the trap sigil from inside, on to a piece of paper. He finished the markings, and then his eyes widened at what he saw.
"...X=4!" He said to himself, "I was wrong. I know what they are doing. They are making the pilla-" Ramirez couldn't finish his sentence, for a staff with a pointed tip had stab into his chest.

The staff that stabbed Ramirez was in Isis' hands. "I remember... I remember everything." Isis stated, as she pulled out the staff from Ramirez, and let it hand at it's side, then she turned to Yeligar and walked towards him.

"Isis, What are you doing?! STOP!" Yeligar said, as he was reaching for his lance, he looked at her. Isis looked like she was about to cry, and he didn't pull his lance out, as Isis stabbed him in the gut, and moving it from one side to the other.

Isis didn't answer Yeligar, but she stuck out her hand and fired a large ball of lightning towards Gensayce, and then she walked over to Ma'at.
"Come on, Ma'at, we need to meet the others." She said, as she reached out her hand, "I recommend coming, because they might kill you for this."

Thanks to the attacks upon the other two, Gensayce had time to react. But it wasn't enough. The lightning ball was aimed at his chest, and if it hit him near the heart, he'd no doubt be killed. Leaping to the side, he took the bolt in the shoulder, falling onto the floor with a cry, his body giving the occasional spasm of pain.
