Metalpolis, one of the largest cities in Allurom and a beacon of the very industrious nation of Chaylbs, its tall buildings and inhabitants were the pride of the steel nation…
And currently a fair amount of buildings were lit up like a tinderbox as the streets below it were quickly engulfed in a riot. What caused this senseless act of violence?
Know one had an answer for that question, but for the entire week the people of the industrial district were on edge, as if something was tempting them to light that first match.
Imagine a bug on the inside of your skull, crawling around your mind causing an uncontrollable itch in it, no matter how long you scratch for that feeling never goes away…
Now times that by ten and you’ll get the feeling of what these people were going through, the temptation to lash out in violence was unstoppable… and on the last day of the month they struck, plunging the district into a violent riot.
This was no random event, no new pandemic or just the result of man’s inner behavior, for it was the act of something very powerful staying in the city. Something with great evil pushes its influence onto the people around them, controlling the weak mind.
This type of evil is not normal and for the longest time this type of evil was stored in a vault that towered all the way up into the sky, a vault known as the Tower of Salvation. Currently that great evil watched the acts of violence from their comfy spot above it all.
“It’s so pretty!” Yelled what appeared to be a young woman; her long orange haired draped down her light skinned and mostly bare body to her bare, dirt covered feet while her wide, dark tinted eyes were lit up by the fire below.
She looked over her shoulder; those wide, dark eyes darted between the streets below and the person standing behind her. She smiled before calling over to the person, “Don’t you think so?”
“I think it’s very bold of you…” the person spoke back, the shadows around the person made it too difficult to see what it looked like, “I believe this will attract the wrong attention, however.”
She frowned before pointing at the person and yelling over to him, “You’re such a spoilsport! What’s the point of being free from that tower when I can’t even enjoy it!?”
“And that’s what ‘Greed’ thought…” The person shook their head, stepping over to the woman and briefly peering over the ledge. He was silent for a moment, watching the people below senselessly attack one another, “Have you considered my proposal?”
The woman was caught in wonder as she watched two men pound each others head’s in, “Hm… oh, well… maybe…”
The person frowned before stepping away from the building edge, understanding the fact that he was not going to get any answer out of her, “I’ll check back later, perhaps...”
The person stepped to the other side of the building before turning back to the woman, “Watch your back, my dear, this act will certainly alert it. If it finds you, your demise will follow swiftly.”
She barely even listened to him, simply nodding. The person shook their head before taking a single step off the building… than vanishing into the air below.
The woman’s eyes never left the crowd below… a smile stretching across her face before she spoke out.

“What a Wonderful way for my Demise.”
