Brea almost seemed to melt into the room, completely un-noticed where he could help it, and politely evading conversation where he couldn't. Believe it or not, he still hated things like this. He'd arrived somewhat late to tell the truth, but it was quite the story to tell... At the gates he'd told the President to go on ahead whilst he checked the security was solid, forever being the cynic that he is, then when he tried to get up to the palace he'd found that some of the... Well... Lesser women of the City found a man in armor rather attractive, and he'd had to run for his life.... Or rather, his modesty. Finally arriving at the palace, he was told that by being somewhat late, and not being anyone of note, he wasn't allowed in.
Finally getting inside when some kind gentleman pretended that Brea was his personal bodyguard (After Brea explained who he really was) he was briskly walking up to Benjamin's side, where he instantly matched his speed. He was rather out of breath, truth be told as he gave the President a smile and a nod, his armor clanking as he moved alongside him.

"You look like you could need a drink..." He said looking over Brea, who seemed to have just gotten out of a viscous fight or something. He motioned for a drink to be brought over, "No complaints, you can sober up if I'm in trouble. Just enjoy yourself for now." He said while shoving a glass of wine into his hands.
He waved his hands, "Now go drink and find a pretty girl."

"Attention, everyone! My granddaughter is looking for a rich spouse!" A cackling old woman's shouts echoed in the ballroom. Annabelle Fraus was one who loved to make an appearance, that was for sure.
"She's right here! Look at her body! She's got a good brain in her, and she's so beautiful you'll forget she burnt your dinner! Apply today, must be rich, have a house, and have a ten inch--ACK!"
Annabelle was quickly muffled by the hood of her robe being pulled over her head by said granddaughter, Jasmine.

"She's not looking! Everyone ignore her!" Jasmine shouted shortly after 'escorting' her grandmother into a corner to yell at her.

"H-hello, Miss Loque, right?" Kouichi asked, staying out of the way of the argument, then moving back closer after she was done. "I-I'm sorry, for not saying anything before..." His tail nervously twitched back and forth. "We've only met briefly... it's a pleasure to meet you now."

The guards at the gate quikly parted to let me pass, and I shrugged my shoulders uncomfortably, resettling my newly-reshaped cross across it. A group with as much controversy and intrigue surrounding them as the Lunar Knights of course were allowed a delegate to the ball, if not more - and, as their de-facto leader, as well as... well, who I am... Kurai and the others had decided to send me. Possibly themselves, but...
Well. Me.
I looked somewhat out of place in my new red coat, with the odd, scythe-like new form of my cross wrapped and peacebound at my back when weapons were discouraged in the presence of so many kings.
I looked around... there were still a few here who I needed to meet with. I spotted Brea looking lost and started moving in that direction.

And of course Vincent burst in through the door acting like he owned the place. He knew the palace well enough, he'd been in it many times before and served under the former queen for a few years before being transferred back to the Ignian navy as he'd been wanting.
Now it was just weird coming to Crepusculum. Climate change was hitting him again like it had the first time he ever stepped off the ship in Naghtundtag. Of course that was also back when he'd met his first wife...memories he didn't want to get into.
...Already did. Time for a drink or six. Without even properly announcing himself he bee-lined to find someone to get him a rum or rye or something heavy.

Turning her attention away from her ridiculous grandmother Jasmine smiled again sweetly at Kouichi.
"It truly is a pleasure. I'm surprised at how many of you from Earth have come back to us, hopefully to stay," she said, though she could count the amount of Earthen heroes she'd encountered since they'd been teleported back to their homes on her one hand, "I hope you are enjoying your stay in Crepusculum, it really is a beautiful land."

"It's definitely not what I'm used to," he admitted with a little bit of a nervous smile. BUt he was starting to relax.
"Then again, neither is Nerezza, and I'm living there for now..." He chuckled. "It really is a beautiful world, here."

Jasmine nodded.
"Nerezza in its own way is a very beautiful place. The darkness found there isn't a normal, hopeless one, but it's own enchanting one...it's that magic that gives Crepusculum the glow that it does, I think. That magnificent mixing of the kingdoms of light and dark create something so mesmerizing..." she giggled, "listen to me blathering, though. Have you found yourself a drink yet, sir?"

"He doesn't drink alone, and he certainly doesn't drink unsupervised!" a sharp, authoritative voice snapped loudly in Jasmine's ear. Towering over her was the six-foot tall red-headed bitch snarl of a woman herself, Captain Lana Princel of Nerezza.
To the point, loud, and scary--that's how she liked to come off as. She didn't like leaving Kouichi alone, he tended to get distracted by something that could have the potential to hurt him. Sure, the girl here seemed sweet enough but it was always the sweet ones that put poison in the food. ALWAYS.
"Beat it, blondie!" Lana growled again for good measure.

Jasmine jumped at Lana's initial blurting but surprisingly held herself calmly as the redhead continued to bark at her. She only vaguely remembered Lana from her never-failing-to-start brawls with Andy and knew that she was one uncouth woman who really did mean what she said, her threats weren't empty when she promised to hurt someone.
"I wasn't imposing anything, Captain Princel," how could Jasmine ever forget the name, "just friendly conversation."
Stick to small sentences, straight to the point, and be assertive. Lana scared her once before but it wasn't happening again.

Andy growled at Annabelle's advertising and was beginning to chalk this party out as another disappointment...until he saw Lana Princel...and his eyes lit up with that mischievous battle nature.
"This party just got a bit more fun." he said to Leah, sitting his drink down and standing next to Jasmine crossing his arms and glaring at Lana.
"Well well...look who it is. I see you're still the same." Andy said with a battle-desiring smile. "Couldn't imagine you wanting to take part in such a drab party..."

"And I'll impose my foot up your..." Lana was stopped short by an eyesore of carrot-coloured crap approaching, loyally standing by his lady's side like a good little puppy. She narrowed her eyes at Andy and pursed her lips, trying not to look annoyed.
"I see you're still ugly. I don't do parties like a fancy, prancin' little lass in a stupid dress. I'm here solely on business," she spoke roughly towards Andy, hands sitting on her hips and nice and close to her precious longsword sheathed by her side.

"Business huh..." Andy said, his hand flexing as well to go for his broad blade on his back. "Business for Elexa? Or her husband Zelos? I heard the two kingdoms of Nerezza and Guasto are united now..."
