He'd called his inner circle together into the circular meeting room in the top floor of the Damas Commodities skytower, a newly-built skyscraper that would permanently change the Los Angeles skyline; he'd made sure of that when the building plans were drawn.
He was a man who liked theatrics, Aaron Damas. That's why the massive office chair in which he sat sat on a raised dais; the table at the center of the room was low, allowing him to look down at anyone who sat there, making the room somewhat reminiscent of the medieval throne room.
At his side stood his most loyal, most trusted bodyguard. Before him were spread the rest of them; the hacker and the woman and the thug and the soldier and the businessman.
He smiled.
"Well, then... we appear to all be assembled...?" he asked, his voice pitched to carry, the aural dynamics of the room created just so to make it echo and reverberate slightly.
Yes, The Man enjoyed theatrics, indeed.

That most loyal bodyguard, was Erro. He stood almost like an obedient dog next to his master, but his eyes were rooted firmly to the ground before him, his hands held behind his back. He occasionally scuffed the ground with his boot. When Aaron spoke, Erro suddenly perked up and coughed awkwardly into his fist before raising his hand half-heartedly.
"I-I'm here... Mr. Damas... Y'know... as always..."

Theodore stayed to the back of the room, quiet and observing, arms resting on the chair - not leaned back and relaxed, but not firm and tense, a position that rested in the middle - patient and alert. Calm and waiting, just simply there to listen.
"Why are we here?"

His eyes flickered out across the room again, and they'd lost their charming touch.
"Because this operation has been compromised." His gaze settled on one figure. "Kondo... what do you have to say for yourself? Most of your team dead, two defected, and the Other Side now aware of our activities... Do you have any idea of how royally you've screwed up? I thought I could trust you with Falcon Recon!"
He sighed. "I should've sent Erro in your place.... at least he knows how to get a simple job done."

"O-oh... I don't know about th-that... Mr Damas..." Erro pointed out, twiddling his thumbs as he looked across at Kondo sheepishly, the other man intimidating him slightly...
"I mean, I m-might have... M-maybe killed the defectors, b-but that's it... H-honest!" He chuckled nervously. "Yeah, I'd have killed them... Real slow... So slow, they'd have been begging for me to end their lives by the time I'm finished." His voice was becoming more of a growl. "Now that I think about it, Kondo. You did screw up, didn't you?! Haha!" He coughed into his fist.
"W-well, a little bit, at least... Hehe..."

Terence sat in the chair on the far right for a very simple reason: the right was always the right place to sit.
In all honesty he really hated meetings. They were formal enough that he was expected to show up and sit still for a certain amount of time--not that he couldn't, he just didn't like it. But as The Man would have it, he did as he was told and at the moment he was enjoying listening to someone in trouble with the boss.
Except for the part where the boss was unhappy. This, simply, made Terence unhappy.

"Hey, You told me that I just had to make sure that the mana wells were set up. I wasn't their leader, it's not my fault you sent a mad former Brigadier to lead the mission. Honestly, you could have ran a better Psych evaluation on him. He caused their deaths and betrayals." Kondo said as he adjusted his sunglasses, "Don't think that I don't care. I have a lot of money in this too. As for the other side, they aren't a threat. They are stuck there, and we can siphon the mana without them interfering."

Anthony couldn't help but sneer with self confidence as he glanced for a moment at Kondo.
"Don't worry Mr. Damas, no one could have possibly foreseen the incompetence of Kondo and his insubordinates, oh sorry, I meant subordinates." He smirked for a moment as his deliberate slip of the tongue. "I would be honoured to have a chance to educate him on how to lead a team successfully on a mission."

"Still, you should have handled it better." Paige said as she looked at him with a confident stare. She adjusted her angle so that it seem that she was more in her chair. "You could have done a better job, and not displease Aaron."

"So boss, I assume you didn't gather us all here just so we could degrade the guy." Anthony shifted his attention back to Mr. Damas, his one eyebrow raised and emphasizing how curious he was about the meeting. "If I had to guess I'd say it's because you need your most trusted and skilled employees for this job. Do we finally get to do some field work, because I swear I'm going stir crazy in this place if I have to stay cooped up one more..."
Anthony unfortunately was unable to finish his train of thought as in that very moment he couldn't help but notice his jaw clicked every time he opened it. It was maddening, and yet he couldn't help but open and close it over and over again out of sheer paranoia.

"Oh-ooh..." Erro said with a nervous chuckle as he heard Anthony's jaw click, flinching slightly at the sound.
"U-..Um A-anthony..? A-are you okay..?" He asked sheepishly as he seemingly shrunk backwards away from the other man.

Terence sighed listening to everyone argue back and forth repeating over and over again it was one guy's fault and it needed to be fixed. He didn't care, he just wanted something--or someone--to beat up right about now.
He pulled out his cellphone and tried to play one of the games on it in boredom. Upon finding that his thumbs were too big to hit the right keys and properly, he found himself growling. And shortly after that, the blackberry curve that he held raised above his head at the table so everyone could see him smash it effortlessly into tiny pieces with one hand and let out a frustrated snarl.
He then tossed it to the side and folded his arms, huffing as he waited some more.
