Name: Kazan
Description: {Refer to profile picture}; Kazan is a tall and muscular man, with the physique of a man who spends a lot of time exercising and working on getting stronger. This is quite an odd statement given that he dressed so flamboyantly, with most of his outfit being made up of tiger pelts, furs and bird feathers. To keep with this animal theme, Kazan himself seems to have almost monkey like features, but he also seems smiley and pleasant, an expression that can become one of utmost seriousness when the situation calls for it. He has hair tied in a ponytail that falls down to the small of his back.
Age: 22
Personality: Kazan is warm, friendly, approachable and if anything a little bit naive and innocent. Don't be fooled though, he is intelligent and serious when he needs to be, but he sees being like that as a drag, and hates having to mope around taking things as seriously as necessary.
Home: The Open Road
Alignment: True Neutral
Occupation: Hermit/Allorum Guardian. (Explained in his History)
Equipment: N/A
Weapons: A very very large Odachi called Wareme. The sword is about as tall as Kazan is and incredibly heavy (an average man cannot even lift it). To carry the weapon around would be tiresome, so Kazan instead tosses it into the air, and it just happens to land when he needs it, this being a testament to his intelligence and forsight. Of course, sometimes he guesses wrong and the weapon occasionally drops from the sky early, but never late.
Combat: He's a good swordsman. A scarily good swordsman given the size of his weapon. He will use it sheathed as a blunt weapon when he isn't aiming to kill, and he will unsheath it when things get too serious. Pray you're not in his way when they do.
Magic: Kazan constantly warns others of his use of magic. He tells them he has one magical power, but he never uses it for fear of causing any collateral damage. It is rumored that this is one of the reason's he is so isolated by the other Allorum Guardians.
Flaws: He is rather naive and easily led astray, and his power can be difficult to control when fully unleashed.
History: Kazan grew up with his uncle Toshiie, who raised him very much like his own son, in Ignis. He taught the young boy how to fight, how to be polite, how to fend for himself if he was ever left alone in the world. The kind of skills that will become useful for a young boy when he grows into a young man. As the small Kazan grew older, Toshiie realized that the boy was actually surprisingly strong, being able to hold his own against his uncle despite the massive experience gap between the two.
Toshiie worked the boy hard, he thought he may actually be able to pull an extraordinary warrior out of the child. And he wasn't the only one to think it. When Kazan was 12, he was scouted by the Allorum Guardians who were curious in the local rumours about the local Ignian boy who wielded immense power. Toshiie initially refused the AG agents access to Kazan, whom he wanted to live as normal a life as possible, and he got violent towards the pair who had come to talk to Kazan. The agents defended themselves and ended up wounding Toshiie, sending Kazan into a rage. Some locals remember the incident, some don't after it was swiftly swept over by various different agencies.
Only one proper account of what happened survives, Toshiie's own. He explained to a close friend what happened later on, simply because he couldn't bear the burden of keeping the secret to himself, his statement went as follows.
"It was scary, Mait. It was terrifying. I attacked those two with all of my might, my combat trident in hand, and they batted me aside like I was nothing... Then I heard a cry from behind me, and there was little Kazan, stood there with this look of pure rage and anger on his face... It was like nothing I'd ever seen before. The agents tried to calm him down, told him they had been defending themselves, I said the same... I knew something bad was going to happen but I couldn't stop him, nobody could at that point.
I still don't quite know how he did it, or what it was. His body just started crackling with a pink lightning, almost like a storm of cherry blossoms, it was... It was beautiful... Then Kazan did it. He shouted out 'You won't hurt Uncle Toshiie' and then he did it. He ran towards the pair and he punched the one in front, gods... I feel so sorry for that man. Fire just poured out of Kazan's fist, that's what it looked like, just a stream of molten lava that washed over the Guardian, then it ruptured outwards like a gout of flame... Imagine it... The spread and lightness of a fire attack, but with all the destructive tendencies of molten lava.
There was nothing left of the two after Kazan was done, and I was lucky to be alive. The whole forest in front of him was destroyed, and that wasn't it... The two closest villages just disappeared off of the map overnight, funny isn't it..? How the tables can turn on people like that..."
After the incident, Kazan and Toshiie moved to Ketulunanox, but they were followed... By The Mentor himself.
The mysterious figure pointed out to Toshiie that the boy was no doubt volatile, and needed to be trained. Toshiie agreed, he couldn't help it, and he knew that Kazan was most definitely going to be in good hands with the Allorum Guardians... He just hoped that the boy would still be the peace-loving, innocent little kid that he so loved. He hoped and dreamed that Kazan wouldn't change...
10 Years Later...
Toshiie got lucky.
Kazan grew up to be a powerful young man, who still loved peace and was sweeter than candy floss. He's completely oblivious to almost everything in the world, including women, which is quite ironic given how he grew into a rather handsome man. Only one issue came from his training, and it suited Kazan just fine; he was very volatile, his innocent nature led him to becoming too passionate in battle, and the Allorum Guardians didn't want to risk the same collateral damage from ten years ago, so he lives as a hermit. Wandering the world, he is only called upon in desperate cases...
Desperate cases such as these current days.
