Alessia took the cloak in hand, "Thank you Nia..." There was one slight problem though, her beautiful white wedding dress? It had to go.
There was a soft white glow that covered Alessia's body, and in a mere moment the white dress began to turn to ashes, falling onto the floor like snow flakes. It was a shame, but she had no time to take it off. The sooner she got away the better.
After slipping the cloak on she looked at Nia and gave a weak smile, "I'm ready..." Her heart felt broken and with every step it cracked further.
Before she left she turned to the table, placed her hand down on it and raised it back up. Leaving three flowers made purely of light, floating right over it. One for each member of her family.

Nia almost cried again watching her friend burn away her dress and even though she wasn't told specifically what the flowers were for on the table Nia could only guess. It was like in a fairy tale book, except this was far more heartbreaking.
Nia bit her lip again and nodded as Alessia confirmed she was ready, her fellow Saint reaching a hand out to her as she approached the door.
She sighed. She opened it and then pulled the other woman through the door. They had to move quickly.

As they moved through the hallway and into the open room Alessia tried to have one last look at her family, yet the large crowd made it impossible to see the three. She only stood still briefly before letting Nia lead her the rest of the way out. She wondered if she'd ever see them again, but truth be told? She hoped not.
Within minutes they'd be gone and in ten minutes it'd be impossible for them to be located in the massive crowds that covered the city today.

Nia held Alessia's hand tightly as she scurried through the crowd. She kept quiet, only pausing every couple of moments to see if her friend were still set know doing this. As Alessia's face never changed, Nia knew her answer without having to even ask the question to begin with. The main doors were seen, their last obstacle before the castle grounds themselves. Nia gripped Alessia's hand tighter and quickened her pace.

Just as they entered the castle grounds rain started to fall onto them. It was just sprinkling down on them at first, than it began to turn heavy and everyone started to move faster in attempt to get out of the rain.
It worked to Alessia and Nia's advantage, the rain obscured them even further allowing them to slip past the overwhelmed guards. The last obstacle in their way was a check point at the gates. Alessia was worried that they might question the fact that people were leaving the party and if they did, they might recognize Alessia.
"Once we get past here I can vanish..." Alessia said while looking over at Nia.

By the pits why did no one tell me how much these humans made each other sit and do nothing while waiting for this wedding? Perhaps it is so that the weak die from boredom and allow more food to be had by the remaining. Do humans die from boredom? Odd, perhaps when I get back to Ariadelvento I shall have to find out. The Other had grown impatient in his seat and decided he wasn't going to wait another moment. He needed some fun dammit, and fun was going to be had.
It was then that a familiar scent caught his attention, the scent of something musky and bold and familiar. Curious to find it's source he followed the pungent aroma till he arrived at last beside a familiar face.
"Yeligar! It has been far too long hasn't it?" The Other extended his hand around the shoulder of the man smoking the cigar that had aroused his interest. "Still puffing away on those things? You know if you keep up with those they'll kill you before I get to." He let out a loud throaty laugh.

Zeke opened his mouth as if to say something in response to Alexander, then stopped and closed it before he could tease anymore. Much as he would have enjoyed giving him one more prod Zeke did have to remind himself that there were appearances to be upheld, especially when so many eyes were on his King.
"Come on boss, we should go say hi to the King and his kids. Might help to smooth over that first impression. Besides, did you see how cute they are?" Zeke was already out of his chair, looking back and forth from Alexander to the kids with an eagerness in his body language that he made no effort to hide.

As the two women fled from the castle, the guards before them did the one thing that they had probably hoped for, but also least expected. They parted, not because of their coming however, but for the two men who had made their way towards the castle. One was noticeably smaller than the other, and only appeared to be young, and the taller of the two was significantly so, with long brown hair which he had yet to cover given that the rain had only just started.
Alessia ran right into the taller man, full force. But was stopped by his hands against her arms as he chuckled.
"Oi..." He chided with a grin. "You need to slow it down, lady! You'll end up falling over running about in this rain!" He smiled down at Alessia, completely oblivious as to who she was. From his position, he was the only one that could see underneath her hood. He let her go, and the pair continued on their way.
"Sorry sir." One of the guards said. "We just need to ask that all large weapons are left outside." Kazan simply nodded, and held up three fingers, slowly counting them off. As soon as all his fingers were down, a small whistle could be heard. The Allorum Guardian raised his hand, and a huge Odachi fell into it. He grinned as he rested the blade against the wall which the men were guarding before looking across at Enzio.
"Shall we?"

"I'm a Knight of Roccia and an Allorum Guardian, the weapons stay with me." Enzio said walking right past the guard. He was in soldier mode, he carried a presence of power and command as he walked... despite his size.
There was something distinctly different about Enzio though, it was the armor he was wearing. It was probably one of the finest armors in the land and on the chest was a signal, the Allorum Guardian signal. Because martial law had been declared all the troops were now in armor, their presence was to be known. He glanced behind him, there were a little over a dozen other troops with him. He waved them forward, "Follow me, but be respectful... we're about to crash a party of a very good friend of mine. Let's not anger him further."

Andy had sat down for the ceremony when he noticed someone strange several seats ahead of him, this person was wearing several bandages around their face. Tufts of blue hair stuck out at odd spots, which was almost in perfect match to the teal colored coat the person was wearing. The person's head turned and small eyes from slits in the bandages looked at Andy, they met eyes for a moment and Andy felt a strange shiver down his spine...

"Oi... Lemon-face... Since when was crashing a wedding 'respectful' in any way, shape or form..?" He asked, picking up Wareme, and slinging the weapon over his shoulder, holding it in one hand like some sort of toothpick. He looked up at the castle and gave a sigh, he'd passed through Roccia not too long ago, just before the rebellion, and he had to hand it to the Roccians... They knew how to make a castle... As the pair continued onwards, he thought about the woman he'd bumped into... Something didn't feel right about her... He couldn't place it.
He adjusted the small necklace around his neck which was adorned with the sigil of the Allorum Guardians.

Post by King Roxa Hiaten on Nov 15, 2012 17:39:59 GMT -5
Roxa hadn't really managed to get around to anyone, which was rather depressing, especially considering that one of King Alexander's Captain's looked fit to burst over the appearance of the two babies. But still, this was his wedding, not a baby shower... There would be plenty of time afterwards, when he was a married man, after all! He moved towards a large double door, where the ceremony would be taking place. The guards who were dressed similarly to Gensayce moved up to Roxa and formed up alongside him. The ones flanking either side took little Goti and Olivia and headed off, leaving Roxa's hands free so that he could clap his hands, gathering the attention of the others with a smile on his face as he watched his children leave.
"If you would all be so kind, as to join me in the Throne Room? The ceremony shall begin shortly, so you may wish to get into your seats now whilst you can!" He grinned around the room as he turned and entered the room, specifically asking a guard to go and make sure that Alessia was ready. With that done, he moved forwards and took his place alongside Gensayce at the front of the room.

"Ah yes, King Other. It has been a really long time" He said as he puffed on his cigar. He looked at him, and said "I would rather have these kill me than you. Now I believe it is our time to sit for the wedding." Yeligar turned around and walked to sit in his seat.

"Oh now Yeligar it's just a joke." The Other didn't let the chipper suaveness in his voice falter one bit. "After all, what makes you think I would kill the man who made my freedom possible? Besides, between that smoke in you and your age you'd hardly make a tasty meal." He gave Yeligar a little playful nudge in the shoulder as he walked with him to the throne room.
"So anyways, you look like you know what's going on with this whole 'wedding' process and such. Maybe I'll tag along with you. I can learn all about this silly human concept of yours so I don't make any faus-pas, and you get to keep an eye on me so that I don't do anything...drastic to stave off my boredom." The Other's voice deepened into a seriously dark tone for the last few words.
Of course it was only a joke. Still, more fun for him to know and for Yeligar to find out. The Other narrowed his eyes into thin little yellow slits, and the faintest crack of a smile appeared on his otherwise featureless face as he looked at the Warlord.

"I guess. Make sure that the wedding doesn't end with an attack or something." Yeligar said, as he put out the cigar and put it back into his cigar case. The last words didn't scared him, but he did fear for the other guest's safety. He wanted to act friendly, but with how Scarth's life ended, The Other isn't one to be taken lightly. He sat in an empty section, and make sure that The Other had room to sit next to him.
