Name: Lysolette "Sol" Volkanon
Description: A tall, statuesque woman, standing above her father in height at 5'10. Thought slender, she appears gaunt and muscular, giving her an almost amazonian appearance. Her face commonly holds a serious expression, even when at rest due to her naturally sharp eyes. Like her father, her skin is a dark orange hue, while her hair is a bright and pristine white, accented by hues of red and orange at the tips, making her ponytail seems almost like fire caught in a light breeze when it wafts back and forth. Her most notable feature for those meeting her for the first time is her arms and legs, as they appear like molten lava, seemingly constructed out of deep black rocks with fissures running throughout, giving way to bright currents of stilled magma. Garbed only around her chest and waist, she wears a two piece dark burgundy garb, specially woven from fibrous obsidian and accented with moulded ore of the same.
Occupation: Fire Spirit and martial artist, Queen of Ignis
Age: Appears to be around 21
Personality: Lysolette, thought feminine at heart, can come across as rather curt and temperamental. Quick to anger, she commonly relies on her father words of wisdom and techniques to try and combat her natural aggression, something she has only gotten better at with time. Having grown up around nothing but the spirits, Lysolette has seen the incredible efficiency and unity that they possess, and has internalized it as evidence that spirits are superior to humans. This has of course caused Lysolette to have a rather mixed standpoint on her own lineage, and has her caught between her Fathers teaching to help suppress her natural destructive nature, and her inborn heritage as a Fire Spirit. Raised on her Father's teachings, Lysolette, carries herself with grace, etiquette and honour, rivalling that of most royals, thought her tone and word choice tend to give away her lack of a wholly noble upbringing. Still on the subject of her Father Teachings, Lysolette operates on a slightly skewed version of her father ideals, taking it as "Might controls everything" as opposed to her Father's belief that "Might protects everything."
Alignment: Lawful Good
Equipment: Nothing but the clothes on her back
Magic: Born from the combination of man and Fire Spirit, Lysolette possess a much more powerful and refined form of pyromancy, simply by birthright alone. Thought not as technically experienced as her Father's brand, the sheer raw power that she possess makes her pyromancy of a much more fearful sort, and even now, already rivals her Father's in most respects.
Combat: Having been guided by the experienced hand of her Father from an early age, Onyx devised 2 martial stylings that taught his daughter to better control the raw power at her disposal. The first being one he dubbed "Tausend Schnitte," a style based around swift swiping strikes, agile movements, and deflection over blocking. During Tausend Schnitte, Lysolette excites and superheats the particles around her fingers, giving way to extended blade like creations made or raw heat. The second style at her disposal was dubbed "Große Telien," a style based on large sweeping strikes, guard-crushing force, and stalwart blocking. During Große Telien, Lysolette superheats the particles either around her own arms, making superheated gauntlets capable of melting objects as such rapid speeds they almost appear as if they've been sliced, or superheats the particles extending from her hand, creating a blade capable of cutting through air so quickly that the trial of the tip can make a whip-crack in the same manner as lightening does.
Relying more on her fathers teachings then genuine ingenuity, Lysolette possess only a few techniques that she can call her own:
Air-Wave Punch: By burning all the air in a given space, Lysolette can create vacuums of force, emulating her father's ability project his Ki in unidirectional strikes. Lysolette however can cause these strikes to emanate anywhere that her Pyromancy can effect, allowing for attacks anywhere around her opponent, be they at their side, from above or elsewhere.
Thunderclap Punch: Following the same principle as her Air-wave Punch, Lysolette burns all the air in a sphere around her opponent, causing the forces that be to fill the created vacuum and hammer her opponent in an omnidirectional wave of force. Missing her opponent with this causes the air to clap together in a sharp sound, thus the name of her technique.
Flaws: Thought anything fire related only serves to feed Lysolette, cold, ice and especially water can be a quickly debilitating factor, doing notable damage and taking a serious tool on the the girl's fiery form. Combat aside, Lysolette's lack of social interaction and at times elitist disposition can serve to only further alienate her, making it hard for her to make allies and personal friends.
As Lysolette's looses her focus on martial maneuvers diverts to move bestial strikes, usually employing more destructive pyromancy to serve as a balance to the lacking finesse. Experienced warriors can take advantage of her lacking power when she's focused and her lacking technique when she's gone more unfocused to twist combat to their favour.
History: It was said in legend that the Volkanon family gained it's frightening pyroamncy from mating with the very elements of fire themselves, and thought such tales have sunk into the realm of myths and superstition, it is indeed true. So true that Volkenon himself took to finding a bride amongst the Fire Spirits that lived within the Master Volcano Atoll, taking one by the name of Brindell as his unofficial wife and eventually giving birth to his daughter, Lysolette.
Thought young and perhaps still naive at the time, it perhaps worked in Onyx's favour, as he raised the young girl, in secret no less, with all the love and wisdom that he could, taking any moment he could from his duties to go and "train" within the volcano, so that he might be with his beloved wife and daughter.
Lysolette, even as a small sprite before she could even take a more human form, was taught all manner of philosophical wisdom, mantras to live by and tales of great wisdom by both her father and mother. As she grew exponentially, Onxy helped to calm her rage and anger and instead did his best to teach the young girl to best it herself thought martial training, meditation and lessons on etiquette.
Though young, Lysolette remembered her father fondly, even more so as his visits became less and less. Eventually came the time when Onyx's visits seemed to stop completely, and in her curiosity, Lysolette could only ask her Mother if she knew why. Unable to contain her sorrow any longer, Brindell informed her daughter of her Father demise at the hands of Trucido and the Sumata, traitorous Kings and Queens determined on bringing the world to ruin for their own gain.
Brindell, having been a trusted confident to the King for many years, could only give Lysolette one person to see if she sought the revenge that she knew her daughter would.
"Seek the King called Seigmand Dezmar, for he is the only man your father ever called 'friend'."
Hellbent to avenge her beloved father, Lysolette did what she thought would give her the best chance to find out about her father and do honour by his name; reveal herself and take her place as ruler of Ignis. Making her way into Ardeo City, it didn't take long for Lysolette's appearance to draw attention from not only the citizens, but the High Council that governed many of the happening within Ignis.
Loyalists to the Volkanon family, and believers that the lineage was sacred to Ignis and it's rule, the High Council all to readily placed Incendia back to her position as Captain and placed Lysolette into her rightful place as Queen as Ignis, ushering the return of the Volkanon family to power.
Inspired by the return of the Volkanon family to the throne, Ignis was once again hopeful for it's future, and Lysolette all to ready to begin her reign and use all at her disposal to find out more about her father, and exact revenge on any deemed responsible.
