"THIS IS SO AWESOME!"
Eli ran around the deck, looking at every facet and corner of the ship. Apparently just tickled that this ship had shot out of the water and came to life nearly on its own.
"It just burst out of the water! And the cannon fire it just went....oh man this is cool!" he ran around the deck, grabbing one of the ropes and hanging from it overlooking the sea.
"You said going under." Juno spoke to Mark, "What did you mean by that?"

Mark glanced back at Juno, his face remained stoic as he looked at her. He sighed before shaking his head, "You'll figure out tomorrow, Juno. Just rest for now..."
He started walking towards the captain's quarters before stopping and glancing up at the sky, "The sky will be clear tonight, it'll be beautiful. Enjoy the peaceful moment..."
...It won't last for long... Mark thought as he entered the room and shut the door behind him.

Once the ship was far enough out to sea, and the anchor had been dropped, Zaria ventured onto the deck. Using hand signals, she gave more commands to the water that surrounded the ship.
With her signals- water jumped up onto the deck of the ship and solidified into stairs, which she briskly stepped up to get to the mast. Once she stood on the ship's mast, the water jumped back over the edge of the deck, to reside in the ocean once more.
She took a seat, and stared off into the distance, deep in her thoughts. She was aware that morning came quickly, but she knew she wouldn't be able to sleep at the moment anyway.

Yeligar watched as they finally got out to the middle of the sea. Yeligar decided to smoke one of his cigars, figuring that it might one of the last time he will until this situation is completed. Yeligar pulled out his cigar case and pulled out one of his cigars... just to see it drenching wet. "Damn..." He said as put them back, hoping that they would dry before the morning, he walked over to Mark and stared out to the ocean, "So Mark, this mission, you never said where we are going. Is it something that is better for us not knowing now?" He asked admiring the ocean.

"We're at war Yeligar," Mark sighed as he glanced over at one of the cigars before picking one up and cupping his hand around it, "Sometimes it is better to leave your troops in the dark, for to be able to sleep properly? That's a kind of healing that can't be replaced by bandages or magic. They need it."
His hands started to glow lightly and in a moment he slipped the cigar out and handed it to Yeligar, it was now completely dry, "Everyone will come home after this, one way or another."

Yeligar grinned as he grabbed his cigar, and lit it up the end, "'Don't burden your soldier's mind with facts that they don't need to know. It might harm them more than the battle.' It was the second thing I was told when I became captain of the Dragoon cavalry." He then puffed the cigar, and looked at Mark, "That is all I need to hear, have a good night." He then walked away from Mark, savoring his cigar.

The quiet of the night was interrupted as it were, by the faint flash of something golden gleaming in the distance, out of the blue high in the sky. But soon, so very soon that twinkling light grew brighter as it came towards the ship and so fast that in the blink of an eye the entire middle area of the deck was surrounded in a blindingly bright light and accompanied with a ship-rocking THUD!!! The light disappeared as quickly as it had come, leaving in the middle of the deck a very young woman who faintly glowed in the night, knelt in her dramatic landing pose as she looked around the ship she'd just landed on. Her hair was blonde and incredibly long, done up in a ponytail that reached low past her knees. As she stood her eyes were shown, ruby-coloured orbs sparkling. She stood with a sword sheathed at her side but her hands empty, used to straighten out her short skirt over her leggings instead. She glanced around eagerly, trying to see who was all on the deck with her. Seeing a few people, she spoke. "Amai hare ma ve so uglegozer for vu tonomit!" her voice rang out loud. It was her way of saying 'I come in peace don't shoot me' but she wasn't sure how commoners would take it, her master said that most people in Allorum wouldn't understand a thing she said to them.

Zaria's thoughts were interrupted by the sudden motion of the ship. Startled, she shifted quickly, and leaned down, seeing this sudden burst of light appear from nowhere.
Once the light had subsided and all that remained was what looked like a young girl, she commanded the water to come to her and made it solidify as she had done previously- this time into a swirling pole of ice, which she'd slid down and jumped back onto the deck. The water returned to it's home once more.
She walked over to the young girl curiously. "Hello there?" She asked, not understanding the words that had previously escaped the young girl's mouth. Zaria was not sure if this unexpected visitor was a threat or not, but she was curious all the same.

Post by Brea Cao-Wei on Dec 17, 2012 1:05:06 GMT -5
Brea had been stood leaning against the railing. Staring out to sea, he had been thinking of lost friends, the people who had either fallen in combat or succumbed to illness. Unlike most in his situation, he gritted his teeth and smiled, fond memories of those he had lost running through his head. Arm wrestling with Crasa, hunting with Esen, reading (Blades he'd hated it) with Quentin. His reverie was interrupted by someone landing on the ship, attempting to communicate. Twisting around, his hand reached for the hilt of his blade, and with a soft click, the first inch of the blade slid free, responsive under his hand.
He watched with caution as Zaria approached. She seemed to have come to a similar conclusion. In Brea's eyes, no enemy would try communicating, or take such a posture. He noted the sword at her waist and realised it would be drawn if they were planning on killing anyone. He slid the steel back into it's scabbard, keeping his fingers touching the hilt as he also took a few steps forwards, not asking any questions. He didn't want to overwhelm the poor dear with a barrage of demands.

Shanira turned to Zaria, wide-eyed and tilting her head to the side as the girl spoke to her. She understood 'hello' as some kind of greeting, and as such assumed all must be safe.
"Giretzivah abanamie," Shanira spoke a lot softer, looking over Zaria's features. The blue woman was pretty!

Mark was warn out and ready for any and all surprises to just go away. But when the massive thud slammed into his ghost ship Mark decided to put off sleep to see what had just happened.
The door flew open and Mark marched out, "Okay, which one of you did THAT?" He questioned as he looked around, but he didn't have to look far, the lady who had just yelled something like 'I come in peace' caught his attention.
It took him a moment to realize that she was speaking in a angelic language and causing something of a mass confusion. Mark stepped up to the lady before clearing his throat and speaking, "Nobody is going to shoot you. However, I do require as to why you're here, you don't seem to be one of my men..." To everyone else, Mark was speaking gibirish but to Shanira it all sounded clear, "My apologies, I should introduce myself before asking your name: my name is Mark Fri and I am an Archangel of this realm."
He left out the entire light god Solaris thing but really, what's the point of scaring the girl?

Shanira, upon hearing an authoritative voice speak her own language, whipped around and threw every bit of her attention towards Mark in excitement.
"Oh, lovely! Master said he didn't think there'd be anyone else in Allorum who would understand me! Mark Fri, you please me so," she gave a short bow in respect and smiled up at him kindly, "I am Shanira, and I have come on a mission for my master. I am looking for someone. He is here."

Master? Mark thought before shaking his head, "I do apologize, Shanira, but there a many men here and as their commander I need to know what you wish of this man... you wouldn't happen to have a name, would you?"
Mark laughed to himself, he wondered which guy had a good looking-angelic-speaking girl looking for him... or who had a friend who OWNS a good looking-angelic-speaking girl who was looking for him, at the least.

Shanira gave a coy smile, turning her head away as though she were holding some amazing secret that was too good to share. She knew what she had to do, and she knew she wasn't here to hurt anyone. But now how to word it...?
"I am looking for Zeke. He has a message," Shanira said as she reached into her belt and pulled out an envelope, a nicely-decorated one, and one she showed Mark for all but a moment before she shoved it back into her pocket, covering it with both hands as though her life depended on it. She gave him a playful giggle.
"It is from my master. It is for Zeke, but it is only for him! Is that acceptable, Commander Mark Fri?"

Now that brought questions as to how connected Zeke was, but there was a time and place for questions... now wasn't one of them.
Mark gave an over exaggerated bow and motioned over to the Santo-Lucian Captain, "He's all yours, lady Shanira." He looked over at Zeke and gave a smile which meant something like 'You lucky bastard', "Hey, Captain! This pretty lady here wants to speak to you!" He jutted his finger back to Shanira before giving a small laugh and finally stepping away for the two to speak.
