How-do, guys! Jordan here!
I need some help, some volunteers if you will! For a while now, I've been looking into getting some screen capture software (I've tried the free ones, but they normally can only record 10 mins of footage) in order to start a YouTube channel based around gaming. So firstly, I'd like your opinion on which software to use, what you use if you use any, pros 'n' cons etc.
Secondly; I need other people! No-one likes one person on their own... So it would be wonderful to get some people into the same server and a Skype call and just generally have fun. We wouldn't be doing let's plays or reviews, we'd just be having a jolly good time, that's all! You wouldn't need to make a channel of your own, but if you already have one, wonderful!
Thirdly; This only really applies if people want to get involved, but what games would we play? Obviously, people have budgets, so free games or games we're all planning on buying would need to be a must, and it would need to be something that everyone can run on their PC/Laptop. Again, suggestions would be handsomely accepted!
Fourthly?; Channel name! I haven't decided on this yet... So your input would be wonderful! What could I call my channel? It has to be something recognisable so preferably lacking in numbers and other confusing characters. Remember, this is my mantle and the name I'd go by, so it has to be something that I can agree on!
Fifthly? (Geez..); Let's say that by some dark voodoo magic, the channel takes off and gets a few hundred subscribers. What do we call our fans?! Every YouTuber has a mantle for their fans. Bros, Procrastinators, Audience etc (I am all of these myself). These are sometimes related to the YouTubers name, but not usually. What would we call ours?!
That's it really... Feedback would most definitely make me feel warm and fuzzy inside!
