Kazan didn't even really pay all that much attention to Sahir's words, he was too distracted by the look Dral was giving Enizo. He chuckled softly before speaking up.
"Oi... Lemonface! This guy's giving you the same look that you give me every now and again, isn't he?" He smiled broadly as he hoisted his sheathed blade up, the weapon laying across both of his shoulders behind his neck, a hand either end of the weapon held it in place as he continued onwards with big steps to match his generally bright mood. He had seemingly completely ignored Enizo's comment on dying in a corner, Kazan wasn't exactly a big fan on dying in any way, shape or form, a wonderful testament of irony, considering he'd killed two Allorum Guardian's when he had been a child.
"Oi!" He cried, letting go of the end of his blade and pointing forwards. "Barty-art! We're coming for you! So you'd best be ready, you here! Here comes Kazan! The Volcano!"

The sky over Relinquo was red, and dark. The sound across the city wasn’t of people chattering and over walking, but it was the sound of pickaxes striking the roads. Intimidating shield monsters that attacked Roccia stood in a neat row as they watched the people digging up the roads. Bart walked behind the monsters, and shouted to the people, “Remember! We are here for one thing. If you find it, then I will see to it that you will get your city back to you. Don’t want to end up like them.” Bart said as he pointed to pile of bodies. A woman stopped digging and picked something up, “Is this what you are looking for?” Bart walked over to the woman, but she held out her one hand, showing a really old coin. Bart’s face turned from excitement to frustration “No! Why would we look for a damned old coin?!” He shouted at her. She then moved her other hand, which had her pickaxe, and she slammed it into his shoulder. She started to run but Bart quickly ran towards her, and grabbed her head. “You damned fool… what was the next part of your plan? Hmm, you think you could have beaten them after beating me?!” He pulled the pickaxe with his other hand, and while the wound bled, it didn’t for long. “You need to be another example.” His hand then started to glow, and then there was an explosion. Nothing remained of the woman as Bart wiped his hand. He looked at the rest of the people, and shouted “DO YOU NOT UNDERSTAND!? I AM THE ONE THAT OVERTHROWN THIS CITY! ONE SMALL ATTACK WON’T STOP ME! I-“ Then he looked to his side as 2 of the monsters came up to him. “So they are here… right on time.” He said with a grin. He then vanished into the darkness using his stealth as he watched the heroes without them knowing his location. A group of 15 new guards came towards the gate where the heroes were coming.

Enizo could tell something was off about the city when he could spot it from the distance. The area looked lifeless and gone.
As the group approached the city Enizo took out one of his blades and approached the gate, "Guards of Relinquo, Allorum Guardians request entrance into the city. We are in the mist of a chase and we need to enter!"

One of the monsters just stuck his sword up and the rest of the group charged, with their shields up and their blades sticking out.
Volkmar looked at the group, and chuckled. He quickly pulled out one of his swords out and swung it, making a small energy arc to the upcoming group. When it struck the group, it made a small explosion and the group was surrounded by smoke. "Those weren't guards of Relinquo. They are just-" Volkmar was interrupted when the group of monsters kept charging, none of them harmed by Volkmar's attack. "What?! Well... this just got fun." Volkmar said as he pulled out his other sword, and charged to the group of monsters.

This correctly proved Enizo's fears that they had already seized the city. He wasn't going to let this happen, he wasn't going to let more innocent people suffer.
"We don't have time for this!" Enizo yelled as he ran towards one of the creatures and charged up light and dark magic. He formed it into one in the palm of his hand before launching it right at the monster. The magic exploded on contact with the creature, this magic would essentially be like a void if it made contact with the target.

"Well then, at least you boys all have some experience performing a siege on a town. Might as well put it to use" Seigmand said with a hint of contempt in his voice. Examining the terrain and the armaments of the monsters it seemed a simple enough force to deal with.
Less concerned with dealing any damage to the enemies as opposed to advancing their own efforts Seigmand performed a complex kata of arm thrusts, forceful steps and a final "KI-AAAAAAA!". The ground rumbled as waves of earth coursed across the battlefield. The first two built in mass before slamming against the walls, solidifying as two wide ramps leading up to the sentry wall. The third and final wave rolled down the enemy formation, splitting the ground and the enemy unit into small broken packets of enemies.

Enizo ran up those ramp and onto the walls, engaging a couple of the creatures in sword combat. His blade didn't seem to pierce their skin at all, so instead he used his magic and melded it with his blade. This gave enough strength to break their skin.
As Enizo cut through one he looked back to the group, "We need to find Bartholomew, that'll be the only way we can stop this madness!"

"Dammit..." Roxa mumbled as the enemy suddenly appeared and rushed towards them. He looked down at Sonorc's dagger, and quickly grasped for it. Pulling it from it's sheath, he palmed it in his left hand and slipped away to the right flank. Using the waves of rock and earth that Seigmand conjured up as cover, Roxa made his way around onto the enemies side, where their defenses would be far weaker, and where he could possibly get the jump on the opposition.
As soon as the enemies formation was split, Roxa made his move. Bursting forwards, he made a huge leap up towards the earthen wall, intending to fall upon the enemy with clinical precision.
Everything was red, everything from the sky to the floor was a pale shade of red. Ave stood up straight and unsheathed the dark onyx sword and pointed it at the group of soldiers "Evening boys!" He shouted moving forwards
Roxa blinked his eyes steadily as his memory flashed back to over a thousand years ago. He landed harshly on the earth wall, before rolling to a halt and picking himself up, a hand to his head.
Ave just stood there grinning like the embodiment of evil and insanity, before the man could gasp or scream the sword ran across his throat and a fine line of blood gushed from the wound and he collapsed onto the floor dead, dark splatters of blood staining his face. Ave moved from the inner circle with his free hand glowing and pulsating with dark energy
Roxa shook his head heavily and moved his hand away as he let out a deep breath. He narrowed his eyes at the flashbacks, why were these occurring, the events within them were from over a thousand years ago, before even the Saints... Still, he could not worry about those now. He made his move towards the enemy, intending to finish this as quickly as possible.
He dropped in amongst the opposition, knife glinting with menace.

The monsters started to gather around themselves into small 3 member groups, their shield up guarding them. Volkmar ran up to one of the groups and slammed his swords on their shield. The shield cracked but it didn't break. The monsters then stabbed towards Volkmar nicking him in the arm. "Damn... these guys and their shields..." He said, then he quickly thought of a plan. He ran up one of Siegmand's made wall, and then jumped off of it, flying to the unprotected top. Volkmar landed among them and swung his sword, bifurcating them.

Within the city limit of Relinquo, there are a few tall towers that loom in the sky. Bart stood on top of one of these towers watching the fight on the outside of the city walls. Two Sinner walked up to Bart and stood there waiting. Bart tilt his head back, and said, "Prepare the rest of them. We will wait for them in the inner part of the city." The monsters nodded and walked away from Bart. "So futile..."

More sinners were streaming through the city streets at them, they were like riot police. Lined perfectly making it impossible to try and run through them. Enizo cringed as he watched them gather up, "They've really taken control... haven't they...?"
Suddenly arrows streamed out of the bush from behind the group, flying through the air and slamming into the sinners. The arrows were accurate and managed to drop a great deal of them. The creatures weren't expecting this and the steady stream of arrows were causing them to fall in numbers. The creatures quickly retreated back into the city where the arrows could not hit them.
"Don't take another step!" A voice called out from behind as what appeared to be a fair amount of soldiers came out from hiding. They numbered to about four dozen troops... and all their crossbows were trained on the group, "Identify yourselves or you'll get an arrow between your eyes!" One of the troops commanded.
They were Undian, probably troops left over from the humanitarian operations. They looked battered and bruised, but they looked like they intended on killing everyone there if the answer was bad.

"Do we look like invaders or saviours knave?" Seigmand barked out at the regiment. "If you have injured leave them here beyond the walls till we get healers on them, the rest of you I need up those ramps and along that wall to offer us cover fire got it? Either help us kill the monstrosities and get your revenge or stay back and get out of our way!" He gave the group a stare down, unrelenting and absolute until they began to move according to his commands.
At least for their sake he hoped they'd acquiesce. Scouts and ranged fire would help them stop anyone from leaving the main gate while they mopped up any resistance, but he wasn't about to be held back wasting time on convincing them otherwise. All it would take was a quick gesture of his hand and he'd forcibly silence the first man or woman to speak against his orders, guaranteed.

"Forgive my acquaintance's rudeness."
Roxa stepped around Seigmand, and bowed shallowly to the troops, fist in palm as he straightened up and gave them a warm smile. "You are Undian troops, yes? Wonderful. My name is Roxa Hiaten, King of Roccia." He looked the troops over, they didn't appear to be the special Marines who had helped him take Silicis City, but moreover looked like your normal troops. They were worn and had clearly seen a lot of combat in recent times, and the last thing he wanted to do was to aggravate them to the point where they didn't quite feel like helping them. Given their numbers, the only way to stop any assault by them would be to kill them all, something Roxa didn't feel like doing to troops of a close ally.
"Seigmand may have a sharp tactical mind, but his etiquette requires some work." He chuckled softly as he looked around at the troops, trying to gauge which of them was the commanding officer. "I wish we had proper time to acquaint ourselves with one another, but it is time that we do not have. We are hoping to free this place from the enemy who grips it so tightly, your help would be greatly appreciated, so, which of you is in command here?"

There was a blank stare on the troops face as Seigmand spoke, perhaps it was because the only thing these Undians had been hearing were the screams of their fallen comrades that the sudden outburst from Seigmand made it hard to follow. Was he some sort of Undian commander? Or maybe even one of the Santo-Lucians that had been working closely with?
All crossbows were directed at Seigmand and they seemed intent on loading the man full of arrows, they didn't much know how screwed they would have been to try it against that man. Thankfully Roxa snuffed the fuse quickly with his words and the commanding officer moved in from the crowd.
"King of Roccia...?" The man blinked before motioning for the crossbows to be lowered, "I heard you were to be married, did you decided to spend your honeymoon on this spit of earth?" The soldier glanced around, the only woman here was Sahir so he assumed that must have been his queen and all these men were his bodyguards...
There was small chuckle from the surrounding troops who were clearly amused at the fact they stumbled into the King of Roccia. The commander shook his head bowed slightly to the King, "My apologies, I am Commander Yajirushi. This is what's left of the humanitarian operation that was occurring in this city. Does your little group plans on seizing the city back now?"

"Ah, there was an issue with the wedding... I am assuming you're disconnected from your intel? Silicis City was attacked just before the wedding and my bride was kidnapped... We believe the man who has taken her is the same one responsible for the capturing of this city." He gave a short awkward cough before addressing Yajirushi, who seemed like a respectable enough soldier.
"Anyway. My personal matters aside, we do indeed plan on seizing the city back, as quickly as possible as well. And as I said we are sorely strapped for time. Whilst he may not be all that sociable, Seigmand here is correct, whilst my small group here is rather tough, we're not going to be able to seal the exits efficiently as well as defend ourselves." He motioned to the ramps Seigmand had made. "From up there you should be able to offer effective cover and prevent anyone from escaping the city. I suggest a small contingent of troops placed just outside of the wall, hidden in some foliage like you had done already, to take care of any that actually do manage to escape."
He did a quick head count on the troops, about four dozen, they should easily have enough to spare. "This is all optional of course, but I would be in your debt for your aid."
