Being a little headstrong, quirky and "in your face," Katina's appearance is built to reflect this, her hair, which is usually swept to the right to hide her blind eye, is tinted a variety of dark purples, bright pinks and deep blacks, various piercings lining her left ear and a single stud under her lip, and deep, dark eyeliner. Is commonly seen garbed in a lightly armoured, black, armless trench coat, billowing charcoal pants, heavy combat-style boots, thick leather gauntlets, and wrapped to the nines in all manner of small pouches, harnessed carrying compartments and belts of various what-nots.

Personality: A little impetuous, fiercely determined and perhaps a little intimidating, more so by appearance and the rumours that surround her, Katina is a mixed bag of eccentric, energetic, enigmatic and perhaps a little dangerous. On the outside, Katina is fairly brazen, speaking her mind without remorse, often interacting with people, men especially, in a very coy and flirtatious way, and behaving in a manner too casual, if not a little obscene at times, for a person of high society
Inside though, Katina is a rather nervous, lonely, unsure and reserved woman, mostly in regards to her interaction with people, and the connection it has with her damaged appearance. Feeling on the outs when it comes to love, attraction and simply how she's perceived by others at a glance, Katina acts indifferent to try and wash over the judgements she feels other are making, and teases and flirts as more a direct and desperate attempt to try and inspire interest, as opposed to being an act inspired by confidence.
On top of all this, Katina is of great intelligence, especially in regards to research and development regarding machines and practical implementation of Mana, leading her to sometimes get a bit big headed, a thing made all the worse by her tendency to overstretch it due to her inferiority complex.

Equipment: Having no aptitude for magics themselves, Katina has armed herself to the nines with all manner of self produced Magical gear to ensure her protection.
- Shaping Gauntlets: These magical greaves allow Katina to magically shift and mould all non-magical metals, woods and earthen materials that she touches. Such moulding requires direct physical manipulation of the element, meaning that Katina has to be able to properly articulate her hand and cannot just shape material by touching it and willing it into a shape. Mainly for construction and building, but useful in a pinch with some quick and clever thinking
- Artificing Cubes: small magical contraption that effectively function as single use spells. Due to the cubes being moderately ineffective in their utilization of mana, the draw a large amount from the surrounding area to activate, meaning many cubes cannot be used in rapid fire succession due to the lack of mana they leave after each use, but such things can be just as useful for quelling the magical onslaught of casters that would oppose her. Cubes can be reused, but require activation again, and another chunk of mana to absorb with each use.
- Mana Core: Powerful specially crafted Artificer Cubes that function as a temporary "soul" for inanimate objects. Commonly used to create semi-sentient golems and sentinels that serve as her defenders and servants, be it for combat, or more everyday endeavours.
-Lined Coat: Katina's coat is lined with several of her Artificing cubes, designed to detonate upon her command and release a directional burst of force. This, with proper timing, can be used to cut the strength of a magical strike (on mana absorption), a physical strike (on release), or be used as an offensive manoeuvre to just deliver a blast of raw force.
Combat: Katina possesses no formal combat experience, and thought almost always outmatched in physical combat, she is a cunning fighter, and a resourceful once to boot, commonly relying on either her golems to fight her battles for her, or kiting her opponent and baiting them into laid traps and magical onslaughts should she have to fend for herself.
Magic: Experienced Artificer, and powerful Mana harnessing technology, but no innate ability to cast magic
Flaws: Being headstrong and impetuous, Katina tends to jump into danger if she sees any real reason, even going so far as to try and find reasons to do so at times. Her insecurity is always a factor that lies just beneath the surface, and can cause her to become quite reserved in almost immediately if she feels judged or unwanted.
For combat, Katina's hindered vision always has the potential to be a hinderance, and her lack of any physical combat prowess easily means any matter of warrior, seasoned or not, can pose a threat if they can close the gap.
Worse yet is anti-magic fields or areas with little arcane energy present, as both situations can interfere with the functionality artificing, rendering them weaker, if not useless.
History: Growing up in a high class family of prolific blacksmiths within Chablys, Katina lived a very privileged life as a young girl; her parents and family members of generations past being of such a boon to the nation that they were regarded just slightly below royalty. Such benefits did not come without certain dangers, one all to well exemplified when Katina was abducted as a young girl and held for ransom. The situations turning from bad to worse, Katina, along with her captors, were caught in a massive explosion, severely wounding Katina, taking the sight in her right eye, and badly scarring her right arm, leg, and sections of her torso.
Rescued and nursed back to health by some of the finest Clerics money could buy, Katina survived, but suffered harshly for the damages she sustained, taking years to recover physically and mentally from the kidnapping, and longer still to recover from the explosion. Eventually coming to a decision, Katina swore that she'd never be weak enough to let it happen again, and took to inventing as her family so commonly did, finding a profound intelligence within herself that allowed her to make leaps and bounds in her families well practiced and archaic art, by adding magic to the mix.
Realizing the profundity of her discovery and what it could mean for her nation, she sought to further lay a path for her family's prolific history and continue research and development to better prepare Chablys against any possible threats, eventually leading to a military level position as a weapon developer. Thought many of her items were still in prototype phases, her Artificing Cubes and, better yet, her Mana Cores were a clear proof of concept, but she always had trouble getting clearance from previous royals to better expand her resources and get her inventions out of beta phases and into full scale production.
Flash forward to recent times, and with Chablys without a proper ruler, Katina saw a perfect opportunity to advance Chablys by taking the helm herself along with her steadily grown army of Golem and every watching sentinels. With this, Katina usurped control of Chablys and paved the way for a Totalitarian Dictatorship that she has controlled with the ever watchful throngs of her living golems, as she, and her creations in tow, stand always ready to enforce the law upon those that would do wrong against her and her people.
