The masked fighter spun effortlessly in mid-air, landing with their feet and their free hand pressed into the wall, they remained stuck against it as they watched the group calmly. The fighter chuckled slightly as it observed each of the group one after the other again, casually watching the other demons attacks steadily fail against the groups whom they were fighting against, causing this particular demon to cock their head to the side.
"A new generation?"
They were gone again, moving faster than the eye could follow, springing up into the air, they hovered above Eli, sword raised up to the heavens as they plunged downwards, aiming to slice the boy clean in two, clearly aiming to take care of his berserker strength before it became too much of an issue. Brea moved quicker, suddenly appearing between the two, he gritted his teeth as their blades clashed together, sending them both sprawling to the ground, their blades still locked. Both scrabbled into more stable footing as the two struggled against one another.
"Eli! Zaria! Now!"

When Itami's fire hit the acid, it combusted into a wave of fire. "OH GOOD SCIENCE!" Ramirez said as quickly made a sigil and made a wave of water to combat the fire. Ramirez then started to think Wait if that stuff is combustible, then maybe we can burn it... it has a 51 percent chance of working. "Itami, Yeligar. Try to make it spit more acid. When it does, cast fire into it's mouth." He said quietly, "It should burn him servilely."

Zeke would have likely thrown out a smarmy joke about the creature's blade size were it not for the speed and deadly strength that it demonstrated immediately after. Like a bird of prey it descended upon him with a killing blow, and were it not for the magic bonds that strengthened his armaments, it surely would have been. While the chain took the blade's edge, it's force pushed down upon it till it met with Zeke's shoulder, dropping him to one knee as his entire left side crumpled.
"AAAAHHHHH!" He roared in pain, no doubt the cracking sound he heard being his collar bone breaking with the attack's force. Stirring what focus he could on the task at hand Zeke looped the chain once over the demon's blade, doing what little he could to catch the foe's weapon before slashing out at the creature's forearm with his right blade.
Come on orb, do your magic. I could really use it now.
So weak. You call upon it, but can you handle it?
The words buzzed, and like the far off call of a familiar friend they were at once noticeable but indistinguishable. Zeke thought he imagined the voice, a side effect of the searing pain in his shoulder, yet while he dismissed it the orb had already began to glow softly against the course fabric of his belt pouch.

Seeing her great success sparked an intense pleasure in Shanira, something strong enough to indeed combat the feeling of searing pain in her head. She at least knew this feeling, the harder she pushed herself the easier it was to deal with the pain and odd sensations. She just wished she knew what was wrong back at 'home'. For now, it numbed again and she laughed loudly, sword in hand and with a hilarious twirl she stopped in a victory pose...something that lasted for a couple of seconds before her whole body twitched...and thankfully it wasn't in pain, whatever was afflicting Alexander seemed to be having less of an effect. She dropped her arms, turning her gaze back to Mark and feeling like she actually could face him now because that was just embarrassing up until then. " I feel better now," she grinned.

The orb started to glow brighter and bright until completely covering Zeke. As it did a dark voice spoke out to Zeke...
"Use this power wisely, Zeke..." the voice was sweetly sick, like somebody acting like they cared for your safety.
But what that orb gave him? Well... you're about to see.
----
Mark shook his head and laughed, Shanira was crazy and he liked it!
"I'm glad you're feeling better, M'lady. Now perhaps we should be turning our attention to helping everyone else?" Suddenly Mark felt it, the spike in wave energy that washed over him, "Shit, watch out, Shanira!"
Suddenly the iron demon split off. The iron leaping and forming in all directions until there was about twelve of the same demon surrounding the two. One of those were annoying, but twelve? That was just unfair!

"Zeke!" I called out in concern, the momentary distraction pulling my attention away from the behemoth and the magic he culminated. Were it not for my sixth sense of the arcane, I no doubt would've been consumed by the pyre that tore the earth asunder below me, but with an instinctual tumble that ended with me prone from the force of the blast, I managed to escape with but several cuts, bruises, and a few new tears on my cloak.
Recovering from my fall, I was suddenly hit with the harsh realization that perhaps I didn't have the option to play the pacifist here, and like so many of my encounters against the beasts that inhabited Allorum, this was going to end with only one team alive. It made me think back to Seigmand and that perhaps I needed to put aside my morals and think more about not only my own safety, but Zeke's.
Whether I was ready to take another sentient life, that I didn't know, but regardless of that, I needed to get over to Zeke, and do something about the smaller demon that was targeting him. Drawing Alles Fräser from my back, I splayed the claw-like segments of the imposing Scythe before dashing towards the lumber creature between myself and my target. Giving my fingers a quick snap, I detonated the swords littering the massive creature, hoping that it would provide distraction enough for my next maneuver.
As I aimed to dart between the creatures legs, I tightened my grip around my scythe as I wound it back, bracing for one of the two results that hoped might present themselves: either Alles Fräser would claw clear through the large creatures leg, or it would dodge, giving me a clear path to the smaller one, who's weapon I hoped to cleave to pieces with one good swing. I bit my lip in equal parts anticipation and anxiety, hoping that my double layered assault might work on at least one respect.

At hearing Brea's plea, Zaria released her attack. Though the strange liquid was harder to work with than water, it was manageable.
She changed the liquid into daggar like shards, and sent them flying at the masked man. Clearly he was an enemy.

With the surprising reveal of the pool of light welling up inside him, both Zeke and the demon halted their actions, bringing them to a standstill. Brimming with a vibrant energy the light pulsed once, twice, then faded away completely. Zeke was the first to snap out of it, hopping to his feet as he could sense the magic knitting his bones together at the speed of thought. "Well that was kind of random. I don't feel anythin-aaahHHGH!"
While his shoulder was left with only a small pain, like the stubbing of a toe, his ribs screamed with a fiery pain that hit him from both sides. He looked down frantically to see what had happened, only to see the source of pain; a churning force from within that was trying to force itself out. With an awful, tearing, force his skin and armour tore as four long shapes, metal and bloody broke out of his sides.
The pain subdued itself, and gasping out a gust of relief Zeke moved his arms only to feel a strange sensation that extended beyond his normal order. He saw that the shapes flexed and twisted to match the movements of his arm. Joints and musculature at once made itself known to him, and with a concentrated focus he felt each one move as it's own separate limb and each finger bent before rolling tightly into a fist.
They felt incredible.
"So, it seems the world has a funny way of paying me back." Zeke smiled at the demon, no doubt clueless to the meaning behind the comment. "Sorry, but I think I interrupted us. Why don't you try that again?" He didn't know what in his mind filled him with such brazen confidence, he wasn't even sure what these arms were capable of. All Zeke knew was that they made him feel like he could take on the world, so right now, a half runt of a demon seemed like nothing before them.

"Well, if that works..." Yeligar said as he pulled out the white blade put in the red blade. After the fire died down, Yeligar ran up to the demon and aimed at the lower leg of the demon. "HEAT WAVE!" He shouted and then he spun in a circle, sending a transparent extremely hot, red wave towards the demon.

The masked fighter turned their head just in time to see the dagger-shaped liquid flying towards them. They reached down to Brea's wrist, and pulled out his sheathed red blade, before raising the weapon, and blocking the incoming strikes, which splashed against the weapon. The fighter knew they still weren't safe... If this person was an Aquamancer, then simply having the liquid on the sword could be dangerous. They tossed Brea's sword in to the air, before kicking out into the swordsman's stomach, sending him sliding backwards. They turned and rushed towards Zaria, leaping into the air, sword raised.
He didn't have much time to react... He was sliding backwards at one moment, his steel blade still grasped in his hand, and the red blade that belonged to his family flipping through the air away from him. Everything seemed to move in slow motion as he made his move. He took one step forwards... Two... His sword started it's downwards descent as he pressed forwards on his right foot, forcing himself into the air. His hand reaching out and brushing against the hilt of his own sword as he was already breathing out his next words.
"Niken: Hiko..."
He soared forwards, cutting in between Zaria and their masked assailant, one blade knocking their's slightly off course, hopefully granting Zaria enough room to shift away or parry what was left within the strike, his second blade brushed against the assailants mask, leaving a deep scratch within it.
The pair tumbled to the ground, and the mask shattered on impact...

Ingway's attack slammed into the slow beast, causing it to fall straight onto the ground. The large creature wanted to get up and strike back at the annoying little human when there was something of an intense wash of power.
The large creature grew into a panic before screaming out, "DUO!" The large creature suddenly pulled itself up, its panic causing it to unleash a great deal of explosive magic, many of it going up around Ingway.
The smaller Demon had to take a couple steps back in surprise, "You must be fooling me, you really are him aren't you!?" The demon didn't want to wait any longer, it swung its blade with even more strength right at Zeke. Something was horrifying them. For a good reason, too...
----
Yeligar's move seemed to be very effective, the heat unleashed bothered the demon greatly. So much in fact that it had to pull away from them, backing itself into a corner.
But it didn't stop there, the Demon seemed to be panicking...
And than it was clear why. A strong wave of power suddenly swept through the entire area, Mark froze as he realized what it was...
"Son of a bitch..." Mark looked around at everyone, a little bit of panic started to rise in him as the crowd in the stands became more and more worried.
"EVERYONE, WE NEED TO FINISH THIS UP QUICKLY!" Mark said before softly saying to himself, as if he was having trouble believing it, "Because Duo is here..."

"What, Duo?" The talk all finally hit him, and for the first time Zeke bothered to address the accusation, albeit in a confused and stammering manner. "T-the hell? I'm trying to beat Duo, and you're the one holding us back from doing so." His metallic arms came up and met the demon's blade with a thunderous clang.
The idea perplexed him, and for a moment Ingway's comment about the demons stirred in his thoughts, yet there was a terrible thudding that was beginning to grow within his mind. Shit. He put his regular left hand to his eye, wincing at the pain. Guess this thing ain't gonna let me use it for long. I'll have to make this quick.
In a lightening fast blur of motion Zeke slung the chain around the creature's sword while a metal hand stretched out from both sides and clutched his arms in a vice-grip. His two remaining hands exploded with power as a flurry of kidney blows struck the demon right in the ribs. At last with a Herculean feat of strength Zeke spun the demon around before hurling him sky high.
His mind stung with the constant buzz of what felt like a thousand commands echoing inside him, and only at last surrendering the orb's power did the buzzing quiet. Collapsing to the ground the arms collapsed back inside Zeke, leaving him armorless and powerless as he recovered from the strange power. "Ingway! He's all yours!"

Shanira whipped her head around in every direction to get an idea of where her new couple...few...lots of enemies were, now. The pressure in her head throbbed, though still of no pain (yes!) which meant good things for the guardian. Seeing the iron demon multiplied widened her eyes, but it wasn't going to throw her off, yet. Not now that she was getting control over the situation.
If anything, it got fun just in time.
"You want it done quick? I'll look after it!" Shanira announced to Mark with a grin, sword being tucked away as she got ready to do what she did best--run!! Her first order of business being to circle the area, in and around the demons faster and faster, the light around her growing again until she became nothing but a blur and as she circled the demons she launched her fist outwards at them, aiming to clock each and every one of them in the jaw as she zipped past them.

Confused by the sudden turn of events, I relied on my keen 6th sense to point out the spots of deadly arcane explosions as my body bounded and darted reflexively amidst the blasts as I maneuvered closer still to Zeke and his quarry. Unsure of what to think of the strange turn of events, I could only ignore it for the time being and play the opportunist as Zeke hurled the creature skyward, leaving it presumably open to anything I could muster.
Evoking several of my glyphs around the airborne demon, each one fired a ensnaring bola that tightly wrapped itself around the creature restraining it's movement, and making for one hell of a descent. But I wasn't about to count on gravity and the fall to do that work for me, as I prepared a host of arcane blades to meet the diminutive creature upon his thunderous crash back to the ground.
With a crushing thud of the demon rider against the earthen floor, I give my blades the signal as they make a pin cushion out of our foe before bursting in a frightening display of red arcane energy, the creature motionless and unconscious from the violent surge of magic force.
"And then there was one..." I stated as I motioned my attention back to the massive demon that still remained before us. "You gonna be okay, Zeke?" I enquired, hoping that either he was still in fighting condition, or at least well enough to maneuver to safety.

The Demon hadn't felt so helpless as he was quickly overwhelmed by the power and precision the two possessed. The arcane blades swept straight into the demon, causing it to let out one last cry in pain...
Followed by a roar from the larger one, "MASTER!" It roared before charging right in the direction of the fallen demon. It quickly plucked the swords away to examine the demon, it looked down at it before quickly looking at the two, "You did this, now you will face my ultimate power!"
He grabbed the smaller demon into his hands, held him high before dropping him right into his mouth. There was nothing at first as the larger demon seemly swallowed the other one whole.
And than it happened, the creature started to change. Its skin became darker as its body seemed to compress down in size, its head grew two large horns as a blade similar to what the other demon was holding appeared in its hands.
"TOGETHER, WE ARE THE DEMON LORD!" It roared as the area around them grew tense with a dark aura.
----
Shanira swept past the demons, landing her blow squarely where she intended. The speed of the blow seemed to burn away the part of metal she had hit, but not kill them.
Mark followed Shanira up with unleashing a wave of light magic that shaped and swirled until it directly consumed about four of the twelve demons. That was helpful, if Mark had known that would be effective he would have used that beforehand!
The rest of the demons tried to counter the attacks, while most of them couldn't react in time thanks to the daze Shanira put them in, the rest unleashed multiple iron spike that flew in the direction of the two.
