Andy had seconds, he dropped to his knees and slid, the two swords that were at his head merely hit empty air. He skidded to a stop and spun around, blue energy running up his blade.
"Hadoken!" he roared, firing a massive blue fireball at the Fallen as he landed on the ground.

The sonic waves tore into the Other, sending his bulky figure hurling up and away into the tree-line, till finally the energy had dispersed enough for his body to come to a stop, albeit with the help of a good four or five tree trunks to help that.
Grunting as he pulled a stump as wide as his torso off him, the Other made no effort to rise quickly as he calmly stood, dusted the leaves and branches from his body and gave the Siren a questioning look. "It appears I was mistaken. There is indeed so little that eyes can tell you about another being. After all, I had assumed you to be the most intelligent of these creatures here, but clearly you must be the dumbest if you thought striking me would gain you anything but my ire!"
Throwing his arm back it extended like a whip that ensnared the massive trunk before snapping back with a sharp crack that pierced the air. The trunk hurtled towards the seductive woman's body as the Other called out, "Now give to me the location of those worthy of my time, or perish for wasting it, you screeching whore!" before he followed up the log with a swing of his fist that stretched and twisted into a whirling horn that appeared as a drill heading for her chest.

"So... You're not giving up easy, huh..?" Kazan groaned as he dodged vines this way and that, wishing that he could get to his sword that was still lodged deeply into the Hunters arm. "I suppose I need to finish you off quickly, then! Alright!" He ducked under a vine and grabbed it.
"I hope you're ready!" He shouted with a sharp grin. "Because you're about to face the Yōyū Shūgeki Kyūryū!" (Magma Raid Torrent)[/i]
He pulled back on the vine, and jumped, the stretched appendage pulling him back towards the Hunter, his mind worked in overdrive.
'Magma works... It pierced the big'un in Roccia and my sword just punched through it's flesh now... I have to work that advantage...'
As soon as he was close to the Hunter, he let go of the tentacle and slid underneath it, reaching out, he touched it's flesh with his left hand, slamming his right against the ground.
"Yōyū Kidosuru!" (Magma Launch)
Moving his right hand off of the ground, a shot of lava burst from the ground, launching the Hunter clean into the air. Kazan rolled onto his feet, squatting down low, he jumped up after it, growling to himself.
"Now lets rattle you around a bit! "Sakura Panchi!"
His fists coated in lightning, as he grabbed a dangling vine with his left hand, and punched the Hunter with his right. The beast flew higher up whilst Kazan followed on the tentacle. He swapped hand and repeated the action, again and again until he'd punched it five times. On the sixth, he punched it on the side, spinning the Hunter mid-flight so it's belly faced the air and he was stood atop it.
"Ugh, man... I hate this part..." He grumbled, leaping up higher than the Hunter, before opening his mouth and belching out magma. Placing his feet on the burning solid/liquid, he surfed it down towards the hunter.
"Yōyū Doshaburi! (Magma Downpour)"
The magma slammed into the Hunter and instantly seemed to cool and harden into molten rock, the sudden new weight and resistance sending them crashing back down onto Allorum, the intense weight from Doshaburi, the blunt shots of Panchi and the concentrated shot of Kidosuru being enough to kill off the Hunter. He hoped so, he was nearly running on empty.
"Yōyū Shūgeki Kyūryū... Complete..." He muttered.

"Yes sir!" Arnold barked, his body snapped to attention on command as his formation was given access to the battlefield. The young man indeed had plenty committed to muscle memory, it was just a shame it was all utterly useless to her. Formations, military discipline and structure, all perfected in his mind, and all not worth a single drop of sweat spent mastering it when battle finally raged mere feet away. Normally A.B.A. would keep a low profile and maintain her persona, but with the way the forces of Duo swarmed and overtook any hapless Guardians, she could tell Arnold's "persona" was going to get her killed.
It's war, not too likely a rank-and-file nobody will get noticed anyways. Time to cut loose, my style. A smile that only hinted at the brutality that awaited flashed for only a second as she gestured her helm's visor down. As always her illusions responded perfectly, the metal sounding off with a high pitched clink.
Breaking off from formation and into the fray A.B.A. drew her shield close to her centre and took long low strides up to her first target; one of the mannequins busy bashing against a fellow Guardians quivering shield arm. The woman barely held on as the rain of blows did not slow, the creature feeling no tire in it's superior frame. Yet with a rolling tackle A.B.A. took it off it's feet, barreling down to the ground with her straddling the creature's hips. It's sword arm struggled against her shield, pinning it long enough for three vicious stabs to its neck before it barely hung onto the rest of its body.
Completely useless. A man this size should have been able to do that in two. Indeed, to have another's body, especially in something as dynamic as combat made her all to aware of the weaknesses in Arnold's inexperienced body. The way his right leg was ever so slightly more powerful from him favouring it in his stance, the way his left arm hadn't been trained enough to properly support the shield's weight at full extension yet, right down to the lack of calluses on his palms. It was pathetic to her, but after the luck she'd had with souls beforehand, it wasn't as if he could have expected to strike gold three times in a row.
Her killing blow had attracted the attention of two bandits, and seeing Arnold already on his knees no doubt they thought him easy prey. Taking a flanking position, the one in front went for a thrust with his scimitar to pierce the neck while the one from A.B.A.'s left swung wide with a flail that was far too finely crafted to belong to him. She had only enough time to block the thrust, leaning forward on top of the creature's still warm corpse to dodge the flail as her shield parried the blade away and down.
Amateurs, they barely know how to use their weapons. A.B.A. scoffed. Her blade pulled out from her fallen foe only to embrace the one bandit's calve, and with a vertical slice down to the ankle he fell with a whimper. The other looked on in horror, no doubt surprised he missed, and even more surprised when her shield smashed into his kneecap. The sound was unmistakable, and the way he crumpled before her was an all too familiar sight. They had no chance to react as her short sword killed them with one easy stroke apiece.
God, I don't know how I managed to endure being Seigmand for as long as I did. Her body sang with pleasure as warm blood splashed past her illusory armour only to struck against her face. I've missed this. The exhilaration she felt was ebbing though, a ripple in a pond, and wanting more, she rose to see the flood of enemies still raging on, each one a stone waiting to be consumed by that very pond.

The Hunter couldn't seem to regenerate fast enough as the magma burned straight into the creature. It roared out as the magma seemed to spread all around, burning than encasing it.
And just as the it was about to be completely encased, it burst out into hundreds of seeds, leaving an empty shell of its figure behind as a showing of Kazan's victory.
"Kazan!" Kal called over as the two went to their ally's side, "I'm impressed!"
As much as Enizo hated to admit it, he was too. Kazan had taken one of the Hunters on and succeeded with minimal help. It disgusted him, but yes, Enizo was very impressed with Kazan's show of force.

"Hey Sei-shin!" Kiba called, jumping backwards, annoyed at how little effect his attacks were having. "Let's see if we can't overpower their healing powers, huh? I'm going ot use a venom blessing, you do your showing off, let's see if we can take this thing!"
His staff glowed green; then he leaped into an acrobatic series of strikes at the Hunter he and Seishin were fighting.

Landing softly on the ground after my strike, I simply gazed up at the creature as it tried to agitate me with idle mockery. An futile endeavour at best, as such things would not sway me, nor soften my steely resolve.
"Save you breath, demon, for you have little left and had best savour it. Such rage and emotion are not the sign of weakness, but of strength, for with every person you and your foul master harm, their strength is added behind mine, bolster my fists and my resolve. It is not my rage that fuels my power, but justice, justice that you shall sample in full force, here and now!"
Phasing from the creatures vision, I appeared right below it's chin, delivering a jaw-crushing uppercut with such force that it launched the creature skyward. Diving back towards the ground, I rested my hands softly at my sides as I slid deep into a horse riding stance, before turning my head skywards towards the cretin that sat lofting amongst the cerulean sky.
"Let each strike serve as penance for each soul you've hurt, Demon! Shishigami Killing Technique: Infinite Barrage of the Heavenly Cannon!"
With a sudden blurred motion, my fists seemingly disappeared from human sight and my shoulders became but a shifting shade of my green garments as my limbs exploded in a salvo of supersonic punches. With each indistinguishable motion, my fists burst in an thunderous banging sound, the sheer energy released forming the launched air into a spherical projectile that tore through the sky as if fired from the cannon off the port of a warship. From the resonating might of each strike, the ground beneath me gave way, creating jagged rifts in the earth with each punch, expanding further and further as if the land itself was giving way and ready to crumble against the unrelenting might of my justice.
Not giving an inch, I continued my barrage, confident that the creature would fall before the terrifying might of my technique, such that I consumed every last once of the energy stored in Phoenix Rettenjo, causing the faint aura of my Fu-Rin-Ka-Zan technique to dissolve. Bringing my fists to a halt to reveal my smoking gauntlets, I looked skywards once more, looking to see what devastation my maneuver had wrought upon the heinous beast.

"Such anger suits you well, Bracken. I guess some things never change..." Echoed a voice through the thicket of verdant greenery that hung all around the Other. Piercing from the blackness that coated the forest floor, the cracked smile and slit-like eyes of the Lord of Shadow's visage met with his old rival. "I suppose I could say I'm glad the material world hasn't changed you, as there's some comfort in knowing that you're still a power hungry monster."
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Upon the request of his new "companion," Dios plodded over towards Sahir, squatted down next to her and twirled his hat in an almost uninterested fashion as he gazed over the battlefield with his usual odd grin.
"So, it would appear that you have common sense enough to have some hesitation when it comes to these things. You thinking up a plan to dive in there, or has hesitation gripped you by the haunches, unwilling to let go?"
Dios really didn't care what the dark-skinned girls response was, he was really just making conversation at the behest of the shade that now inhabited him. Dios wasn't a fan of taking orders, let alone even working with others, but it was hard not to follow the shadows lead, as it knew more then any human could, and seemed to have Dios' best interests in mind. Thought somewhat reluctant about making banter with anyone, let alone a child, it was hard to ignore a request from the being that was making him stronger, so, for now at least, he'd follow along.

"Now don't that sound familiar..." The Other snapped his arm back and looked around with surprise glimmering in his yellow eyes. At last his eyes narrowed in on what looked to be the blackest part of the tree line where the shadows had unnaturally gathered to blot out the rays of sunlight. "Well well well, the old 'king of the shades' himself back at last. Finally come to admit my superiority and take your place under me, Zazz?"
With no one around but the Widow and the Lord of Shadows around him the Other held no special reaction to the name that the shadowy figure had used for him. Indeed his rage at the Widow had all but vanished completely with the Lord's presence proving far more exciting a prospect to engage in. With his back completely turned to the battle of Heaven's Last he took a relaxed stance and a mocking look in his eyes at the ethereal shadow creature, curious to see his response.

The Widow was struck by both's of the Other's blow, and was sent flying back and into a nearby boulder. When the dust settle, she appear to not harmed from the attacks. She stood up and was about to attack the Other, but the Other appeared to be busy. She smiled and left him as she looked for my soldier's souls to eat.
The Fallen was struck by Andy's Hadoken and was blasted backward. It stopped the backward momentum, with it's swords. "Strong..." It said as it dashed towards Andy with it's sword glowing a dark green color. As it appeared right in front of Andy, it aimed both of it's sword right to Andy's chest.
"This should impress you more." Bart said as he landed right in front of Kal, breaking the ground. Bart pulled out his sword, and swung it horizontally across Kal's chest, producing a deep cut and severing an arm off. "I feel sorry for Heaven, if this is their last defense." Bart said as he turned around, ready to fend off an attack.

Enizo could sense the change in power structure as Barts approached them, however, Enizo wasn't fast enough to do anything about it. In mere moments the act was done, but to Enizo everything felt like it was going in slow motion...
Kal fell as blood crossed into the air, little specks of red clashing across the green grass. Enizo felt his mouth open but no words come out, he wanted to say something... he wanted to yell out like the child he was...
But instead he dove to catch his friend, his arms wrapping around Kal's body.
"Kal!" Enizo yelled, feeling his voice crack with despair as he tried to stop the bleeding - an impossible task for his wounds were too deep and too large.
Kal tried to speak, his voice drowned out by the blood that filled his system. Enizo cried out, repeatedly yelling for the bleeding to stop, as if his words would somehow move the gods to sparing mercy on his friend, "No, Kal, please...!"
Kal reached out with his only hand onto Enizo's shoulder. He was in such pain... Enizo wanted to make it stop, he pleaded...
He felt Kal's hand weaken...
He could hear his breathing shorten...
Kal's hand fell to the ground, his entire body falling still.
"..." There wasn't right words to say, Enizo reached out to Kal's face and closed his eyes. He tried to say something, anything, one last goodbye perhaps...
Instead he got up and turned back to Barts, his eyes showing such an intense rage never before seen in the young boy. "You don't know who I am or where I came from... but by the gods, I'll make you pay for this!"
Enizo ran forward at Barts, swinging his blade with all his rage and power.

Annabelle strolled along the battlefield at an eerily comfortable pace for a place full of chaos and destruction. She wasn't new to war, that was for sure.
And as she walked along she waved her staff in the air, the fissures she'd created earlier still open and with her movements she directed them to spread along the ground, what was left behind closing as it moved and swallowed more foes.

The Hunter flew straight into the air, taking every hit Bang sent at it, attempting to regenerate as it went... right before Bang unleashed his powerful technique the Hunter quickly unleashed an array of vines flying right towards Bang.
'I will strangle you, foolish-' suddenly the technique hit him hard, again, again and again until the Hunter could no longer regenerate fast enough. Suddenly the Hunter burst out into hundreds of seeds after Bang's final attack...
And with that the Hunter was defeated.

"Shit!" Andy yelled, holding up his sword to block the blow, he did, but the resulting strength of the slash sent Andy spinning backwards. He crashed into some of the wreckage, growling as some of the pieces cut into him. He slowly stood up, breathing heavily...his palm began to burn and glow.
"What the hell is going on?!"

The Widow finished off another soldier when she noticed Annabelle. She smiled at the aged soul in front of her, as time made souls better for consumption. She walked over humming her song, hoping that it would lull the lady into a trance for the picking.
The Fallen, not wasting time for Andy to get up, quickly ran and then jumped coming right at Andy like a bullet. His swords crossed in front of him, making an x aimed for Andy's neck.
Bart raised his sword, and blocked Enizo's sword from touching him. Bart looked calm and even happy to see Enizo. "So, that was your friend." Bart said as he looked at him with a smile, "I lost friends too, but I kept my composure in war." Bart quickly raised his foot, and aim to kick Enizo right into the chest. "Your order is pointless. That is why it will fall."
