Remember a few weeks ago? When I was asking about setting up YouTube Channels and such? Well! I knuckled down, bought FRAPS, after asking a few others what they used, and started up the channel! Which is linked below! :3 The ChannelI really need to play around with resolutions, because unfortunately, my PC struggled to record at a higher resolution, so for the time being, we're recording at half-resolution. I'ma fiddle around and see what I can do however... Still! Nonetheless! For the time being, because of college, I'm usually recording one.two videos a week, then uploading them at the weekend! Enjoy! - Jordan PS; I really need to cut down the length of videos...

An okay first attempt man, but I thought I might offer some pointers after giving it a watch. 1) The first thing I thought was why of all games did you choose Mirror's Edge? It's not a new game, it's not a game you could riff on for being bad or silly, and it's not even really a significant game you can talk much about. If you're going to do Let's Plays with the hopes of getting people to watch them, you need to bring something that's worth watching. Speed Runs, Challenges, Riff Tracks, even just being one of the first people to do a Let's Play of a new game can be something, if only for some good reactions/first impressions on a game.
2) It's not about the length, it's about the content. A lot of the time you were just saying what the character was doing. "Jump, Climb, Slide, etc." It's not so much the fault of you, as much as the fault of how little there is to talk about with Mirror's Edge. Honestly, if you can't talk much about the game, don't do it.
3) This is probably the hardest thing to do, but it helps to have a set personality or dynamic to the vids that you can play off of. Two Best Friends and Game Grumps have the two person dynamic of back and forth, Pewdiepie squeals a lot, uhhh, don't really know a lot of other Let's Play guys. Point is that if you want to do any game you want, you'll need to make people want to come just so they can watch YOU, and that's bloody hard to do.
4) Just a tiny nitpick, don't tell people to be grateful for you posting vids. If you want to be an entertainer, it's you who are grateful for them watching and never the other way around. Especially when you're just getting started.
Sorry if this seems harsh, but it is really hard to get repute for a market so flooded with Let's Plays right now. Hopefully this gives you some ideas.

1) I enjoy Mirror's Edge, simple as! It's a game that I own and have fun playing. I thought about speed runs, but I've seen a dude finish Mirror's Edge in 45 minutes flat, I saw no reason to try something I can't quite achieve. All-in-all, it's one of my favorite games and thought it would be a nice place to start.
2) I'll be honest, I tried to talk more about the game and there actually is plenty to talk about whilst playing. I actually pin more of the blame one on me.
3) Yeah, I kinda' think that'll come in time, but it's definitely something I'm going to have to work on.
4) That was a joke .-.
Constructive criticism is constructive! You weren't just slamming, so I can't really complain! :3
