Ever openminded and worldly, Athereon tends to adopt a rather relaxed and inoffensive standpoint about most things, which can lead him to seem uncaring and flippant about matters at times. Along with his "Wilpersilk Armor," Athereon also possess his Catalyst of Channelling, a armament of immense magical power that greatly increases Athereon's powers as an Evoker. Those aside, Athereon always keeps his research notes and spell compendiums as his side, compendiums that house his greater spell requiring semantic or other components.

Combat: Athereon is a magic turret, refusing to move unless necessary and lobbing spell after spell in an effort to stop his opponent. A master of ranged combat, Athereon is adept at calling and perceiving his opponents movements, and effectively zoning them, catching them with a well placed spell when they misstep, or forcing their movement towards a well placed trap.
Magic: Being a master of the Arcane arts and more specifically the elements, Athereon layers the elements together to craft unique magical strikes, or utilitarian spell to support and aid either himself or his allies. Thought a Archmage of Evoking, Athereon is also skilled in most other facets of magic, though not such that he uses any in combat over his mastery of the elements for offence.
Flaws: Though Athereon has his Whispersilk Armour to make up for his elderly body, Athereon is still very much an elderly man, and is inherently frail. Athereon is also a rather egotistical old fellow, and tends to hurl himself into situations under the reasoning that "I've dealt with worse." Whether he has or not isn't the point, but it's simply that his ego allows him to jump into anything thinking that he can deal with it. Further more, Athereon never shuts up…ever. He's almost always regaling those of his past adventures, or trying to impart some brand of his own wisdom unto others, whether wanted or not, and can be a little trying on those would rather he just shut up.
History: Athereon's history is long and sorted, filled with many different tales of heroics, danger, sorrow, victory, and more than anything, adventure, but such things are the tales that one can hear from the man should they just be around him. Athereon's life before his trials and tribulations of being an Archmage was nothing quite so exciting in comparison.
Born as a resident of a higher class nobel family in Crepusculum Kingdom, Althereon's childhood was simple, enjoyable and without strife, adversity, or difficulty; the perfect scenarios to let a young man's mind grow rife with tales of adventure, danger and excitement. Ever one with a creative mind and unparalleled imagination, Althereon's overactive mind was given form and function when he got his hands upon some of the scrolls and tomes his father kept around, what with the man being a mage himself. Witnessing his child prowess with the arcane, even at such a young age, the boy parents prepped the youth as well as they could before sending young Athereon to the University of the Seven-Fold.
Impressing his teachers and quickly overshadowing his fellow students, Athereon quickly caught the attention of teachers, researchers, militants and even several of the Seven-Fold Archmages themselves. Dabbling in work for all the previous mentioned groupings over the years, Athereon quickly cemented his place at the university as a Mage of high renown, eventually gaining a position under the direct tutelage of Belandus "The Weather Whisperer." Learning much from his master and eventually inheriting the woman's position as Archmage Evoker of the Seven-Fold.
SInce taking his place as a member of the Seven-Fold, Athereon has done much to research and expand the University's understanding of the elements and even the spirits that exist behind the very primal natures of the Allorum.
