Okay, so this is the first internet community that I have ever been a part of; along with that and all the art I see people posting up I figured that I should probably get some of my own stuff up and start clogging up this place with artwork of my own. Ingway #1: a doodle of him balancing his dagger. Nothing special. Ingway #2: Okay, so i noticed a definitive lack of chibi, SD or whatever people call it on this site and decided that we needed some on here. This just the first of many that I will be posting, and let it be known that nobodies characters shall escape my chibi-fying wrath. Muahahahaha. Ahem, oh yeah, and I'm aware that the chest looks god-awful. ;D Alrighty, this is a drawing of my newest character, Musashi. Btw this character is not original to those who don't know, he is from a game called Musashi: Samurai Legend that is made by SquareEnix. It is a fun game with some of the best art I have ever seen; play it if you haven't. Next, we've got a picture of everyone's favorite character, Donovan. Finally, this picture is in no way related to Crupusculum, but I really like it and felt it would be good to post some of my other stuff and get some constructive critisism on them. I'll probably put one non-crepusculum related drawing up with each art dump that I do. Okay, so that's it for this time, feel free to begin berating and criticizing my drawing as you please. XD

The second drawing of Ingway is scary... But I like the drawing anyways. Good job.

I have considered watching it/reading it, but I'm always skeptical of series that make their debut in Shonen Jump. Too many horribly cliched series have spawned from that dark tome, and I have made the mistake of reading way too many of them thinking, "Well maybe this one will be different from all those other ones." I may just have to think that once again and give Getbackers a shot.

lol I'd try to reassure you by saying, "I liked it, so it HAS to be good!" but then I remember that yours and my tastes in some things are WAYYYYYYY different XD
Seriously it's...well, I guess the characters themselves are like the "*rolls eyes* typical" kind of characters, but overall I think it's good.
And the two main characters (Ban and Ginji) are, canonically, homosexual. Same with Juubei and Kazuki.

What's wrong with Shonen Jump? Honestly, I get soooo tired of people telling me my favorite animes/etc. are bad JUST because they have "too many fans" or are "overused" or their fans are "horrible"
honestly. Isn't having fans supposed to make something good?
Anyway. *ahem* I'll get off my soapbox before it uns away with me now.
I really like your art - you'ra a lot better than I could ever be.... maybe Canada spawns artists or something? O.o?
*shrug*
I really like 'em, keep up the good work!

My mind gives me strength, but my body gives it form. You would do well to remember such a concept.

Oh, I didn't mean it to sound as if i was assaulting the fans for being fans, or that a series is bad because it's too popular. No, I have no problem with fandom (to a point, you know, there are those people who go too far) but rather with the lack of creativity with Shonen mangas. I'm not sure if I'm just too cynical or over analytical or something like that to enjoy the simplicity of this genre, but the stories, characters, hell, almost everything is cliched or overtly formulaic. And don't get me wrong, I'm not saying the genre as a whole is trite, I enjoy Rurouni Kenshin, Beet: the Vandal Buster, Deathnote and a whole bunch of other Shonen mangas, but these are all ones that either did a staple shonen story archetype with such skill, or they took a chance and did something original. (Oh god, I always write to much ) Anyway, I'll clam up now. Thanks for the comment, it's much appreciated.
