First things first, people - YES, that title DOES say what you think it says! And, yes, it IS a parody of The Devil Went Down to Georgia by the Charlie Daniels Band.
I won't spoil any of the juicy bits here, so you'll have to wait till after you read for the explanation. So, here it is - Trucido Went Down to Hartford.
Oh, yeah - Hartford just happens to be the capital of my home state, CT, if you were wondering.

Trucido went down to Hartford, he was lookin' for a Relic, real
He was in a bind, runnin' way behind, so he had to make a deal
Came across a young girl, playin' a game and she was playin' it hot
So Trucido grabbed a guitar 'n said "Hey girl, lemme tell you what
Now I bet you didn't know, but I play Rock Band II
And if you care to take a dare, I'll make a bet with you
Now you play a pretty good Hero, girl, but give a devil his due
I'll bet a controller of gold against your world, 'cause I think I'm better'n you."
She said, "THey call me Miri and y'all know I'm gonna win
I'll take your bet, you're gonna regret, 'cause I'm the besst there's ever been."
Miri pull out all the stops and rock that challenge hard
'Cause hell's broke loose in Hartford and Trucido deals the cards
If you win, you get this shiny guitar all of gold
But if you lose, Trucido gets the world...
Trucido pulled out a memory card and said "I'll start this show."
Fire flew from his fingertips as the game began to load
He pulled hard on the whammy bar and it made an evil hiss
Then all the Sumata joined in and it sounded somethin' like this:

When Trucido'd finished, Miri said, "You're pretty good, Damnedblood,
But park it in that chair, right there, and let me show you how it's done."
She played "Fire in the mountain, run boys run

Will Zelos ever come back?
No, child, no."
Trucido bowed his head because he knew that he'd been beat
And he laid the gold controller down at Miri's feet
Miri said, "Hey, come on back if you ever wanna try again
I told you once you son of a B, I'm the best there's ever been."

Well... it involved certain random comments from Volk (our head admin) and a song parody a friend of mine wrote based off the same song.
