Dark Feelings/Mirrored

Hey there guys! So, I got afew CR-related (ish) drawings tto post - namely, two. The first one is a little Lana/Kouichi pic I did. First off - yes, I know, there is something seriously wrong with the position of the resting hand. I suck at restign hands. They just... never seem to work. Anyway, here it is.



I actually think this is one of the better pictures I have although Lana's hair just REFUSED to cooperate. I love the ears and tail I gave Kouichi - he's just kawaii enough as it is and then I go make him a neko...

Jess is also better at drawing him than me. Oh well - I guess it's probably because she's going to art college and I'm drabbling in my backyard. Well, if I had a backyard.

Anyway, it's on to picture number two, called Mirrored. I wanted to put this up not because it was drawn for CR but because it was drawn for a preious incarnation of a CR character. I'm wondering if those of you who have never roleplayed with me can figure out who... oh, well, I'll just tell you. After you see the picture.

This is actually one of the best pictures I've ever drawn although the anatomy is a bit wierd and it's supposed to be someone looking into a mirror.



As I said, this is one of the best pictures I've ever drawn, and possibly one of the best hands I've drawn. Not THE best hand, but one of them. The character whose arm is in the foreground is Miri, but I wonder who that is reflected in the mirror? I may or may not use this on CR, but, really, it's just too good of a plot device to miss out on.

Oh honey...

You know that the drawings I do here aren't accepted in university, right? I'm part of the Fine Arts program, and sadly, all comic/cartoon/video game art is considered "amateur" art, which means it has no place in a Fine Arts program.

The things I do in uni are draw realistic nudes, still life, and study other forms of art through history that have nothing to do with cartoons/comics. The only time I get to do comics is outside of class in my own free time, right here with you guys.

You and I are at the same level with our drawings here on CR, dear. I've just had five years more experience, is all XD;; And my style is different. But that means nothing! Don't talk negatively about your work!!!
