....eh.... like it said up there, crap. I'm not sure why I posted this... I even forgot to make Trucido's hair black! *head desk.* Oh well. And also, Trucido doesn't actually have a hat.... *head desk.*

AS ONE OF FOUR ADMINS, I'M PUTTING A NEW RULE IN PLACE: NO ONE IS ALLOWED TO CALL THEIR ARTWORK CRAP ANYMORE. Yes, that includes me or else I'd be a hypocrite. You posted this because you worked hard on it and wanted to share it with us all! And it is very much appreciated and it shall be treated as art just like everything else that gets put on this board. Why is that? Because it is art. It's not right to treat art like something else. And now if you excuse me, I comment on the artwork I personally quite like your solid pencil colour! The things that are to be black (like the pupils) are actually BLACK, which is actually hard for a lot of people to do with a standard graphite pencil =/ The perspective was also very well done ^^ The angle that Mark is coming at, facing Trucido, actually matches Trucido's position and makes the drawing fluid - Trucido actually looks like he's been expecting Mark's attack. Also, you put the action lines in from the blades clashing, which is good. Without those, the drawing looks like it's standing still, which is what you probably don't want. ^__^ I do applaud you, and I shall stop my whining because now you've posted more stuff and I've been waiting impatiently for it all. Very good and as I always say, post more! - Jess

Sorry, at the time of posting I believed it was crap. But, uh, it's not a pencil, it's my inking pen I got for my birthday, very fine tipped like a needle so I could do all the little stuff. But thanks for the comments and I promise not to call anything crap unless I post up a picture with a bunch of lines!

lol me = materials recognition fail. *shrug* Either way, I still stand by what I said XD; It's very good, and don't worry about it at all, honey! And I probably won't be a big (excuse the wording) "nazi" for people belittling their artwork but srsly, we need to start posting stuff and stop putting ourselves down D: In the end, it only discourages us from posting and this is isn't a 'high-class, nose/pinky-in-the-air' art gallery where you're put on critique by a panel of judges who THINK they know what art is (in their opinion, remember). ^_^ We are all artists and we share our work with everyone because we like to do our work - what was the point in doing the work if you don't share? We have to respect ourselves and each other and embrace this (just like you would even if you were submitting your artwork to a high class, stuck-up art gallery) as a great practice and learning opportunity. ...But that's how one should do art anyway. Always strive to get better. Though I do agree with you that sometimes when we post stuff up that we know wasn't good, I mean, it can't be helped that we just shrug and say "Well, this came out like crap but here it is anyway". I guess the big thing I'm preaching to everyone is PRIDE. Have pride in your work!
