now, this is my first rp forum so forgive me if this is a bad idea, but I thought the site could use some extra fun.
I suggest that the site has an rper of the week/month section or perhaps a thread of the week/month. Perhaps even a thread starter of the week/month.
I like the second idea best, and it could work as either month or week.
I think the rper is best as month.
I really don't like the third idea much at all, but it was all in train of thought.

Out of request here is a rewording of my request.
I suggest that every month we hold a contest to be voted on by the members of this forum for the role-player of the week or month (I suggest month)
I also would like a Thread of the week/month contest much the same as the role-player contest, voted for by the members. (I like week in this case)
after each week/month is over (on the sunday/monday or the first of the new month) people can submit nominations to the thread, or the member. then, the next day, (that is crucial) the votes are cast, maybe two days for voting, I don't know. there needs to be a definitive cutoff for voting.
is that understandable?

o.O I understand it. But we'd have to come up with a specific criteria that makes a "Rper of the Month" deal, yeah? And put a poll? And when you say "Thread of the Week", you mean something like "this was the most EPIC thread EVER" kind of nomination/voting/whatever the word is? (I'm sick right now and not thinking clearly) ^^ Other than that, I quite like the idea. We could even make a sticky thread somewhere archiving winners of both and the like, maybe? I can't make final decisions, but I third the idea  |

I'd volunteer to do it, but first we all need to cooperate and agree to the rules and the timing.
I would propose a subsection in the chat area for awards, and a sticky for the rules in the section. If that is out of the question, then the simple chat section will suffice for the posting required.
Also if somebody else wants to do it, that is perfectly fine by me.
