Player: Jordan
Name: King Roxa Hiaten
Description: Roxa stands at around 5'10, with spiky dark blonde hair, he has dark blue eyes which seem constantly frozen in a stance of pain even if his expression says otherwise. He wears white leather armour that covers his whole body save his head. His skin is only slightly paler than that of any other person making him perfect to blend in with other people.
--
The years have since changed Roxa's appearance. His eyes no longer seem so sad or pained, and for a time before his fiancee disappeared, one could even say that he looked happy. However; upon Alessia's disappearance, only unbridled anger has hidden in those eyes, perhaps masked or difficult to see, but most definitely there.
His attire has also become somewhat more regal-bearing. He wears the same leather armour as always, but when not in combat, he settles for a robe of acceptable quality with the royal crest sewn into the left breast. His hair is somewhat longer than what it used to be and his face more matured, as has his figure, which is now slightly more defined and muscular to what it was in his younger years.
Age: 19 (Seal preserved his youth)
Personality: Roxa is a warm and caring person, an attitude that earnt him praise among those he fought as he showed compassion and mercy but some form of distaste among fellow saints who rarely showed mercy.
--
Becoming a King has had a positive effect upon Roxa. He knows that people suffer and accepts that, but he also tries his best to help anyone and everyone that he can. Since Alessia's disappearance, Roxa has seemed almost on knife edge, on the brink of losing everything which he has worked so hard to gain... Even to the point where Ave is making appearances once again.
Alignment: Recently left the Saints... A decision which almost mentaly tore Roxa in two, but he knew that it was a choice which he would no doubt benefit from. He went on to form the Kishu, and then, once they were successful as a mercenary company, and had gathered enough funds, Roxa disappeared from the world and became a true neutral shadow broker. After a few years of this, he started a rebellion in Roccia, the nation to which he is now loyal.
Occupation: King of Roccia.
Equipment: Nought but his weapons and the clothing on his back
Weapons: Roxa has two swords which rest at his waist, one is made of silver and glimmers in the light, while the other is made of Onyx which seems to emit a dark aura which is merely a trick of the eye. They are said to show Roxa's undecisive nature. He also carries Sonorc's old dagger at his waist, which can sometimes make a showing when he's in a particularly tough fight. It never leaves his side.
Combat: Roxa uses quick and flittering movement to confuse his opposition with a series of magic powered flips to fling himself around. Recently he discovered the abilities of an inner spirit of his now deceased sister granting him greater physical strength at times. When he is truly pushed to the brink, Roxa loses control of his mind and 'Ave', an evil spirit of his ancestors, takes over, changing what is a fast and elegant fighting style into a heavy, brutal one.
Magic: Can control Air Pressure around himself, enanbling him to fling himself around in a series of mind-bending flips and attacks. As with his physical combat he gained control of severely powerful dark magic which has become one of his primary attack strategies
Flaws: Roxa has two spirits in a way, his own and his sisters, they are in an almost constant conflict in Roxa's mind which can cause him to have mental breakdowns. He feels incredibly guilty for his involvement with the Saints dissolution and someone could easily play on this guilty. Now a King, he wants what is best for his nation, which can sometimes cloud his vision, but he also sees the world as a whole, and will set Roccia aside for the fate of Allorum. Alessia is another weakness, any mention of her whilst she is missing could easily set the young King off.
History: Roxa's parent's were travellers who took him all over Crepusculum enabling him to learn the way's of other people and look over how they work. One day his parents were brutally slaughtered by a gang of thugs right before him. Angered by this injustice he joined Kain's cause and became one of the youngest Saint's. After being freed from the seal he is not bitter to the world like the rest, he simply wishes to end the evil in the world by any means nessecary...
It was revealed in hidden documents that Roxa spent years before joining the Saint's hunting his families killers and he still seeks to find the one who killed his sister. His Loyalty has been tried and tested repeatedly and although he tries his best he cannot help but be somewhat disgusted by Kain and the other's blindness. Also it seems that Roxa has more than one side to him, when his sister was killed he took on her spirit in the form of Eva and Ave, Eva being his sister, a quiet voice in his mind who can show him reason and Ave being a physical embodiment of Roxa's hatred, Ave is brutal and violent and takes pride in his skill as a warrior.
After the battle to capture Harumi, Roxa was shown that his actions were evil by Gensayce, Riliath, Aya and Malice, he then left with Alessia back to his home in Alberisato.
It was not long before he formed the Kishu, a small group of warriors consisting of Himself, Ayalan Dauzi Invargas, Gensayce Zidjiai, Riliath Infernus and most recently his former Saint and friend Van.
Roxa helped in the defeat of Trucido along with the rest of the Kishu, he spent the next year afterwards living a relativley secluded life with Alessia in their small hidden hut in the middle of the forests of Alberisato, it is rumoured he still bears the guilt of what happened with Kain and Sonorc and some say that the old sandman's dagger never leaves his side.
After the defeat of Trucido, Roxa stumbled upon the Lunar Knights who were hunting down the Ketulunians, in particular, one young Knight named Eli Ventus, who bore a striking resemblance to the then mercenary leader, who instantly questioned the boy. It turns out that Eli came from a family born through the rape of his mother, something which initially gave Roxa a negative impression of the boy. However, over time, and with the help of Alessia, he grew close to the boy who was technically his nephew somewhere down the line, and together with the help of the others, they stopped the Ketulunians.
With this done, Roxa disappeared off of the map for a while. He left the Kishu to its own devices and lived in the shadows, listening to everyone and anyone, gathering funds and probing the world for a weak spot. He would sell information to anyone willing to pay and lived a secluded life until he found what he was looking for... Roccia.
Roccia had lost it's then King Seigmand, who had gone missing and left the nation in the care of a greedy, tyrannical relative, who almost drove the entire country into the ground. Roxa and his Kishu troops intervened along with the help of Unda and the Allorum Guardians, who dethroned the despot and set Roxa up in his place as the King of Roccia. Roxa went about consolidating his position, and by the time his wedding came, he was firmly set as ruler.
Transformations: Through Ave, Roxa has acquired a number of transformations that he can utilize in combat to alter his own fighting style in different ways, all are explained below.
Slip - When Roxa enters his Slip state, he basically taps into Ave's power in order to enhance his own. This is shown through tribal markings spreading down his back.
Break - When Roxa actually loses control (or willingly hands it over) to Ave, he is in his Break state, in which his senses are greatly enhanced, and his proficiency in dark magic increases.
Unsealing - Roxa can forcibly unseal his arms, which greatly increases his physical strength and gives him access to the pools of mana at his disposal.
Breach - In times of great duress, Roxa can break down every seal he's ever put up, and fully release Ave onto the world... This has been done once, when Bart attacked him. The very process nearly killed Roxa last time, and he's not eager to do it again.
