IN FACT, HERE, HAVE AN ALIEN
Has absolutely NOTHING to do with CR whatsoever, but this was completed much faster than ANY CR work I've ever done (even the crappy sketches)--why?
Because I've been drawing her and several other characters for the past three years and it's become a...don't know what you'd call it. I just know what I'm doing when I draw them. Aliens 8) Zarkavians, specifically. Part of a comic idea I started working on like three years ago and still have yet to figure it all out hur hur hur...
Her name is Zerenitia, and she is adorably like Lana XD;;;;; Without the swearing.
And now on to more relevant things...like...
Yeligar, 'cause I want to get him out of the way!;; Why? Because he's in a DORKY suit because I didn't have a clothing reference at the time I drew him. So I made up stuff on the spot.
I srsly should have just put him in a black suit and left it at that.
Mark, 'cause I've been drawing a lot of Mark recently. Andy too, really. I think I'm finally figuring out a system when drawing them to follow (Angelus is also falling into that category--probably because his hair half takes the shape of Mark's...) because recently my stuff I think has gotten better. Kinda.
Jasmine because I really needed to post up a full-body shot of her 'cause I guess some people are still unsure of what in the hell she's wearing? I really should draw her without the robe at some point.
Btw I drew her face wrong in this. Her eyes aren't supposed to look like that and it's pissing me off looking at them.
And now for something AWESOME:
Andy and Mark (HAHAHAHA, ANDY LOOKS LIKE A TROLL I DIDN'T FIX HIS HEAD OH GOD I JUST REALIZED THIS)
And underneath is Jasmine acting girly and creeping Andy out. She does this very well.
What's awesome about this? The fact that I drew it in my car, to begin with. Waiting on my sis to show up >>;;; I used a cardboard box as a drawing surface, and the back of my PAYSTUB as the paper.
I slid another piece of white paper underneath it when scanning so you guys can't see how much money I make and how poor I really am. HA HA.
And now for something SHOCKING:
Here is a scan of the entire sketchbook page, the rings and all, no editing to the image (darkening the lines or anything) at all aside from resizing otherwise it'd be the size of your computer screen.
=/ Because after talking to some people, I keep getting this feeling that some of you are under the false impression that everything I draw is awesome and museum-worthy.
And in truth? 30% of it is. Not even.
Guys? What you see above is what REALLY goes on in my sketchbook, and I could show you even worse pages where I have half a face drawn or stickmen. I'm serious.
Which further backs my statement "Don't worry about what other people think of your drawings, just post them =p"
Anyway, preaching aside, two coloured drawings! (these are big)
Jasmine because I don't think I've done anything coloured with her yet. And she needs colours. YAY, SWIRLY MAGIC.
Her robe is TOTALLY supposed to be a shade darker than the outfit underneath D: But my markers fail and I don't have the right purple--the one in the background is too dark and has more red in it than the blue I need, btw.
MARK--NOW you can see the smudge. It didn't fix too well. And it shows up even worse on the scanner. GUAHHHH.
I drew this, inked it, and instead of leaving it for 24 hours like I usually do before trying to erase the pencil underneath I waited 15 minutes.
SEE WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU GET IMPATIENT?! This made me ANGRY because it looked SOOOO cool.
Soooo....I worked on this anyway and then started sketching out a second one that I'll colour after--the RIGHT WAY. For all I know, that one will be better.
