As promised, here is the Ancient Art Series' first post! Each of these drawings is... well, ancient. And I dregged most of them up because Volk needs post count. Actually, I scanned them all for fun but I'm posting them because Volk needs count. Besides, I want to show y'all ow awfu I was at the beginning of time ^^
Cali Andarius
Cali... Gateguard Cali. Human by birth, after stepping into a world of dreams she became half human, half dragon. Cool, huh? Anyway, her story kind of got scrapped, but... well, I always liked her. This is one of the best drawings I ever did of her, but I was careless and accidentally dropped jelly on it, so it has this annoying stain on it. *pout* Anyway, yup, here it is!
Kevin - Rawkin'!
Kevin. From the days when all my characters were KH Clones and all of them had names (or real ones, at least) that were canagrammed from their originals. Kevin was the leader of a rock band that fought evil as mystic "Travellers" who fought the evils of the universe and protected all that is Good in the world. Because Riku is awesome, I also made him Riku's younger brother, having a bad case of amnesia and adopted by a loving family on Earth. Gimme a break - I was a 7th grader. Wasn't until I took guitar as a freshman that I realized I'd been drawing him left-handed. Oops!
Naminé - Watching the Capsule
Ah, everyone's favorite Nobody... she truly is a dream, a nothing. I keep wondering - "Well, we have Roxas. When are we getting Naminé?" I might make her, just because. I like redeeming bad guys who aren't necessarily bad. *cough* Anyway... I had to put this one up. It's my favorite of the old arts (this one is from two years ago - not quite 'ancient').If you look close, you can see Sora's shadow in the capsule.
Ash Drake
Who could forget this character? Ash Drake - Hanyou/Hantenshi, says the picture - "Half demon/Half Angel" it calls her. Pretty much true, if you take the JFA version. The other... well, let's stick with JFA now. Ash is, reaally, my favorite character. not much to say on the art - this one was an in-class doodle, as hinted by the use of lined paper rather than plain paper.
Akira
What can I say about Akira...? Kickass. Fun. Romantic. Obsessed with High Summoner Yuna, in a fangirl-type way. A descendant of Yu Yevon. Ah, I love Final Fantasy crossovers. This isn't my best drawing of her, but, hey. It came from off the back of last year's schedule, for crying out loud!
