I'd figure I'd would want to post the lyrics to some of the songs, The Messenger seems to be doing well so far so I'll post these first.
The Messenger is standing at, standing at the gate Ready to let go, ready for the crush, the Messenger Too late for whispers, too late for the blush The past is mercy when the future's glow (won't you let it go?)
Kneeling journey dressed in a cloak of shadows The hunting's grim for the innocent eyes Communion's prey is a cup of sorrows (but faith is colors...) But faith is colors for the humbling cries
The Spirit is over town, waiting for me to hit the floor Blooming white sky for the voice of one calling tonight Tonight's fate is the red crown, the red crown around your door Time is scattering the seeds of the mourning daylight
The avenger is roaming through, roaming through the land Ready for the clash, for the lasting gash, the avenger Mothers kissing sons with a staff in hands The bride is shining when the groom is gold (won't you let it go?)
Shouting worship choked in a wave of silver The offering's grief for Deceiver's pride, Salvation man is a cup of fire (but hope is the star...) But hope is the star on a morning tide
The Spirit is over town, waiting for me to hit the floor Blooming white sky for the voice of one calling tonight Tonight's fate is the red crown, the red crown around your door Time is scattering the seeds of the mourning daylight
The Pilgrims are gathering, the marching band, the marching band's howling Compassion is the flag for a righteous man, a righteous man will hold The Pilgrims are gathering, the marching band, the marching band's howling Compassion is the flag for a righteous man, a righteous man will hold
The Spirit is over town, waiting for me to hit the floor Blooming white sky for the voice of one calling tonight Tonight's fate is the red crown, the red crown around your door Time is scattering the seeds of the mourning daylight

Okay, maybe I'm missing the point entirely, and please let me know if I am, but what do either of these songs have to do with our role playing game at all? Rock music is way too hardcore when you consider how little stuff anyone does that matches how rocking the music is. And maybe I'm just ignorant but The Messanger makes no sense for us either as its so horribly morbid. However as to not be just a negative jerk I am prepared with a couple suggestions for the whole thing's theme. 1) www.youtube.com/watch?v=wBtcxlZP4fo&feature=related -I Think I Can by The Pillows 2) www.youtube.com/watch?v=ufMn8TDVjws -The Heart Ask the Pleasure First by Michael Nyman Two totally different sounding songs depending on what I think you mean by the rp board's "theme". The first centers on the users themselves, believing in the ability to do whatever they can think of. Very upbeat and fun, like our players. The second would be more of the world's theme; beautiful, yet a sense of somber dread of sadness on the fringe. Well all the same let me know what you guys think. I can take criticism pretty well, so if you think I'm just straight-up crazy or just plain wrong then don't be afraid to say it.

.__. k, two things:
1.) No offense to ANYONE here, but Japanese music for CR theme = FAIL imho 2.) Sweetie, you're mean to us D:
I think you're focusing on an entirely different aspect of the game altogether, much like Andy was. Coincidentally, it appears we were focusing on Andy's perspective as we all really liked what he had to say xD
The piano song is really pretty. I just don't think it quite fits as a general theme imo ^^ lololol but it certainly could work as a good secondary theme? I don't think anyone would have a problem with that?

I did not choose The Messenger simply because of rock music, the song lyrics are simply left for the player to interprent it's meaning (as said by the band that made the song). Judging by what is said above you seem to think they have a morbid feeling. Me, I see the lyrics describing both sides of the adventure. From the heroes guiding maiden (Profeta), to the sadistic power hungry tyrant (Trucido).
I defend my decision, and stick with the choice I proposed some odd months ago.
