Here he is, in all his glory, Vaan Seraph, the Messenger and resident Chocobo Whisperer!!! I'm glad I finally got around to coloring him... I'm also posting a post with all the stages I went through before getting here. ^^  I love the way this came out, except for the boots, and possibly his locket/medallion. Faey told me I should give him a blue shirt, and I wasn't sure how that would come out, but I think it looks good. ^^ |

The blue and the brown definitely go together, they seem to contrast just enough  I quite enjoy the shading and highlights on him--they are wonderful and make him stand out. |

I definitely love the colored version in this case; the expression seems so much more real and he's got pretty eyes. *.*
You definitely have a good use of the shading process of dark to light and shadowing.
I also notice the fact that there is a definite focal point of light, from the left.
The only thing I want to say about it that would be not the least bit constructive?
I think he'd look hot with a belly ring.

To be honest I don't see why they couldn't... Then again a guy with a belly ring? Did we think that through? I mean a guy with an ear piercing or snake bites is one thing but a Belly Ring? that'd be a new sight for me to be honest xP

Plugs? My friend has a plug, puts a hole the size of a 5p coin in your ear, that's sorta small.
I'm tempted to get a snake bite ^_^ But I've been warned I need to A)grow my hair a bit more and B) Dye it black
