I sincerely apologize to anyone who opens the pnony link my MSN AND yahoo just sent to anyone on my contact list, because I just got a virus from clicking a phony link. Sure that my AVG and firefox had protected me, I calmly boasted to a friend that I was perfectly safe!
OOPS. I just got kicked off of MSN AND Yahoo (because stupidly I signed into the link with BOTH message programs - no comment please) and they are probably busy sending out phony links as my AVG is busy running a scan. I guess I'm off for the night.
And Mike? Feel free to say "I told you so" and will you stop feeling stupid now? Because I'm evidently ten times as dumb. *headdesk*

I'm going to fly myself down to the U.S. to kick BOTH of your asses. Quit calling yourselves stupid! UGH.
This stuff happens, dear. It happens a lot more than you think and it's never usually until after you've sent the link on to everyone else that you realize that you shouldn't have.
Though for the record, there will be no worrying about me. I don't click on links sent to me through email anyway, and more than half the time I toss out fwd'd emails without even looking at them.

Heehee ^^
Well, it looks like I dodged a bullet this time - it was either not a repeater or didn't get the chance to download the repeater portion because it hasn't repeated itself and AVG came up clean. Going to run MBAM just to make sure, though.
