Player: Miri
Name: Lamuria Nerat
Description: Very effeminate-seeming. Prefers clothes adorned with lace, and often wears a sort of wrap that appears to be a skirt. His hair is a rosy shade of tan that appears pink in the right light and reaches just past his shoulders. His preferred colors are purple, cream, and pink, which often leads to others thinking he is a girl.
Age: 24
Personality: Poetic and graceful, Lamuria is a dreamer. But don't let it fool you - he is as deadly as a well-forged sword, no matter how pretty he may appear on the outside, and his wit is as sharply honed as his reflexes. He likes music and flowers, and can often be seen harping in the fields and forests of his homeland. He will always have time to regale a pretty face (ANY pretty face... he isn't choosy about his romancing), although he is much more dignified about his 'flirting' than certain other Sumata. (*coughAlexandercough*)
Place of Origin/Home: A small village in Alberisato
Alignment: Good
Occupation:Queen King of Alberisato
Equipment: A beautifully carved harp. The designs are of roses and other flowers, the most prominent being a lily
Weapons: A long, elegant, graceful scythe, the blade of which is pink. He only carries it when he is heading out for war.
Combat: Lamuria's fighting often seems to be a dance, so gracefully does he fight. He's proficient with many types of weapons, although he prefers his own scythe, and his strength is surprising for someone who is so physically slim. He uses his magic to supplement his fighting style and can, thus, be extremely hard to hit.
Magic: He has magic with plants and can use flower petals to mask his presence and, occasionally, move from place to place. He also sometimes claims that "the wind has brought him" to a place, which suggests he has some form of premonition talent.
Flaws: Lamuria was thrust into kingship very suddenly, so he doesn't really know how it all works, leading him to make many mistakes. His effeminate tendencies cause people to look at him askance as well. People oten underestimate him, which can work for him, but also works against him.
History: Lamuria grew up in ALberisato, livingin a village of music-makers, warriors, and gardeners. He took to all three arts with amazing ease, until, as a young man, he decided to enter the military of Alberisato. He quickly found that those outside his village weren't as tolerant of his 'oddities' as his own village, and it was only his skill with all weapons (and ambidexterity) that kept him in the military. His rise through the ranks was a struggle, always, but finally, he made it to the top.
After Queen Lilith died, there was a confusion regarding who would succeed her, but Lamuria was eventually, albeit reluctantly, chosen from among the possible succesors for his position and ability in battle. He has had to learn the ropes of kinghood as he goes, and is slowly getting better with practice. His friend Vaan, who he dealt with in his days as a captain, has also been helping him learn diplomacy and compromise.
